I never seen a trainer this good. His training method is amazing. He loves the dog and cares for her life and that's why she trusts him. I wish I had the money to take my dog there.
Tony has one of the better dog minds anywhere. His success is highly indicative of someone humble enough to be in constant learning mode. Developing his own strategies and methods is what truly sets him apart. A unique mind and a great ambassador to the working dog world.
We've had the pleasure of meeting Scarlett and Tony in person and can say that their relationship is inspirational. You can see the level of trust, respect, teamwork, and commitment between the two. It makes one question the dogma regarding high energy breeds or working dogs, and introduces new ideas and concepts to achieve not only results in training, but in the development of a strong relationship between owner/handler and dog
This is one of your better Videos and that fella knows exactly what not just malinois, but how every working dog should be trained. If you've getting a dog especially a working dog, get them from a puppy as they are like a sponge and ebsobe everything in.
Tony is the trainer for my Rotti. My dog was totally screwed up by another trainer and with Tony’s training over the past 6 weeks, he is 1000 times better. Awesome work, Tony. Thanks for!!!
I agree. Everyday people should have a license that indicates that they are trained to have working dogs like Malinois. Even dogs like pitts or corsos. These can be very dangerous dogs if not trained and owner doesn’t have control. Bring back dog licenses for the uk imo. I have a collie and I make her work, even though she lives in the city. She is a wonderful dog. Very smart too.
Hi Anneka... your Malinois videos are very informative. As someone who is passionate about wildlife and conservation, I especially liked the ones about the breed being used to combat rhino and elephant poaching in Africa. This practice is also conducted in India, where both Malinois and German Shepherds are employed in the battle against poaching and other wildlife crimes.
That was an awesome display of the dogs love for their handler. Scarlet is such a power house sweetheart. So pretty. I own 2 German Shepards and love Belgian Malinois. The greatest breeds in the the world, which would be the German Shepards and Belgian Malinois hands down..
Awesome video. I have three Malinois here I trained to be my service dogs and two are trained for water rescues. Recently two of my pups pulled me up mountains in Utah and a week ago two went to the farm to be around family and horses. Lots of good information put out in this video and looks like good quality equipment for the pups. Love my Malinois.
So magnificent! I love these beautiful dogs.. Their training is SPOT ON.. And so impressive, listens to the trainer no matter what is going on around..
I adopted a BM that I had known for years. It broke my heart to see her abandoned by her former owner. They are highly intelligent and never stop learning or adapting to their environments. Once she was in my care, a totally different dog emerged, happy, calm and "lazily" watchful over her new humans... By that, I mean, she'd surprise everyone as just a dog laying on a lead... Until you crossed her invisible line of territory... Then, boom, she was up and in motion! 😂😂😂. 9/10 all she had to was sit up and full grown men found a Looney Toon gear of quick reverse or split leap they never knew existed! 😅😅🤣. Even a child my mother was babysitting, who made a dash for the road... Dusty was up, 4 strides and grabbed him by his diapered bottom and held him! I got to see her live until age 17; wishing for many more. They truly are an amazing breed.
I’m glad you gave her the love she deserved. I’ve generally stayed away from larger breeds because I get so attached and can’t stand the thought of only having a companion for 10 or maybe 12 years for many larger breeds. It’s nice to hear yours lived a long life. I have cattle so I’ve been looking for a breed that can help keep away the black vultures during labor and immediately after the calf is born. Looking at Cane Corso and Kangal but these dogs seem like they are a perfect companion on so many levels.
Great video with great advice for those thinking about getting a Malinois or have a Malinois. True leadership training. Salute from a former Canadian from Toronto now residing in Madrid , Spain with an amazing 3yr old Malinois girl Hera. Thank you 💯👍👊😎
I love his philosophy, we trained our GSD's the same way. And it takes a longer time to train, but so more rewarding, for the dog and handler. My father and I had each one, and we spend a lot of time in the woods, with them. And every day a training, when they were worn out from running, the easiest way to train them was in that short time. Except for the biting program, where they needed that adrenaline, but afterward we did a long walk. These dogs are not for everyone, even my Hungarian Shepherd needs someone in check. Love these animals, another great video.
I had the absolute honor and priveledge to work a gig in the middle east years ago where we employed these magnificent dogs, this particular k-9 was trained for explosives detection. Simply the best dog I have ever seen and the level of intelligence is off the charts.
what a awesome video. iam ex military and have a malinois since i retired . he is full family member. we are great team. work hard every day and try to learn from each other every day.
I love my Mel, I’ve got farm animals he does really well with them and I’ve got plans for him to search and rescue. They’re incredibly smart. Love my boy.
I LOVE that intro section showing the googles ... priceless. Even with googles on the Malinois looks all business LoL I used to work as a contract janitor at an Air Force Base in Albuquerque. We serviced the vet clinic. One day there was a black Mal lying on the floor. As I approached, he rolled on his back and clearly let me know he wanted a belly rub.
Tony, great job with the training program. Scarlett is a wonderful dog. The breed is always awesome, I found this when I had a black and silver German shepherd. I still love that dog. Great video and information. Folks if you want a working dog, research, research and more research. Awesome much enjoyed
Thank you @Animal-Watch for a very informative video. This is the first time viewing your channel & you've definitely earned a like AND a subscribe! Tony has done an excellent job training Scarlett, and the fact that she is included as one of his family is awesome =)
Fur missiles ❤ they are amazing for families to soldiers. They are high energy. However, gym equipment can be used if needed for a working dog for disabled and handicaps etc. I'm looking forward to mine ❤
To see a dog with so much inherent drive to bite being put through so many different scenarios is amazing. It really brings home how these dogs need constant management cos they are all business all the time. The amount of constant training is not suitable for many people I’m sure. As they are basically a full time job they seem to need constant input of information. Not a dog for the average dog owner.
Apsoloutly amazing I have always watched your content, and it alway's shows the beauty of God's creation, and Scarlett is simply amazing. But the trainer is a true whisperer. God bless the spread of this training in Jesus name, AMEN.
@23:20 100% I've used an e-collar for the last 6 years and have never used it when when a situation has gotten to close. Sharp specific words are as, or more effective in that situation. The collar is for long-distance call and notification (on beep only) after initial training. This is for my situation anyway.
If you want a Malinois but don't want the extreme drive, try getting a Belgian Tervuren. Same dog, but long hair with a high drive but not as much as the Maligator. Great dog.
I was once lucky enough to be part of a police exercise where a trained German Shepherd attacked my padded arm. I learnt three things: 1) These trained dogs are not distractable. If you're a dog lover who has watched movies and thought "If one of those dogs was set on me, I could distract them with meat/tone/gestures/whatever" - think again. I couldn't even get him to enjoy petting, he was so focussed. There was no getting round him. 2) I felt the power of those jaws through the padding. If I didn't have that padding on, I'm pretty certain my bones would be crushed. 3) They are FAST. All this to say, if you're ever faced with a police dog warning, don't ignore that warning!
That was hands down, the most incredible display of teamwork between a human and their dog I've ever seen.
I have seen her work first hand, this is just a teaser. BOTH are incredible!
Wow Thankyou so much 🔥🙏
@operationalk9 I totally agree. She unbelievable
We Belgians are proud of our “Mechelse schepers” 🥰❤️✌️
I never seen a trainer this good. His training method is amazing. He loves the dog and cares for her life and that's why she trusts him. I wish I had the money to take my dog there.
I paused the video to look at my dogs as one of them wanted cuddles and then fell of the couch........ the contrast 😀
I feel your pain! 😂😂😂
How sweet! Haha😊ha
I was fortunate to have one for over 13 years. Best dog ever! Miss you Keesha. R.I.P
Aw! Bet she was amazing 🤩
That's amazing! It takes certain kind of owners to bring the best out of them.
As a former Malinois owner I concur, our Fenrir passed away on the 29th of December 2024, he was the best.
This dog is so intelligent the when she retires she should write a book!!! Congratulations on being a great trainer.
What a fabulous comment 🙌
😂😂😂
I gonna buy that book.😅
Tony has one of the better dog minds anywhere. His success is highly indicative of someone humble enough to be in constant learning mode. Developing his own strategies and methods is what truly sets him apart.
A unique mind and a great ambassador to the working dog world.
Fantastic feedback for Tony and his hard work. He is one of the best trainers I’ve met so far on Animal Watch
Hard to come up with anything but WOW!! Exceptional Malinois and an absolutely Incredible trainer!!
She is an amazing K9! I am in awe of her discipline and abilities

