They're trying to downplay her company's value so they can snap their share up at a discount. I think 20% was more reasonable, 25% was totally a discount given she said that her business doubled to $2mil, should've been 500k value at least. Old lady should've come in after this year's earnings has been totaled, so she could say for certain what her value is, gave them too much leeway to offer discount prices. Then again I don't think she minded having 25% taken given this is something she did in her spare time.

Here's what happened after this episode:
The deal with Simson did not happen, as Holten changed her mind and decided to continue going it alone. Without Shark Tank help, she grew the business on her own terms, keeping the product an artisanal one.
After the exposure on Shark Tank, Strange Grains rocketed and Holten moved to bigger premises to increase production; they do retail and wholesale, selling out frequently due to high demand.

The brand's commercial success alone isn't necessarily the sole priority. If it were me, I'd rather prioritize supermarket distribution over maintaining some "artisanal" vibe/aesthetic, because there's a real meaningful mission in making sensitivity-friendly foods widely accessible to people who need them.
Also I'm really averse to anything pretentious, and to me, a million-dollar brand trying to maintain the "artisanal" vibe is just pretentious as hell. Like you're definitely mass producing at that point, so just own it, y'know?

The fact is that BTC symbolises the future of cryptocurrency, and traders are wondering if now is the best moment to trade, I feel you should examine the situation more closely before jumping to any conclusions. BTC's price has been fluctuating over the previous few days, signalling that the market has become unstable and that it is impossible to anticipate whether it will go bearish or bullish. Others are patient, while others continue to trade with no risk. It all depends on the pattern you're trading and the source of your signals; for instance, I get my signals from Eric Birger, my personal trade adviser, and I've acquired more than Ten BTC coins so far.

This has to be the most lucrative and fair deal I’ve seen. She set a really fair price for the sharks only for them to turn her down😂

I hope she had someone trustable in the family, who wouldn't rip her off, but do all running around for her for a share of the business, while she could just concentrate on decision making (which she's clearly good at). That way the product could remain Artisan and maintain its quality while still making loads of money.

This Granny is amazing and hilarious.
Imagine you are just so bored being retired, so you start baking bread, start making a business to not be bored anymore.
Without prior knowledge you scaled the business doing millions and have no debt at all.
She just wanted to not be bored anymore and now makes a huge profit out of it and does not even fully realize how good she is doing it.
Amazing business story and glad to see it grew even bigger, hopefully with not too much extra work for her though.

Dude, bread and dough/pastry making is literally a science lol. To deviate from a traditional recipe would be a lot of trial and error. It’s not as simple as it seems especially when you try to make alternate versions.
