It is so bizarre to me that Americans do not seem to realise that all of these cadbury chocolates have the SAME chocolate in them. It's just different textures, not flavours.

Actually, while American may have "Cadbury" as a brand, Hershey are licensed to make it in the US and their licence allows them to 'tweak' the recipe.
The main difference between the two nation's chocolate is that the US has a higher sugar level and the UK has more fat and a higher concentration of cocoa. Also a lot of American chocolate, particularly Hershey, contains Butyric Acid, which is found in "rancid butter, parmesan cheese and vomit" and is the main contributor to the smell of vomit and the "sweetish aftertaste". This is why a lot of Brits hold the opinion that American chocolate tastes like vomit or cheesy.

The reason those chocolates are coloured purple is because it is the colour of the Cadbury brand.
Try: penguins, Smarties, kinder Buenos, kinder happy hippos, KitKat, terrys chocolate orange, milkybar, magic stars, minstrels, crunch bar, crunchie, bournville, revels, which are all chocolate,,, chocolate digestives, bourbons, custard creams, Maryland cookies, and rich team's which are all biscuits,,, and wotsits, quavers, the two other flavours of monster munch which are flamin' hit and roast beef, pombears, these are crisps. These are all of the top of my head and I don't know whether they're sold in the US or not xx

Here in America it's not customary to have bottles of fruit syrup that you have to dilute like in other parts of the world, it is typical to drink things as is, no mixing involved. I guarantee nearly every American would open it and try it straight unless they've traveled abroad and seen these these types of drinks before. And although it may taste too strong to us, how do we know that it's not intended to be that way? It wouldn't occur to us that a bottle of juice had instructions before drinking, so we prob wouldn't discover that it needed diluting unless we read the bottle (which most likely wouldn't occur to us either). There are a number of things that Europeans eat and drink that a great deal of Americans find unpalatable. It's not stupidity, we're not accustomed to that here, ffs.

It's miles behind 1st place *Mars* which owns the *Galaxy* sub-brand, and 2nd place *Nestle* who do way better chocolate.
I’ve only ever tried Hershey’s kisses and they literally taste like sick, Cadbury’s is so good in comparison

Hershey's chocolate has an aftertaste of sick genuinely. British chocolate is sooo much better
I did see somewhere it’s the process Hershey’s do with their milk called controlled lipolysis. This breaks down the fatty acids in the milk and produces butyric acid - the chemical that gives vomit its very distinctive smell and acrid taste 🤢 glad we don’t see it over here much apart from in the 2ft “American” section at the end of a random aisle in Tesco! 🙈🤣
A lot of it is purple because it’s all Cadbury’s pretty much.

Definitely one of the best UK taste tests, everyone else has ‘uk’ things I’ve never even seen 😂 also I love the variety and the bites you guys actually tried - didn’t just lick it or take an ant sized piece! Oh and “biscuits” in the uk, are our equivalent of cookies. We use the term “cookie” exclusively for the choc chip variety. Everything else is a biscuit! American biscuits are savoury scones in our land! 🙂 and digestive biscuits are solely used to dip in to our very British tea until they go soggy!

Each of the Cadburys bars are purple coloured on the wrappers because that is their trademark that people know it is by them.. like their milk chocolate bars have wrapping paper which is purple. Of course Cadburys are now owned by a American Billionaire ( he also brought Heinz soups & the Dutch brand Kraft who do cheese products ) who has started to change the way the chocolates are looking and taste Much to the UK fans Upset of the once world famous British chocolate brand and also changing the types of Heinz soups too. The caramel you eaten in the Cadburys bars is in fact a fudge which is a British long known type of bar filling? Maybe it be best to have a small drink of water between each tasting as human taste buds need to have a clearness to fully taste the different tastes?
yeah and boy has the taste of some of the products gone down since only thing i still like is the flake ,heinz vegetable soup used to be a fav in our house its rank now , we buy another brand
Another thing I seen now.. is since the Heinz was taken over, apart from all these new flavours of soup he did which not allot of us liked.. is also now there is now Garlic salt in my old favourite cream of chicken soup from Heinz, I now can't eat that one since I can't have Garlic.. So he really has ruined them all. Even the famous Cadbury cream egg has been made smaller and the taste been changed? Much to the upset of the followers of this sweet. He really needed to look what was what and left them as they were made since that is why people buy them? They expect them to be the same. But there you are he seems not to care about this.
