The Local Goat restaurant. Everything is handmade fresh daily, and locally grown. "Everything" we tried tasted awesome! The "Local Goat" always comes up whenever we mention our vacation at Pigeon Forge.
Thank you for the time spent compiling this information. Must have been a bad night when we tried The Alamo because four of us agreed we would never go back. It was terrible but everyone is entitled to their own opinions and I appreciate your input.
Thanks for watching! We have experienced and heard only good things about the Alamo, but every restaurant can have an off night it seems. Sorry your experience was not a good one :(
This is precisely what i was looking for. Im from the UK and visiting the area in a couple of months so im looking to get a feel for the area. Looks like im spoilt for choice. Update: So I visited Pigeon Forge in April and without realising it, I visited the #1 restaurant on this list. And I have to say I can understand why it's up there. Great service and hospitality, amazing food (I had the country fried chicken) and amazingly we didn't have to wait very long at all to get a table. A very pleasant experience.
So many great restaurants there makes me never want to leave. I'm already overweight if I lived there, I'd be 500 + pounds in not time LOL. I just wish there was at least a few of these great tasting restaurants around my hometown of Winter Haven FL. Left out a couple of my favorites The AppleBarn & all you can eat Crab Legs restaurant (I forget the name).
Sorry, No disrespect meant here at all, but some of your rankings seem a bit off. The Old Mill hasn't been nowhere near #1 for about 5 years now. (steep decline unless they have improved again since last summer.) There in ZERO chance Timber Wood is higher on any list than The Alamo. There also is no way Mellow Mushroom Pizza is better than Big Daddy's. (Big daddy wins this one on Spinach Dip Alone) It is all up to individual taste I guess though. I do appreciate the video and gave ya a like!
Thanks! Totally get it. It's difficult to rank so many great restaurants, and personal preference plays a HUGE role. I think our writer has a very special place in his heart for Mellow Mushroom, who was great to his kid that has several food sensitivities and allergies. And last time we went to Old Mill it was fantastic! But the same place can be different depending on when you go - so it's all very tricky and subjective. Appreciate your input!
@@TheSmokiesCom I tried the Mellow Mushroom last time I was there. I've had better Pizza for sure & the price was a bit high. It was nice trying something new & different, but don't think I'll be going back. Also tried the Old Mill & Paul Deen's not bad, but far from my favorite. Mama's is definitely one of my favorites, loved the fried chicken & the desert.
Would have added Smokies Cuban Cafe. The Cuban is the king of sandwiches IMO and theirs is great. Calhoun's a little higher. Definitely not Old Mill at the top. Good list, though. Will be trying out some new places.
Always eat at the Old Mill when I go to Pigion Forge, have for years, my favorite until this last time. The corn chowder tasted burnt, pot roast not good and pecan pie didn't see one pecan , all for 75 dollar meal. Very disappointed ❤
That’s nice. Stand up to your Mayor so a lot of us tourist can come enjoy your beautiful town. Make your mayor aWARE that your town is being boycotted because of what was done to the Race family. Sad
Lil Bear is a tital disappointment & having them in your top 10 shoots yoyr credibility totally. Old Mill & Pottery House are where they should be but Blue Moose and Local Goat are way too low. Nk argument on the list (except Lil Bear) but your rankings are way off, in our opinion.

Love the Goat..its so busy now its hard too get a table!! Only complaint..parking lot is tough!! All uphill..highly recommend!!
I can't believe you left out The Apple Barn!

We have been to Pidgeon Forge many times. Cockeysville BBQ, The Farmhouse.

Wood Grill Buffet tops the list for me, so many choices, good pricing and great staff.

Apple Barn is in Sevierville.
how much for the crab legs?
Mamma farmhouse if you like the taste of stuff out of a can. Yum just like mama use to make out of a can quick and easy.
We loved 5 Oaks Restaurant!
It's in Sevierville, not Pigeon Forge.

@@TheSmokiesCom Wow you didnt take that personal! Thank you! It really was not meant to be :) I have now Subbed as well
Love Big Daddy’s pizza ❤

@@billybob-ro6qf Mama's is great - thanks for your feedback!
Does Gatlinburg count? Years ago I was impressed by the Peddler Steak House.
The Peddler is great! We have another list for Gatlinburg: ua-cam.com/video/RraGWA9bhcs/v-deo.html
I would put The Local Goat #1 and Guy Fieris Flavortown would be #2. We were shocked at how good Flavortown was.
Glad you enjoyed! It definitely has some unique flavors

I heard Johnny Carneeno's is a great spot.
Thank you
You're killing me with this list, no five oaks farmhouse?? They even have an online wait-list making it so convenient!
That's on our Sevierville list! :) Five Oaks is great
Where's Mels Diner?

❤
I am a cab driver and one day i picked up the owner of Harpoon Harrys up from the airport
Applebarn is also a great place!
I noticed you left out Bennets.
It's on the Gatlinburg list!

Local goat had cold food. I had a better dinner later at Dennys.
Bullfish grill is not a chain.
Paula Dean's #24 😂😂😂
It's clear these restaurants paid for this promo. SO many other better and great places to eat, than these.
Did u drink a lot of moonshine while doing this
Mel’s diner
Elviras
Paula Deans was terrible. I skip all pancake places.

Old mill #1, what a joke!!!!
...sorry, no pigeon forge for me...am allergic to tyrant run towns...
