Couldn’t you just get better range troop to go with the pulse trooper like sniper? I don’t know if you could do it in the 8th mission, but it seem to me that the pulse are a front line unite that is supposed to be supported with longer range troop.

and they still haven't added skirmsh mode. I'm just playing the game to clear my mind for 10 minutes. editor mode takes me hours.
