Amazing dogs for sure. Coincidentally, I just read an article in the WS Journal that a Belgian Malinois was used in the successful search and find of 4 children who were on a small plane that crashed in the Amazon jungle recently. Apparently the dog (“Wilson”) darted off into the wilderness after the rescue. He was last seen by soldiers last week. The soldiers said that despite being a dog Wilson is a commando, and a commando never leaves another behind. Say a prayer they find him!

This video was almost as much fun as your day at the pool with 150 retriever dogs. Anneka being savaged Maligators is priceless, yet through out the fun you managed to get an important message out again. How much work it is to be a responsible dog owner, and the need for dog owners to pick the right breed for themselves and their lifestyles. Not go with what is trendy and cool and looks good. Otherwise the dogs can end up in pretty bad situations and finish up in shelters or euthanized. Nice job as usual Anneka and Animal Watch!
I share your pain. 28 years with a phychopathic narcissist with her full repertoire of abuses like verbal abuse, mental and emotional abuse, physical abuse and financial abuse. They are very vindictive and destructive people. It drove me to the point of suicide and I was later saved by the police. I have always been physically strong, but today I'm mentally and physically strong. You are such a beautiful spirit, I dont know how anyone could treat you that way. Dogs are my love as well. Unconditional love. When I was going through depression, also after divorcing my ex, lots of dogs on walks with their owners would walk or run up to me and give me cuddles. I lost count of the number of owners who said to me "we have never seen our dog behave like this before with strangers". Dogs can sense "depression". I knew exactly what they giving me lots of love. Some people have to go to work throughout the day to pay their bills & feed the dogs ! Not everyone can sit home 24-7 or take their dog to work everyday & a dog should be 100% comfortable being home for a while. Especially if the dog is trained & has a "job" to do while the owner is working.. My wife's mostly home throughout the day. But, she also has a life & sometimes has to leave for a couple hour's. If she does, my dogs are guarding the house and property and are completely happy to be able to do their job! They also have each other to play with so they aren't "alone" .. There's also plenty of apps these days where you can monitor your home & dog and even speak to them if needed right from your phone !

My point was, Just because someone may have an actual job & need to work during the day or night, doesn't mean they CAN'T own a Mal or other working breeds... Mals themselves are SUPER trainable and depending where you get the dog & WHAT it was bred for, it could easily be a companion/house dog... I know a couple people who have them, work job's and the dogs completely fine while it's home. Because THEIR dogs, weren't specifically bred to be insanely high drive and anxious all day. I rescued a dog 5 weeks ago. He was about 8 weeks old, malnourished, dehydrated, anemic from the 1000's of fleas. He spent the night at the hospital, went to 2 vets and Ive been nursing him back to health ever since. He was mostly black, I was told his mother is a border collie but now hes 12ish weeks old with a black face, black legs and tail and a cool black stripe going down his back... hes a Malinois and border collie, I work 12 hour days. We are bonded so I need to find an activity we can do that will spark his brain and tire him out. I love the term Maligator... it fits!!
I really respect you for your bravery and kindness to talk about your difficulties and how you're dealing with them and pointing people to a direction for help.
I'm sorry to hear about your experiences Anneka, I can certainly relate after dealing with dark triad personalities for the last 6 work roles I've worked with and had to go to counseling for. Sadly these personalities are very well represented in upper level management of almost every company.
You look like you are suffering from cuteness over load. I think that is a good thing, but I have say my favorite video of yours is for the Newfoundland dogs and the puppies.♥
I am so sorry about your divorce. It is so emotionally taxing & you never really get over it. Time certainly heals all wounds, I guess, that's what they say. I wish you & your family all the best!! Great video, and incredible dog breed!
