- What an amazing show! This concert was mesmerizing, if you get a chance to see tool live do it!!!!
Tool Live Concert 2019 4K HQ Audio // Stinkfist // Connecticut 11-21-2019
That has to be the cleanest and crispiest live drums ever.
Denis he is always spot on!
Danny kills it! He is the BEST!
What are you, an idiot?
Thats not even remotely close to being best
Nah....just wait until the next show with Danny Carey.
Just remember that these guys are in their mid to late 50s
Literal legends
Makes it that much more impressive!
and
@@drinsouthwestWA They are cool.
So they actually play instruments, there plenty of talented musicians today it’s just not the mainstream b.s. that is out there today
That's crazy man, to think there's human beings out there that are still able to work beyond the age of 50. Everyone I've ever known has been put in an old peoples home by the age of 35.
Crazy a rock concert where fans aren’t freaking out instead they stand and are just completely mesmerized
I was one of those people, this being the first time I ever saw them. Their timing is flawless. Definitely my favorite band after seeing them live.
I wouldn't be jumping around missing one second of this either
For real. Every time I see them its like a spiritual journey
They didn’t let fans use phones at Sydney show. Was so good. No one obsessed with filming everything just having a doozy time
They know they are witnessing greatness.
Danny Carey either inspires one to take up drumming.....or quit.
he's one of my inspirational drummers....I love to play this song when Im messing around
You never quit drumming, because every drummer is special.
@@mc_zombiefield2761 love you.
Totally get that. I get that when I watch Joe Myers play guitar. Half inspired to greatness... And the other half of me thinks 'why even bother'
Yeah then you should listen to neil peart from rush. Dannys favorite drummer and the guy he learned from, but he never got to neils level of genius on the kit.
This is astonishing only every level. These guys play as a single soul driven by what feels like dark magic. Everything is in alignment, complimentary, a language only they could possibly create together...as one. And Danny's drums never sounded better on a live show recording.
Thanks for the kind words. I agree!!
The best thing about Tool, is that no other band can rival them.
The Ocean comes to my mind
There are plenty of bands that are equally as good. It’s music, not sports. One band being good takes nothing away from another.
Without doubt one of the greatest bands in the history of the world. Still as powerful as the first time I saw them in 93.
I agree!!
Is Tool the only band you ever saw live........?
@@johanhofman4335 LOL. Many dozens. Country to jazz; punk to blues; classic to hair bands. TOOL certainly isn't alone at the top. But just as certainly, they're in the rare company that can perform extremely technical pieces consistently, and sound fresh even at the end of a multiple hour set. Maynard is his own beast, but the rest of the band is just plain industrial strength awesome.
Saw them in 94 in a club in Y Bor City
One of the greats
The cleanest, crispest, sweet sounding live drums I have ever heard. I am late to the party but I am becoming a serious fan
I'm well into to late.but I love it.
Same here, im 50 and my daughter brought me during the fear tour. Needless to say im still in the rabbit hole!
Danny's drumming is the cleanest, best pleasure, for sure.
Doesn't matter when you become a fan :)
Maynard has got to be the best back man in rock n roll!
Darren, Laid back!
Ya it sucks tho. Music great. Performance ok
@@MusicMan3 What sucks?
Now Maynard study a RAMONES SHOW!! The RAMONES was the best in the business for the simple fact that they walked to the VERY FUCKING FRONT LEDGE OF THE STAGE and ATTACKED THE CROWD like I’ve never ever seen a band do before or since!! Non of this modern art BULLSHIT TRYIN TO GUESS WHAT the hell point you’re trying to get across, with the RAMONES and punk shows in general the point was to kick the crowds fucking ass!! You left that show completely and totally feeling like you were an extension of the band, included, savvi?!
Mike Patton ain't bad either.
I love how Danny made sure that girl got the drumstick around 8:15.
Danny is so great love that guy!
John Stanier from Helmet handed me a stick just like that at the end of the gig, but he held onto it until he was sure I absolutely had a grip on it, cos cunts were trying to tear it out of his and my hand. It's still on my wall.
@@LiveRockMusic I love how Maynard made sure everybody had a breef look at the back of his head as he walked away from the stage just as the concert was over XD Maynard is so great, love that guy
Noticed and loved that very nice gesture on his part too, she must have been either real cute or really going crazy seeing them that he caught up on that
Danny have that girl a drum stick because she was crying her eyes out.
And I suspect in sheer overload of emotions seeing maybe her favourite band.
A life defining experience.
And I'm guessing Danny clocked her and just wanted her to know that how she feels about tool is reciprocal..
Fucking dude..
I wish he was my best mate..
