Guys your biggest miss here was talking about the soft/hard credit hits
Good points if you keep shopping for lenders wouldnt you keep getting hard inquiries on your credit?
@@geminitalkpodcast565you usually have a certain window of time where multiple credit checks will only count as 1 inquiry. For example, we had I believe 30 days from our first inquiry to go shop lenders
Per CFPB you have a 45 day window to shop mortgage lenders as many times as you want and there will only be ONE inquiry attached to your credit score.
great video, thank you !
THANK YOU! We're glad you found it valuable.
Very helpful!
Glad you thought so. Thanks for the support!
15:11 - "8 times out of 10 Box A is empty. There is nothing in Box A?" If that is the case how are YOU getting paid for your services? Where is that show n the LE? Thanks!
The loan officer is getting paid by the lender if there is no charge in Box A. Ask yourself this question: If the loan officer got paid $100,000 for your loan but you got a 1% fixed rate with no fees in Box A, would you care what they made or how it was paid or would you be happy you got a great deal? The loan estimate is for comparing terms among lenders and for setting tolerances for what can change so you can know pretty certainly what to expect at closing.
