Used them for the first time last week. Terminator unit rapid ingress deep struck in my deployment zone and then failed a charge in their turn. My doomstalker picked up three of them and left them exposed for my flayed ones to shamble in. Glorious moment charging in at full strength, getting the flesh hunger bonus and delivering all the wounds. The rest of the terminators torn to pieces. I may never cap that but it did feel great.
I’m going to use them in hypercrypt this weekend. Going to try to sit on two objectives with flayed ones and Wraithes, and scarabs. While deepstriking with hexmarks, and deathmarks. Scoring fixed secondaries behind enemy lines and engage in all fronts.
@@WorHammer40k played Orks, opponent called the Waagh turn two. Though I survived he made all his charges, was crippled to the point I was able to get my fixed secondaries ( behind enemy lines, engage on all fronts) all turns, but couldn’t get on the primaries. We played scorched earth and he was able to burn two objectives. I attempted a secret mission be on 3 objectives was only to maintain two. It was really close opponent played well and made the right moves to blocking what I needed to do to win. Orks are tough if they get you into melee.
My personal oppinion is that Deathmarks do a better job for 65 points and with deepstrike, they are really good at jumping around the battlefield and doing secondaries in Hypercrypt Legion detachment. Also they can shoot and snipe out weak characters with their damage 2 guns.
First time I used them, (and only so far because; THEY’RE FIDLEY!) I managed to keep them on an objective all game, then rinsed a bunch of Phobos units with them in the last two turns. No idea how I managed it or if I ever will again!
Loads, mate! Element games sell cheaper than GW. Play what you enjoy the look of on a small scale to get used to the game. Also, look on wahapedia.ru/ at the army detachments and start to build your list towards one of them :) Painting wise: Spray black Drybrush lead blecher silver Then nul oil all over They will look great with little effort.

🟣 If you haven't already you should really read both parts (but especially enjoy the 2nd Book) of The Twice Dead King, part 1 Ruin, part 2 Reign, by Nate Crowley ... no spoilers here, The Cursed of the Dynasty feature greatly. Bit of a cough there Jack, you okay mate? Inspired by the books my next Necron army will be based on the forces of King Oltyx, from the novel and I will absolutely be running 3 Units of 10 of these. They seem challenging, fun and scary AF. 😎 ... ... Simon
Amazing books, I have listened to them on audible, no spoilers but the way it happens and how it affects them is sad. Yes mate, just recovering from long term cold (y'know the one UA-cam hates mentioning)

@@hobbybro3902 that sounds tough
@ it was a good game dispute the loss.
@@hobbybro3902 that is the main thing! We know it's cheesy but if we have fun rolling dice we all win

I do like Deathmarks but they just don't mirror my play style! 100% worth for the points and that detachment choice :)
What a savage unit!! I had trouble building a standard necron model that my mate gave me, would snap one of these skinny buggers 😂
They are fiddly to build for sure! But can put out a lot of damage

Nice work! That's how we use em, too - grab an objective early, then if they don't die, go murder enemy infantry
GW sell 5 of them for 32.5 GBP and 10 warriors for 30 GBP. they are very expensive
Complete greed, mate. Look at picking them up cheaper on Ebay or element games if your in the UK. :)