Beautiful and interesting video Anneka! Malinois are intelligent and strong dogs, infact they are used as police dogs in USA(K9),and they are capable of incredible feats. Thank you very much Anneka for your fantastic job!👍👍🔥
In the intro video the Mali left running before it even landed. I've had Dutch herders in the past and the acrobatics of these breeds also are amazing I remember the neighbours (who do not like dogs) screaming as I've ran outside I seen the dog just jumped the 8ft fence but it was balancing on the fence as if it was a acrobat on the tightrope. Which says alot as it could have easily jumped but decided to stay just the inquisitive side was too much it had to take a peak to see what was happening on the other side of the fence
If I were a breeder I would only sell to some one who has trained dogs previously, and understands the socialization needs of a working breed before getting a dog like this. They have very different needs than most breeds. People just see the end result, a dog flying through the air... They are very sensitive and need thorough training from early on. Your alarms and calendar will just be "puppy" to get the reward of what you see in vidoeos.
That’s ridiculously selective. If someone is home most of the time and wants to learn dog training they should get a chance. People who aren’t home a lot will never work with these dogs.
I train my belgial puppy alot he is very smart, he is now 7 months and he loves loves to walk, he loves to play he loves to be outside and his energy is high. this kind of dogs require lots of attention amd physical training.
Your cudeos always made me happy. And this time ill said thank you for sharing and Is very brave to said im not okay. Just wanted to said. That I admire you and you will overcome.
I loved my Mali and you are sooo correct, you need to work them, you need to be dog person and respect the breed and their needs. Not everyone has the ability or knowledge to do that.
At the beginning of the video, when the puppies were all over you, you let out a scream that was exactly what I sound like when my giant mastiff attacks me during play. He came running, it was so funny.
Top three dog breeds to not get for casual pets: 1. Belgian malinois 2. Border collie 3. Australian shepherd Working dogs in general are not happy and the owners are not happy unless the owners know what the dog need and follow through If you just want a happy pet hanging around, get a golden retriever, a goldendoodle, a cockapoo, a shitzhu, or some sorta dog that just enjoys making you happy. Not everyone these days has sheep or cows handy to be herded
Sorry to hear about your divorce. He's obviously out of his mind. I love watching your channel and just subscribed. I've had 3 GSD'S in the past and now have a 2 year old male Malinois. Dogs are great therapy IMO...they always love you no matter what! Malinois are extremely sensitive dogs...they can really tell how you're feeling and you have to be careful and fair when you correct them. These dogs can't be left at home for a long period of time unless you tire them out first with a good hour of exercise. You really need a large backyard for them to thrive as well...just daily walks aren't enough...they need to run at full speed and love playing fetch and tugging toys as well. Cheers!!!
Sorry to hear you have had a git of a hubby his loss remember that. You are an amazing lady and i hope one day you meet a man that treats you as you should be treated
My parents used to not like our Belgian Malinois. When they were bought he's 5 months old already, so he's big already, and growls especially during the night. I have to quickly train him so that all that negativity from my parents will be gone. Now my father enjoys his company, loves to play catch/fetch with him every day. They're very intelligent, loyal, and excellent guard dog. It is true though, that this breed is not for everyone. Some of our Belgian's brothers or sisters got returned for various reasons, including but not limited to they poo/pee everywhere (and with their size, you know what that means) up to the reason that they bite. These are the behaviors that I trained in his first few days with us. Till now I still enjoy training him new things, now on simple agility and search. :)
I was a handler for a Malinois. Rex was my partner and I miss him very much. He was ENDLESSLY sweet to people (but he did prefer the ladies). My children grew up with him and I would HIGHLY recommend the Malinois as a family dog IF IF IF IF you can keep active with them. They need LOTS of running, swimming, swinging, tugging and playing time. They are VERY high activity dogs BUT, they are also very “trainable”. They WANT to please you. That are very easily trained. I would pity anyone trying to hurt my children, but they could walk him around the neighborhood without a leash. By the way, another nickname for them is a chainsaw with paws.
Another awesome video, thats why its wanna my favorites. I would love to see you do the Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog, witch I happen to own one and was drawn to this breed some time ago. I have Lana Lou bloodline, is pretty rare bloodline of this breed.
