Making a Ring from a Hex Nut

🔴 This time i made a ring, from a simple hex nut ! It has some amethyst, and gold leaf in it 😁 I've always loved the purple an gold combo, and this was an excuse to put it somewhere ! This is my first jewelry project, and i'm gonna make more of these to gain a new set of skills for my knifemaking journey. Stay tuned 😉

Hi what kind of glue do you use for the gems. Did you just use normal superglue?

Hi ! Yes, just regular cyanoacrylate glue. I saw someone doing it on youtube, i didn't believe it was strong enough, i tried, and it's extremely strong. My theory is that glueing something on a flat surface is a bit weak, but in that case it creates a full glue ring around the steel that acts like reinforced concrete with the gems in it

De la simple superglue (cyanoacrylate), j'ai vu d'autres personnes le fairze et j'y croyais moyen. Mais ça va super bien !
