CORRECTIONS: 51:53 - The Crawler's attack has a minimum range of 2, so it wouldn't move to be next to a player figure in this case so that it could correctly attack.
What a fun little game! If I'm understanding correctly, at the end when Anjou was next to the crawler, the crawler would have had to move away from her since its minimum range is 2.
Great playthrough! Thanks! I am intrigued by this one. Question, though, at 51:51 should the monster have moved one less? The blue cube is only 1 away, but the attack range is 2 to 4?
It’s cool, but what I don’t like much in these games is that they’re for the 90% tied to luck. But, being simple and quick, I’ve no idea about how to improve that aspect (maybe adding some small modifiers here and there given by experience, or something similar).
Fate Dice. Roll one D20 for each character and companion in the party. Place those dice nearby, Those dice with the numbers rolled can be used throughout the battle. You can replace a roll of any character or companion or a monster. Once used the Fate Die is removed from the game. This way, a high roll is just as valuable as a low roll. Fate intervenes to aid the party.
@@JonGetsGames Thanks for the clarification - and for the video once again. It got me convinced that I'd like this series of games! I really hope they will find a distributor over here in Europe. Tried to get the older entries and even found them, but shipping prices are absolutely ridiculous ATM. 😲(Game 18$ + fees 50$+)
At 40:05 you rolled the seismic event. It says that all characters take 1 damage, The monster Zorne doesn't take a point of damage, as it's not a character. Ermine isn't a character either it's a side kick.
The designer checked the video and didn't mention that this was incorrect, so I think the side kick is considered to be a character. It's possible this was missed by the designer though.
In first and the second game monster didn't take damage from the stage event. This line has in the rules. (I think we can explain it, that monster in a natural comfortable environment for them, so they know how to avoid stage events, where to hide and etc.)

Dalia definitely rolled a 5 at 10:29 that got bumped to an 18 - I love it 😂
Woops! I cheat with dice rolls in tutorials all the time, but I think this was an honest accidental bump.

Another wonderful video. Such clear game play. Thanks again

Good catch, I've added a correction to the video. Glad you enjoyed it :)

Yep, great catch I did miss that, unfortunately. I'm glad you enjoyed the video, I've added a correction about this.
Jon didn’t you incorrectly attack Anjou with the crawler as that character was adjacent to the enemy, while their attack can hit from 2-4 spaces away?
Unfortunately, yes I did miss that. Thanks for pointing it out, I've added a correction to the video's subtitles.

Thanks for the video. If it's ok, I just wondered: Can the Crawler attack thru walls AND directly adjacent characters? 🤔
No, I mistakenly had them attack from an adjacent location. I added a correction about this to this video.

at 55min in, when you roll the stage event 20, wont the crawler also lose 1 health?
nevermind, the card says character not monster or creature.