Our darling Sissi (RIP), gave birth to maligator pack. They said, there would be 2-3 puppies. Darling Sissi took that as a challenge, and gave us 12. Oh boy. I was 11-12, and damn I loved them. I grew up with the breed, as father used Malinois for his police work. I don't know much about training dogs, but living so close to them from a young age, made me understand this breed on a... instinctual level. They are exhausting, drive you insane at times... And loyal to the goddamn end. In my opinion, they have awareness, akin to humans. Obviously they are dogs, so not quite, but... Hmm... The bond is much more real? Sorry, it's hard to describe. Akku, RIP, our beloved dog, who made everyone fall in love with him, had a full life. He changed throughout the journey too! I communicated with him, without saying words. Sometimes, I just was thinking, now Im taking him outside for a walk, and it's almost as if he sensed it when I got up. Since we knew each other. I doubt I'll ever be in the position of getting one of my own. Still, I treasure these memories. And I treasure these dogs. It's strange, even these days, may day always brightens when I see malinois. The bond never leaves, you know?

herm... my corgi brothers and systers did the same to me... and you are absolutely right: it is an amazing experience that anybody shoulf go through: being on the floor with any given number of puppers love-nibbing is simply stunning!!
Sorry to hear what you are going through I went through a similar thing my dogs were my therapists love your video you bring many people joy best wishes Carl
Yes, they are just about in any industry. Personal or professional.
I'm sure it's all his fault 🙄
Thank you... I'm not an elitist owner... I have seen so many of these dogs come up for rehoming... and if I had the space and land I'd rescue them.
The father is majestic looking also that dog with the visor was badass looking
My service dog is a mal and even at 8 years old he still has that energy and drive!
Thank you for making this video. I love these dogs, and good luck with the stuff you're dealing with. You'll be fine.
Free puppy therapy! I wish you all the best with your mental health
Who could break your beautiful heart, man i would love you and cherish your company daily.
I appreciate the honest review and public service announcement. Don’t get a dog that doesn’t suit your lifestyle or the dog’s DNA.
You look like you are suffering from cuteness over load. I think that is a good thing, but I have say my favorite video of yours is for the Newfoundland dogs and the puppies.♥
We love our Malinois even know he is loco! :) When we first got Loki from breeder he didn't like to be picked up. He was like a rabid raccoon lol.
Sorry to hear about your unfortunate times, your dogs are one of your best therapies ever my GSD Tarna, saved me on more than a few occasions
These pups are so adorable!
Fantastic video thank you so much! I love everything that you said about the breed including the warnings, Very well spoken!
Fascinating! Have you done a video or would you if not, on the Dutch shepherd please? Thanks!
The little one on the right grabbed her hair. 😂 I love them. Best breed ever!
Sorry to hear about your relationship woes. Never fear puppies are here!!!
What a beautiful human being and a beautiful woman.
If I was 2 weeks younger I would send her chocolates and flowers 💐
Agree. One week would do me.
I love my Belgium he’s a bad ass and nice but can get really protective and very brave but he listens really well and loves kids and my family
Thank you beautiful Anneka. Such cute puppies and love your presentation.
I'm not fond of puppies bites. Those milk teeth are crazy sharp. ...that said, that has been a very intense love bath!
Currently experiencing King shepherd puppy needles😢😂
😅 o lar adestrador dos cachorro esses cachorro são muito lindos e inteligentes Eu gosto muito de ver a inteligência deles Parabéns e boa sorte❤❤❤
Soo❤cutee puppies🥰😄
Great video❤Love itt!!🤗👏👏...
Anneka, love all your videos!!! Just wondering if you'll ever do an episode on Bernese Mountain Dogs? 😁
Yes, please! And Spanish Pyrenean mastiffs
Soooo sweet. Love the puppies too❤
This is what heaven must looks like. And a bunch of kittens😍
I really wants to know something. What is your favorite dog breed Anika?
Beautiful and amazing dogs. I love em.
I love your channel keep up the great work, you are amazing!
