Glenn Schick, has worked on many Grammy-Award winning records. He is famous for his work on tracks in Dirty South, Trap, Hip-Hop and Pop, including work for T.I, 2 Chainz, Justin Bieber, Phoebe Bridgers and Noel Gallagher. He is a great example of a mastering engineer who masters world class masters using only plugins and headphones.

As far as I can tell, this is basically parallel processing between upward compression/ downward compression/ dynamic EQ / transient shaping all in one. Not too unique. The Swiss army knife utility trend between different engineer's workflow is ever growing. The question is: how is the quality behind the modules? (I bought Scheps 'all in one' and it's... okay. So I'm hesitant with these.). Does the compression sound as good your favorite compressor? Most likely this compressor is neutral as possible. So if you want that 1176 or SSL crunch, you're still going to reach for them on individual channels, etc. None the less... these tools can be helpful. No question... I would like to see Dan take a look. "Hi... and welcome back." 🫣

We literally can't see how powerful it is because you don't stop talking over your before and after examples. Please make sure this is NOT done in future when trying to showcase products. It drives me absolutely insane. I'm trying to simply see what it sounds like before activating, and after activating. But all I hear is this guy talking talking talking talking all the time even when he's trying to show a before and after. Whats the point of that? it's so infuriating.

That was exactly what i was thinking. One of the worst demonstrations i have seen. Had to stop after 4 minutes. And the advice to demo the plugin from PA is laughable. Make a video that demonstrates the workflow in a consistent form and show the audible quality and functioning of the plugin or leave it. This video doesn't help selling your product.
I also stopped at 4 minutes, because of his talking, not letting us to hear the results made by this plugin

Just wish video's like this used real live music with dynamic melodic vocals so you can truly hear what the plugin can do with sophisticated material.
Agreed. As an interested recording musician, I still have no clue how SCULPT affects elements of relevance to my work. The audio project used for the demonstration is so mind-numbing and distracting that I can't focus on what the legendary mastering engineer is saying in the video. Glad I don't have his job!
Agree. This is his genre for which he's done great work. (Minimal parts that can give lots of space for super easy carving). I'm personally interested in a more complex application like soundtracks and classical myself. Have you bought this yet? If so... do you like it?
I actually like Glenn's selection over some metal and punk selections from some other presenters.
Although it is mostly electronic with voice, at least his selection has 808 Bass and digital hi hats with voice to get a reference with . . . Yet I record mostly acoustic percussion and instruments . . . So, it is really refreshing to watch Heron Island Studios and Maria Elisa Ayerrbe , Both doing separate Kirchhoff EQ review videos . . . Both of their videos are refreshing, because they are working on Live Acoustic musical performances . . . While I Love the Artistry and performances of Digital Hip Hop Artists , I am an Acoustic Percussionist, myself , and so the Dynamic Sublteties and Nuances are extremely important to me . . . How is the Tonality of the transients being affected, ect . . . Anyway, I Love Glenn's Work, and he has definitely got me into the Ballpark of this plugin, and it's Realm . . . My interest is definitely peaked, and I will open it up and see what it does for My source material.

Agreed. Really interested in this plugin and will demo it, but too many videos are using basic layered rap trap music as a music bed. It's dull IMO TBH.

Love this tool! Can someone help me understand how to deal with the massive delay this plugin introduces? Was having issues using on a send and delaying the audio down the line.

@@sergeyleps8492 Please update your plugin to make sure you have the latest version and note that you will have to bypass the ADPTR Audio Sculpt from within the plugin GUI, not from your host DAW to avoid an audible lag.

This plugin fundamentally introduces a large amount of latency to do the advanced envelope detection it needs to do all this processing. You'll need a DAW that supports automatic plugin delay compensation to avoid phasing or timing issues.
Is this tool supposed to be clean? In use, it seems to generate distortion. Is it correct ?

This looks really cool and powerful, and I gave it a try, but to be honest I couldn't get past all the popups all over the frikin' place driving me nuts. Totally distracting. Even with the larger "hints" turned off, there remaining crap is just too distracting.

He said it’s not an eq and won’t act like one. Then he immediately boosted then cut the bass. Or is it seriously just me????
he explained this but its not eqing the signal you hear, it’s eqing what the compressor reacts to. for example, pushing up a bump at 7k in the downward compressor will help de-ess the track