Danny doesn't just "play" the drums, he becomes fluid with the musical rhythm that is the flow of Tool's music as does James, Adam and Justin. This is truly a human event that shouldn't be missed.
Great comment! My son, who just turned 18 recently, was surprised by his friends when they took him to his very first concert in Vegas last night and the look on his face when he got home was priceless. He couldn't hear a damn thing when I asked him how it went lol
Well said Brian! So true.
Donna thats the way it should be!
Brian Ford In other words, he plays the drums.
Donna Marie It was a stupid comment
I love that they sound the same live as recorded! Bravo!
I always thought TOOL had decent albums. BUT OMG to witness them live, when they bring their own sound system, INCREDIBLE. I have seen about 50 bands, and NONE of them compares to TOOL.
I guess you saw 50 bands that sucked.....
@@johanhofman4335 Are you lost?
You never saw Radiohead I'm guessing.
Same
@@johanhofman4335 That's funny. Rolling Stones, KORN, Aerosmith, just to name a few. They all suck? I had other genres too that I saw live.
First of all, not that many bands bring a 14 speaker system that is attached to the ceiling. My stereo system does not sound anything like hearing them live. I have a crappy stereo system I guess.
Honestly the lead guitar Adam, who grew up not far from me, fills up the entire space of the concert hall.
Danny is such a good soul. He is the balance of the Tool.
Tool has broken so many records this year with Fear Inoculum .
Here is to hoping they break more records in 2020 with an actual concert video/dvd Full Concert!!
That would break a lot of shit!
I hope they do it!
A concert dvd would be ...no words to describe....I can just hope for myself and others who are not able to attend a live concert 🌀
By tool standards it's such a subpar album, it almost feels recycled. Stinkfist is my 10th favorite tool song ever, not a single song on FI is better.
But the concert dvd releasing means a chilling of the internet, so save your fave shows to a hard drive before you get to wishin for your single dvd
I would happily settle for a live album.
The sound quality is exceptional.
It's so great to see tool perform at such a high level after so many years
Just saw them in Atlantic city and what a great show. Last time they came around this way was 07 so definitely worth it
Andrew I agree so awesome
I was there. Greatest show I have ever seen in my life, by a LARGE margin.
And I've seen Tool four times now. They arent just still going strong; theyre going stronger than ever.
Great bands get better with age! Fine 🍷
Danny is such a humble dude. Tops in my book.
I love that Danny always looks like he just finished some pick up basketball at the YMCA on a Friday night
Lol because he did 😂 and balled out on them LMFAO
He gets a jersey from every stadium they play at and wears it at the shows.
Bro finally got to see tool live, after 6 years of bad luck, second to last song was invincible and they killed it, they ended with this and it brought the house down. What a night
Amazing night i can't wait to see them again!
Hell yea man hope next time I see them they play descending.
Remember when Maynard was an active frontman. Contortions and screams. Youthful exuberance. An amazing thing to grow up with a band. To always say, “I love tool” how much we all have changed in our lives.
The most amazing band, incredible music. LOVE this band.
The camera angle gives the most glorious views of Justin's otherworldly stage posture and moves. Love it.
Thanks!
IF YOU WEREN'T MOVED, YOU MAY NEVER FEEL ANYTHING AT ALL! KEEP DIGGING!!
True!
I wasnt even 10 when 10,000 days came out so i never got to see them in concert. UNTIL THIS SHOW!!! Theyre so fucking good!!
My first show too was so amazing!
I had one of the hardest periods in my life last 6 months preparing for medical exams... I would listen to tool every day playing stinkfist jimmy and others... got me so pumped every time to not succumb to this fucked up pressure and weight I felt...
That's a great story Matt! For me it has helped me just escape thoughts for a while!
I’ve seen them live 11 times and will never get tired of Danny drumming
Saw them in Sydney last night, what an experience, I still have goosebumps...bloody brilliant artists,,,
Lynda so great live!!!
One 9f the best live recordings I've ever heard. Crisp, clear and not distorted at all. Bravo.
They are so tight live, it's beautiful to watch. Been playing together so long, falling in and out of time signatures is almost effortless.
Huge Tool fan , but Iron Maiden is insanely tight and they've been doing it since 1980 with Bruce. I was at their show in CT in 2019 and it was ridiculous how tight they were. The musicianship is off the chains!
Just saw them in Atlanta! Invincible was my favorite of the night! The notes after "Caligula would grin" sent shivers down my spine. Danny's Drums on Vicarious was simply amazing. My wife went with me and knows nothing about Tool, said "That Drummer was Amazing!"
There is nothing like tool! Danny is one of the best ever mad respect
I just saw them on Valentine's Day in Perth and it was comfortably the best concert I've seen in my life!
