This is definitely one of the best Mario Kart songs out there. This is a very controversial statement, and less than obvious songs like Coconut Mall and Rainbow Road (MK7). I could write a whole paragraph about how good this song is, so here I go. First of all, this has got to be the catchiest song in all of Mario Kart Double Dash, with its only real contender being Yoshi Circuit. Second of all, the instrument blending is great. Hearing the banjo, whistling, and other instruments all in one note really gives off the holiday vibe that this track is meant to convey. In fact, the track feels like you're driving around at a winter festival, which the music almost perfectly maintains that feeling the whole time. This is also so much better than the MK8 version, it just has this indescribable feel that no other Mario Kart song has. This just makes me want to get nice and cozy, take a sip of hot cocoa, and listen to this song for hours on end. This song needs to be more appreciated.
Disagree. The Switch re-make theme is far more Epic in feel. They've slowed the tempo a little but added a lot of bass that simply sounds magical with the beat & the jingles. 🎵 There's a reason why that particular theme is one if not _the_ most popular themes in all of gaming let alone just Mario Kart.

For me, the slightly decreased tempo & bass does _exactly_ what you say ironically enough. But it also just sounds more catchy and joyful - and the jingles just cap off making it all so lively and cheerful.
@@netweed09 ofc it is, also that's just subjective opinion and i never said the rework isn't good ..objectively the remake is way better just in terms of quality and makeup, but i just prefer the original, as it's not only a childhood memory but also has, like i said, this dampness from the low quality in it, which makes it overall more cozy, as the winter wonderland-track it is.. it's a little more vibey speaking of the coziness
Most underrated Double Dash track: Sherbet Land, it's not that bad of a track or even that difficult and the freezeys aren't that hard to avoid Most Overrated Double Dash track: Baby Park, the item kaos is only a factor 10% of the time. 9 times out of 10 races that track are boring as hell.

Bruh baby park is so easy to even race in. I like sherbet land, but understand how difficult it is to maneuver despite how slippery and that’s challenging even for me as a kid that I found how to rhythm the course.
