(OUTDATED) Trap Routes after Pearl Changes!

- 4/4 trap route (hard) with the block phase exit is really hard, and probably only theoretically faster, I’m gonna do it in runs because I’m insane, but I’d recommend the alternative exit.
My current pb with 3/3 trap is 12.1, 1/3 normal 7.8, and 1/3 hard 5.7, I’m likely going to practice 3/3trap more and try to get consistent and fast, and there’s some alterations that can be made to get an even faster time on high ping.
In 3/4 trap you can throw the sheep earlier than I did, but you do likely need both of the pearls I threw up there to get the bat to spawn.
In 4/4, when pearling up to the top, there’s like 12 ways to do it but I can’t decide which I think is the best, so I keep rotating between a few, if you find one you reallly like, let me know! I also have an alt tac 4/4 route that is SUPER tight, but my current best time with it is 10.3 (4.4 faster than my other route pb) but it’s also pixel perfect pearl aiming and just hard.

You can’t swap stonk it really, blocks regen too fast on my ping :sob: it’s also so many dang blocks up there
One of my variations of old trap had me ghost pick too, because it was 7+2(I’ve never gotten these two successfully with item swaps)+7 in like 5 seconds

Just how much did you need to practice that pearl up and turn and click the chest in new trap? I can get it once in a great while but it's so hard to get exactly the right turn and angle.
Honestly I just practiced a way way way harder pearl for like an hour til this felt easy, but you can also just air jump it

hey fow unrelated but do you know why sometimes when i'm swap stonking (i think that's the term) the block just sometimes doesn't break on the first try? like idk if i'm just missing the timing but it just doesn't get ghost block'd the first time.
It’s mostly you missing timing from not being in the rhythm

It’s the newest beta of that matters, but I swore it was the default to be full block

Beta build of Odin you can find on GitHub, I’m removing them from mine soon but they’re nice for building memory but not good for long term

thank god i stopped playing the game, with 220 ping these routes are impossible
Actually most of them are easier on 220 p.p

Is all that time in trap worth it? I think 2/4, is just so much faster
2/4 is 6~ 3/4 can be 8~ 4/4 tac route (not in vid) is 10.7ish, and 4/4 in vid can be about 12~

at 0:54 how did you break the block behind the leaves i cant reach it unless i jump
ok i went into vanilla and it works now so i guess there is a mod that is making my reach slightly shorter for some reason and honestly if it werent for the new routes i would have never found out i will be looking for what mod is doing this and try to do a bug report or something but if its a popular mod ill list it here for others to see
It’s a pretty hard angle to hit
I’m gonna bet it’s a 1.12 type mod that adjusts your visual crouching height a bit more

How do I avoid getting stuck in a wall and suffocating to death
It sometimes happens, i found that if you install odin (legit) the leap menu doesnt get closed on damage tick so you can leap off suffocating if things go south
Afaik it’s not damage tick that closes that, it’s lag back that does that
Try to walk through as few blocks as possible

@@oogaooga0000 outside of walking through as few blocks as possible to not get watchdogged, no, it consistent never happens for me, it’s all about managing the blocks you walk into