These guys are true masters of their craft!!!
Ian they are simply amazing!
I would just like to thank Tool and all the people who upload there masterpieces it gives me so much and I am afraid I give them nothing but admiration, i will never see them live but their music has inspired me and given me so much.
Thank you for this crisp clean (LIVE) sound!!!
I've never seen Tool but watching this gives me goosebumps! There aren't many bands that would take the time to do what Danny and Justin are doing after the show is over. Very professional and such a great jesture!
Doug do yourself a favor and go it's a crazy good experience!
Thanks to all the people who upload these masterpieces for others, who can't make it to live shows for different reasons. All you amazing people have my respect and love 🙌🏻❤️
Keep spreading happiness and love 💞
Glad you enjoy it! My pleasure!
I'm so glad I found this thanks..TOOL IS FOREVER
Thank you for this amazing coverage. Felt like I could have been there. I love this band!
ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS EVER PERIOD!!!!!
Me too Travis, amazing!
live extended Stinkfist is the best Stinkfist
AMAZING SHOW!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THESE GUYS. The new album is a master piece!!
Joe it's pure genius!
The effects of live sound very clear, love you guyss
I am 67 still rockin' Seen them 3x Can't wait 'till the next rock on 🤟
maynard's voice is just mesmerizing. would let him break my spine just to hear tool live
I was working at a horse track here in Cincinnati a few years back and the Tool bass player and his I guess girlfriend or wife were riding on a tandem bike together. They were playing at the venue next door later that night and she asked me if I wanted a few tickets to see the show. Soma few of us from the track went up to will call and got free tickets to see them. We also got to go to a meet and great after the gig. Only Danny showed. Haha
This is a spiritual experience
Awesome video with good images and sound ... Thanks for uploading it!
Although I’ve known of Tool for years, seeing them live in SF a few months ago that put them in a whole new light for me. Thoroughly awesome show.
I saw them in brooklyn on nov 19. They absolutely killed it. I've been listening to tool since 1993, that was the 1st time I saw them live though
James, me too, long time listener but just never saw them live, won't be the last time I see Tool!
@@LiveRockMusic I am on a mission to see them again as well. Won't be in the near future. Christmas is coming, and a few other things. But I want to see them again
Finally got to see tool in Sydney Australia last week.......I missed them every other time they came to Australia but not this time.......26 year’s I waited....... good things come to those who wait........ greater things come to those who waited longer........ to those i love who passed before their last album came out......I miss you and it was worth it......😊
Jason I bet it was amazing!!!
WOW!! Chills and shivers!
This is phenomenal!
Saw them in Toronto November 12 2019. Second time seeing them live. Last time I saw them was 2001 Lateralus tour. Incredible then! Incredible now! Honestly my top 3 favourite bands ever! AMAZING! Thanks for posting this🙏
I hope I don't miss my opportunity to one day catch Tool live. I know that's gonna be like an out-of-body experience!
Doesn’t get better than that... especially in headphones cranked all the way up. 🙏
Thank you!
Awesome rendition. One of my favorite tool songs..if not my favorite.
Amazing!! Saw them last Sunday in San Diego...was on my husband's bucket list so we splurged on VIP and were front and center! This was great to be able to see the whole light show and peek into Danny's drumset, thank you for posting!!!!
Becky Wood awesome !
Nice Becky! Pretty amazing glad you splurged!
My god, that was so sick! One of my favs by them.
literally best concert ever!
I saw Tool on the Lateralus tour, and they remain the best band I've seen live.
and also the Fear Inoculum intro? that had me in tears it was so good
I wish! I was freaked out by all the warnings
Legendary!🔥🎸💨🤍🤘💛🔥
Amanda they are the best!
Absolutely fantastic, thank you so much for sharing. Always feel its unfair those at the front of a gig get the drumsticks, they already had the best view...!
Thanks for sharing this moment. I saw them live on Monday & it was an mind blowing night 🤘🏻
Jack totally mind blowing!
I know tool prefers people to experience their music in person, but i am grateful for the rare vids. Ive never been to any concert and might not ever go to one. So thank you!
Considering that Tool doesn't seem to ever be planning to come to argentina, yeah, this the most I'll get.
Why?
Oh my god this sounds amazing! I’m going to see Tool next time they are near me. Thanks for sharing 💋💜
Next time I'm bring you💘🤘🏼😎🤘🏼🎸
Wow, those are 4 skilled dudes. The attention to detail is awesome. Chancellor is such an awesome bassist.
wow great recording! 100 Thumbs up
April 2022... cant wait
Jesus. Absolutely beautiful recording. Thank you. Will never forgive myself for missing this
Thanks! Don't miss it next time!