Thankyou for your support and kind words 🙏🔥
Scarlet is absolutely amazing. Her control is phenomenal!
The absolute focus on the human and the quickness of her response to commands is incredible. What a beautiful dog!
Totally agree
Only one word to say for both the incredible Scarlett and also her incredible trainer/owner is "RESPECT". Great video love it.
Great episode. I am Canadian. I love seeing Canada leading.
Great country
Scarlet is a phenomenally amazing dog!! Appreciate all the hard work and skill it takes to produce a dog of that caliber.
Tony is the trainer for my Rotti. My dog was totally screwed up by another trainer and with Tony’s training over the past 6 weeks, he is 1000 times better. Awesome work, Tony. Thanks for!!!
That’s wonderful news 🙌🔥
It's a shame that a trainer screwed your dog. I loved it that she/he got a second chance. 🙏🇳🇱
Awesome hard work on behalf of human and dog!
Would love to have one but respect that this may not be a plan that I will be able to achieve.
This breed is simply amazing.
We agree! 🔥
Scarlett is amazing. Love her so much. She is such an impressive dog. ❤❤❤
She really is and Thankyou for following 🙏

@Animal-Watch absolutely. It's amazing how a dog that is employed and trained to save human lives can also save endangered wildlife.
That was an awesome display of the dogs love for their handler. Scarlet is such a power house sweetheart. So pretty. I own 2 German Shepards and love Belgian Malinois.

The most excellent overview of the capabilities of this super dog breed, the Belgium Malinois.
Scarlett is not only beautiful, but extremely impressive! Great work you’re doing!
I remember this beautiful breed from one another great documentary, they are like ninjas ❤ absolutely stunning. Love your informative videos!
Thank you very much!
Absolutely loved this video! Thank you for a close up at such a beautiful dog. My German Shepherd was jealous as I watched

Totally not a pet dog. These dogs go mad without daily challenges. You have given some good advise there 🙌
Scarlet be chillin
Fantastic dog
Thank you very much!
I have 4 and by far the smartest breed I've ever had. The speed at which they learn commands is amazing
Apsoloutly amazing I have always watched your content, and it alway's shows the beauty of God's creation, and Scarlett is simply amazing. But the trainer is a true whisperer. God bless the spread of this training in Jesus name, AMEN.
id love to have a Belgian Malinois they are fantastic dogs
They totally are x
But could you be the fantastic owner & trainer that it would need?
SO CUTE

When I managed a pet store we had an officer bring his in. Such a cool breed!
If you want a Malinois but don't want the extreme drive, try getting a Belgian Tervuren. Same dog, but long hair with a high drive but not as much as the Maligator. Great dog.

Absolutely for the right active person
Sooo, you’re planning to become a Ninja? 😮