I train my belgial puppy alot he is very smart, he is now 7 months and he loves loves to walk, he loves to play he loves to be outside and his energy is high.
this kind of dogs require lots of attention amd physical training.
Dude 😮 at 2:01 that dog jus flew into him like superman 😂
Maligators have to be born ready, dangerous, capable.
When you're the cutest of all puppies, you gotta have teeth.
Who on EARTH would divorce this woman? She’s amazing, she’s beautiful inside and out and she’s intelligent. Wow, that commercial shocked me.
Second sentence answered your question.
Excellent dogs
Fantastic commentary. I'm fascinated with this Beautiful breed..thank you so much
Glad you enjoyed it💥💥💙
Your cudeos always made me happy. And this time ill said thank you for sharing and Is very brave to said im not okay. Just wanted to said. That I admire you and you will overcome.
I really love " YOUR " love for all dogs ! I'm fascinated by dogs. They are so cool !
I have a Mailgator. Best dog ever. Yes, you need a lot of energy to keep up with them. My boy is 7 and whew. He is a whirlwind of energy.
I loved my Mali and you are sooo correct, you need to work them, you need to be dog person and respect the breed and their needs. Not everyone has the ability or knowledge to do that.
Im so happy with my Malinois. What a great dog and shes only 16mo.
At the beginning of the video, when the puppies were all over you, you let out a scream that was exactly what I sound like when my giant mastiff attacks me during play. He came running, it was so funny.
Top three dog breeds to not get for casual pets:
1. Belgian malinois
2. Border collie
3. Australian shepherd
Working dogs in general are not happy and the owners are not happy unless the owners know what the dog need and follow through
If you just want a happy pet hanging around, get a golden retriever, a goldendoodle, a cockapoo, a shitzhu, or some sorta dog that just enjoys making you happy. Not everyone these days has sheep or cows handy to be herded
Husky and malamute right up there
Sorry to hear about your divorce. Cheers!!!
I love my malinois to bits!! Shes 11 and just chomps the air when she gets excited, doesnt bite ❤
Sweet i love this breed..❤❤especially the colour brown Malinois..Watching from Papua New Guinea
So wounderful, awesome Dogs. Malinois are absolut the best if they are trained right.
What a great video of this amazing breed. I have a pup now and will be posting videos soon on my channel.
Life is a process. Keep your heart together and you can't loose.
Τhank you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love my 8 week old Maligator. My hands are shredded right now though 😂😂😂
Self Care is everything!
4.38, it looks as though you have been CLAIMED by this beautiful pup who casually leans his elbow on your leg.
Yet, the most lovable breed aside from their toughness. I love my girl to death ❤
The million subs not far now😍.be well deserved lovely person
2:22 Most are born this way and it helps if you train them to be that way also.
Another awesome video, thats why its wanna my favorites. I would love to see you do the Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog, witch I happen to own one and was drawn to this breed some time ago. I have Lana Lou bloodline, is pretty rare bloodline of this breed.
Maligator, Maliraptor, Malisaurus Rex, Malinator, Malipocolyse. All nicknames given to Malinois dogs. That's gotta tell you something.
😂😂😂😂😂 you said it best!
I'd 💖 love to lay down with them playing...great refreshment ❗💤
Please do a piece on the Australian Kelpie. Great work! Thanks!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and suggestions as the song 🎵 plays, thank you very much! Have a fabulous day take care 🕊 💖
Lol ... puppies are heart warming.
"Dogs: the only beings on Earth whose excitement level matches the sound of a treat bag crinkling."
Agghhhh those pups are too cute 😂🤣
They are having so much fun in that wrestling bit. Your laughing and giggling is not helping your case for please-dont-bite either! :D
They are the most incredible dogs!
If I’m gonna be chewed to death I can’t think of a cuter way to die lol.
Pretty dogs, my neighbor has one and it would chase cars like crazy. It owned the neighborhood
Hooray 3 weeks ago. You are making more videos 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Watching this with my Maligator napping on my feet