They are charging 450 bucks for a GA ticket in Australia. Absolute bullshit.
i missed it too.. my neighbor went and i could have went with him but i couldnt afford it
Got my ticket for Melbourne 22/2/20, my life has been leading to this moment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You will love it!
Just saw them a couple days ago, they opened a portal and allowed us to travel to other realms for two hours. Absurdly profound in the purest sense. Musical geniuses, pioneers of conscious! They’re going to make your existence!
I've got mine for Brisbane. Very excited!
Legends at work.
Seen these guys three times and they never dissappoint
8:00 Tears spilled into Danny's kindness.
This is a great vantage point! Well done!
Chris sometimes the side is better! You get the full effect of the crowd and lighting
I got shivers and goosebumps w tingles watching this......
This show moved me like no other
Phenomenal sound on this, Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for noticing Solar! I used a Shure MV88 Mic
Just as majestic as ever, and the fact they love each other and the fans makes it all even so much better...also, ABBA's Dancing Queen right at the end as the after-show music...awesome... \m/
Tool rules!
SLC October 18th. Got invited into the sound booth and backstage. Simply amazing! Killing Joke was a treat also! End of the show during breakdown they played ABBA dancing queen! Heading to SLC again March 16th. They are without peer. The greatest Band of our generation!!!
I want to see them again so bad!
I saw them at the beginning of this tour and it was phenomenal but they didn’t play 7empest which I was so stoked to hear. They decided to add our city again a few months later. Take my money!!! But unfortunately it was cancelled last minute because of COVID. So glad and lucky to see them early in tour. Tool concerts are kind a religious experience.
Saw them in Louisville last April for the 3rd time. They know how to put on a show! Hopefully the world goes back to normal so we can all see them again
Saw them last night in vegas was the BEST show I’ve ever seen
Adam I have to agree, so amazing!
I was there! My first time seeing them......fantastic show
4:02 always slays me. Lyrically and the music and notes Maynard sings there are pretty much perfect.
Me too Patrick!
read this right before it happened, and i have always loved that part
Instead of what became of subtlety, I scream What the hell is wrong with me?!
Great job on this recording, crisp!
When you love what you do it shows. When you love those who love what you do it shows. Such technical performance (music, lyrics, lights, videos, projections) together with such humanity (look how they are happy with each other and with the public at the end) is not common.
I was there! One of the best nights of my life, such an experience.
Me too Smitty I need to see them again!
Blessed to have heard Neil Peart and Danny Carey in my lifetime.
Me too!
Best audio ever heard from a clip!
Jack I used a Shure condenser mic, MV88
My girl and I was at this show sitting very close to whoever filmed this!! She scored us tickets for my birthday in November! First tool show for her and I. Thank you for uploading.
They are the first band that I don’t miss not having a keyboard player, the sound is awesome
amazing
I was mind blown
Sooo PRIME!!!..These kats were a total LIFE CHANGER for me..Them LIVE!!..PRICELESS!!!
Tool is on another level-that's all there is to it.
They were pulled in from an alternate reality or dimension that's for sure
From those of use who will never be able to afford a show: thank you for filming and posting. It was a pleasure to watch!
You are very welcome Patricia! Glad you enjoyed it
Best rock show ever
It was amazing tha'ts for sure!
I went to this concert! Just about the last big crowd I was in before the virus hit. Thanks for the video!
great video, man. thank you for sharing!
Thanks Tim you are welcome!
i was there as well. it was mind boggling. thank you for the HQ share man. loved it!!
You are welcome Chris!
this convinced me to go, I have no money but we will see lol they're playing in February for a $252 ticket and I'm still a teen I'll have to work my butt off to see them play!!! never been to a concert before but I'd die for Tool and want to have their band playing as my first experience :') I already have $100 wish me luck 😎🤘🏽
SAME
Do overtime at work, collect cans do whatever it's so worth it!
@@matejpetkovski490 YEAH 😭🤘🏽
@@LiveRockMusic honestly going to do the can trick thank you!!
Nyoka I-R It will be worth it! I saw the this year at Rock im Park festival in Nürnberg, Germany. OUT OF THIS WORLD. I saw around 25 bands in 3 days, but Tool was just entirely different. I have never heard such an amazingly "precise" sound. Of course the whole soundboard must have been perfect that day, but you could truly feel the tightness of them. Something that is absolutely uncapturable on video somehow.
Trust me, now that I have seen them, I would gladly pay 200+ for another concert.
Thanks for this video man, this was one of the best shows of my life.
Saturday Jewel. No words . . .
