    Can someone set up a new service business venture there for rental property top management? A group of "managers" that will assist both owners & renters in all avenues related to this venture - from pricing, staging, moving to fixing things, setting up services & furnitures, cleaning, pest control, pet services, etc. Managers can then delegate to appropriate necessary dedicated workers/laborers. Top calibre service that pays itself back because it would address all the worries of foreign/local investors & visitors (tourist or business.) It would add to the economy and give work & training to some locals. This would also make the moving-to-the-Philippines experience as an upgrade and seamless.

    I currently live in Makati but it seems to me that the best place to live (Manila ) is in the Landmark/Galleria mall area. Your thoughts?

    Hoping I can live like a king in Manila. My VA/SSD is $5,500 USD a month. Or should I look somewhere cheaper for the good life?

    Is it possible to store your stuff in Manila? My dream is to travel as a minimalist for at least a year, while storing my "junk" (read: books, tax information, pictures, winter jacket, additional clothes, etc.) in storage. Then after a year of travel to get my stuff and settle. Of course, living as a minimalist I would only rent furnished apts and hopefully live in only two suitcases.
    Can you answer if finding storage in Manila difficult or expensive? Something you may want to mention in future postings.

      Hi Jon they have many decent storage facilities all over Manila and in fact I’m also using one called Loc and Stor - which has many locations and their customer service has been good

    Hi, I'm a older Asian retired man in NYC, thinking about moving to Manila alone, I was told you can't buy any house because your not from Philippine, you have to buy in someone else name from the area, is that right? I'm looking for a place with walking distance to the super market, drug store ( like Walgreen, Rite Aid, etc...). Is 2000.00 USD a month give me a good living?

    • @itsJustinSpencer
      @itsJustinSpencer  Рік тому

      Hi George, $2,000/month converts to just over 100,000 pesos and is still a strong budget for Manila in 2023. There are many good places that are in walking distance of malls and pharmacies. Here they have “mercury drug” and “Watsons” as the too two. Rockwell, BGC and Eastwood city are just a few options that come to mind.

    Avoid jazz residence Makati. Cockroaches, mold, run down, slow elevators, over priced and falling apart.

  • @DannyVega-DanielHall4Freedom

    I would prefer you just stick to the details of and not get into all the philosophy about buying long-term and all the other garbage just do what the condos do.

  • @DannyVega-DanielHall4Freedom

    I'm not interested in camping.
