hi po! do you have any advice for first time renters as a university student in manila, about how to negotiate prices? and what's the average price normally for renting in manila? cause I'm not sure whether my budget would be okay or not as a first time renter.
hello! prices in manila especially walkable distance to the campus can range from 14-19k+! Really depends on how new the building is, location, & type of furnish. i suggest you look for condo's near your campus and research the price range for the unit you'd like! there are also groups of condo sharing units, where you have roommates and split on the total rent cost if youre open to that! as for negotiating, its different per person and per unit, so definitely research! and long term rentals are usually cheaper by the month than short term rentals 🤍

I have a window in my bathroom but I never open it for the fear of mosquitoes flying in 😂 but totally understand your reasoning! I got a second fan installed so that all moisture goes away, because I’m also quite concerned it feeling stuffy if there’s not enough air circulating.
