K de, What Jets did you use? I am about ready to remove and overhaul my VT1100C carbs. I am going to buy a gasket set / kit and replace all deteriorated hoses / lines.
That's a good question, the jets I used are- front 180, 45 rear 182 45. And what I used to figure out those numbers was a website online, which is carbjetkits. Com. All they had my do was select my setup and they sent the appropriate jets, and shims
New to carburetors how the hell do I get mine to start …. I made sure to drain the tank … got a fresh battery have it on a battery charger… replaced with new fuel … lines are okay used som carb clean took the intake hoses off too … still can’t get it to start … it’s getting spark plugs are good too … bike is my in-laws he would use it and take car of it so I know it has to run
That step by step was super helpful. It’s easy to get lost in the cable and hoses.
Glad it was able to help you out, definitely not hard to get turned around with where things go
Thank you so much!!! Helped me a ton and got the carbs off fast! Wonderful video!!
No problem 👍 glad I can help
Had to do this on my 96 1100 when I first got it. It sat for about 4 years before I got it, those intake hoses are a pain to get back on lol
Lol yea they are.
I can well imagine how hard the rubber would of been after sitting for that long
Thanks!
Damn dude, thank you!!!!
@@motoalley Thank YOU!!

Is fuel getting to the bottom of the carbs? Pull the drain plugs and see if gas comes out
