What cultivar of black berries do you use and are they very productive? I’m trying to find good berry plants for central Florida. Thank you

We have four different varieties, all of which are thornless erect blackberries. The varieties are Navaho, Arapaho, Ouachita and Prime-Ark Traveler. They all have slightly different fruiting times, as we wanted to try to get a constant flow of fresh berries all season if possible. So far, they've all done really well and produced far better than I initially thought they would the first year. The Prime-Ark Traveler seems to be the healthiest, with clearly the fastest growth and the most foliage. However, it's also the lowest producer so far. I expect that it will even out next year, as it is reported to fruit more the second year.
Regarding overall health here, they do well as long as they can be kept off the ground. As with most vine/cane plants, they need good airflow to dry out in order to avoid fungus and molds. Our next video will be about replacing this trellis with a better one to help with that. Thanks for watching!

May I ask, what kind of berries do you recommend to grow here in Florida? Thank you very much for your help 🙏❤️

The best berries for Florida are Blackberries, Huckleberries, Mulberries, Surinam Cherries and Barbados Cherry. Although certain variety of each berries do better than others. Some are more sensitive to cold.. Check out the University of Florida for more information.
For example here is what UF recommends for blackberries:
"Varieties that do well in North and Northcentral Florida include Apache, Arapaho, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Ouachita, and Kiowa. South Florida gardeners can try Southern and Rosborough varieties."

@@AnoleGarden So kind of you, I will check and see what I can grow on my zone 10b (I believe) for west Boca. I'd like to get some like yours, thornless, and also not the ones that spread with runners, more like the clumping kind. Again, I appreciate your posts and will continue to watch and support your efforts. I'll always give you 👍 for sure!! ❤️ Blessings your way 🙏
