Thank you so much for those kind words! I must admit you can buy amaryllis bulbs here in Newfoundland for a little less. About $10 would be the lowest price available but they are usually smaller bulbs without a lot of selection. This year, I decided to splurge and see what was available at higher prices. The more expensive ones have been incredibly impressive so far! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment - that’s greatly appreciated!
Hi 👋 what amazing amaryllis, I’m gonna buy myself the double delicious next year for sure 👍 the other red amaryllis cherry nymph I also have and it’s on its second blom stalk soon ❤ I love amaryllis and hyacinths for Christmas 🎄 You have a beautiful home! It seems like you have many other gorgeous houseplants I saw a glimpse of Christmas cacti 😉 greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪 😊
Hello Sweden! Thank you for watching and making such a lovely comment! 😊 You will definitely NOT be disappointed with ‘Double Delicious.’ I also love hyacinths but their scent bothers my husband so I only grow them in the garden. I am so glad you like my home, I try to make sure it is welcoming. The plant you can easily see in the background is a cyclamen and that one was a recent gift. You might have spotted a Christmas cactus as well. I have two, one is really large and is over 30 years old and I have a smaller one that I grew from its cuttings. I also love orchids and coleuses! All the best from Gander, Newfoundland, Canada! 🇨🇦
@ wow that’s amazing, what a fun way to chat with nice people across the world isn’t it? You should make a video on how you take care of your holiday cacti, I love such content! Thank you for your reply and I wish a happy new year 🎆
@@matildamagnusson4120 Thank you so much! That’s a great idea… I will be getting some cuttings from a different Christmas cactus soon, perhaps I will share my process from cuttings to a decades-old plant. Happy 2025, hope it’s a great year for you! 🎉
Beautiful, so many blooms all at once over the last couple of weeks.
Thank you for your comment and for watching! Yes, I really splurged on amaryllis bulbs this year! 😀
Beautiful Amaryllis . Your house and backdrop is gorgeous. Where we live , Amaryllis don't cost near as much as those prices . Thanks for your video.
