    A new, first-of-its-kind study in PLOS ONE today discusses sports dads, stage moms, and confirms a popular psychological theory - parents live vicariously through the achievements of their children and in fact, desire their children to fulfill their own unrealized ambitions.

    Thanks Sudha Aunty for your inspiration. Essence of life which I have understood. Please correct me if am not.
    - You do 1000000000000000000000000000 things and do only one and ONLY ONE mistake due to so many factors.
    Everyone sees that ONE mistake that you didn't do you don't know how to communicate, and you doesn't know how to work or take care of home and have headweight after you joined the job.
    No one understands mom's feelings.
    Still mom is ready to learn the new ways and finally, I learnt
    - do whatever you like
    - zero expectations
    - 10000 critics and saying I am wrong
    - finally, I came to know best communication skills is MOUNAVRATHAM and stay in corner room at home all the time talking to urself inside voice only.

    Being a mother, wife, daughter in law an employee or employer, is The toughest job now, one may have great dream before marriage or can advise to our parents, and relatives.
    After marriage, playing these roles, it is like playing in the cricket field, without having any knowledge. We are trapped. Madam s these advises help parents to avoid making more mistakes. This is for every mother faces lot of mistakes while bringing their children. Nobody perfect about their words with their kids. Some follow their child's friend mother or competition with in their family. Only after the children are grown, we learn. I have done lot of mistakes as a mother like comparing. It is ofcourse unknowingly. Comparing is a sin which can never be forgiven by anyone. We do not know how to speak positively. School pressure is more.

I m in my late 30s though I'm working but still educating myself with online courses.. parents Continue your ambition and learn new aspects. Don't set boundaries for education with age. Education is independent factor irrespective of the age. If parent haven't done any higher education they impose that on children. Parents - Get out of boundaries and achieve even if u reach that in age 50.

But I always told child to learn things, whatever we had learnt is like the thing inside our palms but many things to learn. Bcos each and everyone learn in life. But take it positive God is giving chance and we have to use it. Participating in competitions improve ur self confidence, especially erase ur stage fear. My kid goes for Elocution and wins it. No frequent practise of it. But I made the child understand what we try to convey to the society. The child started giving expressions and Judges were surprised.

    I wrote poetries in my school days...my mother saw that and she itself judged that I may be in love... when I was searching for my poetry note one day I can't find it...I was so upset I felt like I lost some part of me...I was also can't ask to my mother about it because she was not that friendly with me....one day I witnessed the ashes of my poetry in the area where we burn woods for hot water...my mother burnt my poetries...if she would have appreciated my poetries and acknowledged my talent for that...I would have been someone else today...it is very important for parents to acknowledge their child's talent towards any art apart from studies.... achievement of child is not only related with marks...hard thing is most of the parents think we brought up our child very happily we gave them good food studies money but still they can't realise these type of small appreciation matters lot!! And that is what a son or daughter excepts the most from their parents especially from mother....

      Understand your feelings perfectly well. Some parents do such things out of their lack of experience and knowledge. All that we can do now is move on and forgive her for this one mistake she committed out of her ignorance.She might have surely done many more good things as well. You can start working on your poetry and bring it to even greater heights. And we will never be doing the same thing to the next generation. Hope the deal is not as bad as you thought ... Good luck!!!!

    It is very easy to preach.. You need to study well unless you are
    1) from a rich family
    2) you have influencial people
    3) you have reservation
    Every one mark is important.
    Imagine you are writing a competitive exam. You got 68 marks. Cut off was 70. Then only we realise value of each mark.

    • @vigneshbvs6357
      @vigneshbvs6357 2 роки тому +7

      Those who got average marks in school days only succeed lot in competitive exams....it is totally different approach towards exam when u are child and adult...look around the friends u thought below average would be in banking sectors would be studying in IITs would be a PSU guy.. because when u are adult our approach changes we study with understanding not mugging up...rather than concentrating on marks if parents insist about understand and study the things that would help lot... because in our state boards the boy or girl who mug up will beat the student who understands and study the things in Exams....so don't compare the schooling with the competitive exams...

      Parents and education system both should concentrate more on child ‘s growth and interest rather than marks . Junior classes marks and grades are not needed they should be taught in experimental way .

      Our education system is flawed but as parents we shouldn't, the only thing she is saying is to open up your child's eye to the subject instead of mugging up,I teach in a academy where we conduct competitive exams and honestly I feel we are creating bookish nerds who cannot deal with practical problems or issues. So please approach the following video from that angle.

      Few students can't get more than pass mark or 50 percent. It may be beyond their own capacity and interest. So parents should understand their other area of interest and encourage. Sudha madam wants to convey this.

Your idea of parenting is really essential now a days NOT to PRESSURISE kids for marks or ranks .Instead encourage them at their interest . Ma'am very well said life needs thali that includes money as well. So parenting should guide the kids for a complete life. 🙏

    With all due respect, Infosys recruits students who only get distinction. So, marks are important according to Infosys.

      But not everyone can become an engineer or doctor. Marks are important but everyone has their own capabilities and interests. I had a friend in my school who was good at everything other than mathematics. But society thought she was not good at all. She is doing very well in her field now. But at that time I am pretty sure she felt that she was no good at all. That is what leads to depression and sometimes suicide. What is worse is that I have observed parents who are not themselves very intelligent want their kids to be geniuses… that is so unfair for the kids. Some introspection as parents is necessary

    • @padmapriyaprasad6996
      @padmapriyaprasad6996 2 роки тому

      Then let Infosys give opportunities to talented kids. Why have a cut off based on marks. My point is that. Marks cannot determine someone's capability. Infosys doesn't allow grads less than distinction to attend campus placement. Walk the talk is what am telling.

On a lighter note, when I shared this video with my friend, the feedback I got was, though she says this all, in her very own Infosys, the hiring criteria is minimum 70% for freshers even to qualify for a written test, that too right from 10th grade :) :)

    That's the biggest thing for many parents and specially many mother may they have a job or not, they seem to live their live through the kid. The children are individual person that they brought here. They have a right in life and a life to lead. Just cause they gave birth to us many dad and mums tend to use us a steering wheel. I have a cousin of mine. I never saw him being able to live,,,, or having any healthy scopes in life... his mum barely talks about how one is and casual talk but always keeps on talking about his grades but my goodness I've never seen this boy being happy with grades and stuff but his mum is just blind and dumb
