Personally I have always said that they should have kept all the memories from Half blood prince book because all of them are important to learn about Horcuxes, I hope the remake on HBO will have all of them .
Love your videos! Harry Potter's pretty special to me cuz I was suicidal while my father was dying from cancer and book 7 is what saved my life cuz I couldn't miss it. 😍😢😍
One change I'd love to see the show do that strays from the books would be Year 7 when Harry is going into the Forbidden Forest to let Voldy kill him. Using the Resurrection Stone I want Snape to have one last "redemption" moment where Harry can show he understands, and more importantly, Lily and James both thanking him for looking after Harry
What I love about the first scene inside the pensieve in the books is that Harry immediately grabs the fact that he is in a memory because of his experience with Tom Riddle's diary.
About the locket's worth. In 1926, the galleon and pound would have been worth more, holding more buying power. Assuming that the galleon equaled £5 as it did in 1997, then she received £1,736.76 for it. That's a lot of dosh, but I doubt it would have supported Merope for more than three months. It's according to where she stayed, at the Gaunt's home, which I doubt, or rented a room. By December, she was broke. The locket, though, should have been a priceless artifact, and I'm sure Mrs. Smith paid three to four times the price for it.
It's heavily implied that she was cheated in the sale. He gave her 5%-10% of the Locket's true value. And yes, like any crook, he then sold the Locket for 10X-40x the amount he paid to get it.
Couldn't have been easy, but I recall it being mentioned somewhere that the true memory was still there underneath the altered version (a bit like recording over something on a VHS tape; an expert can get the original recording back as it's still present).
I have a question…. Once a memory is viewed in the pensieve, can it be viewed again? Can the memory be retrieved out of the pensieve and stored again for future reference? Thank you!
Yes. It's referenced that Dumbledore was reviewing all the memories involving Voldemort and horcruxes that he showed Harry, and Snape stored his private memories in it before legilimency lessons with Harry, and puts them back afterwards.
Deathly hallows. Those movies were done very badly. If you only watched instead of read you missed alot of characters and plot twist that just simply didn't make it to the movies
@@rook9860 i just read the part where lily came out to confront snape after called her a mudblood. No reference to her making Snape choose. Do you have a page number??
@msrainbowbrite it wouldn't be that memory, it's another one where they're both walking and then stop by a headstone or something when she gives it to him. I can't remember the page number unfortunately as I'm not sure where my copy is
A predecessor is one who pre-deceased you. Dumbledore’s most recent predecessor was Armando Dippet. His successor was Snape and his, McGonnigal. Only a successor could learn from viewing their predecessors’ thoughts and memories.
I remember! Snape was actually a hero, when it all came to an end. Despite his behavior towards Harry and the others. And, he was a cool, black haired wizard! (He should be in a black metal band in his spare time)!🤟🤟🤟
I don’t the premise of this video. Every p single one of these is shown. If you are talking about ones that the movies never showed you should have retitled the name of this video. Clarity trumps all.
Shouldn't it be Karkarov instead of Karkaroff? That spelling is like from an american B movie about evil Soviet spies trying to destroy the free world...tbh
Welp, I sincerely hope fans enjoy the upcoming series, but I'll avoid it. They had EVERY opportunity to move the Wizarding World forward. If JK is burnt out of ideas, then let someone else write WW stories. But if JK is still full of ideas let her expand upon the WW. But instead, they chose to take the "safe route" which means retelling a story that was finished nearly two decades ago. Give up the license already WB.

I concur fellow potter lover.
Could not agree more.
Absolutely. Those memories are really important to the story.
Exactly, I must agree. I have also noticed, that fans of only the movies, sometimes don't understand so well, what's occuring and happening.

Woah, that's huge. Thank God for the books!
I hope they include Ludo Bagman and all the other missing characters
Yepah! He is a key struggle of the Wesley twins.

You fall into the trap of ruining.
Snape, unfortunately, was never supposed to get any kind of redemption, even though he wasn't completelt bad.

I have to say the voice is perfect for a Harry Potter channel. It is very fitting.
I will never get tired of that fantastic ending!! Great video, as always!
I wonder how they were able to get the true memory from Morphin gaunt as well as hokey the house elf if it was altered?

Woah ... When did Lily give Snape a choice "me or the deatheaters"??

Always amazing and so interesting. Thank you for your hard work xx
Harry saw Ludo Bagman's trial in the book as well. He was found not guilty and let go.
❤ Awesome as always thanks

Not in the books...the movies made him out to be that way but he was terrible in the books
Very good
What if Snape never told Voldomort about the prophecy.
We need a Voldemort prequel series!
Why does Snape have a dark mark if he's a half blood?
Voldemort himself is a half blood. They're just racist against muggles and muggle borns
Don’t forget, Voldemort himself was a half-blood. He had a muggle father, Tom Riddle.
😊🎉🦁

Some of these were shown
