That last scene gutted me for both of them. Kate was definitely in the wrong, but Lucy knew exactly what to say to cut her deep too. She knows Kate wants the trust and love of a team that Lucy has. She knows Kate wants to belong and feel wanted, so telling her she no longer is part of that group of people for Lucy is just an added layer of angst. Kate has felt alone since arriving and now she is again.

I have so many feelings about this, both for the characters and as a fan of the ship. For the characters, I am heartbroken. I find myself not even hating Kate. She didn't expect Lucy and life got real complicated, real quick. I wish we knew more about Kate to understand her a bit better because her actions aren't from someone looking for a side piece. She loves Lucy and dropped everything, including Cara, to help save her. As for the show and writers, I am so drained from queer ships that get together, are marketed to fans, and then don't get happy endings after a few episodes together. I really hope that is not the case here but I have been burned so many times by writers of shows and films that essentially use brief, queer shipper arcs to lure fans in for ratings.
It would be different if it weren’t so back and forth. They never get more than three scenes per episode. Granted tonight they both got a lot of individual screen time too. The actresses are satisfactory - though Lucy’s nails are unexpectedly long - but the writing is weak. With minimal screen time, every second should count. Anyway, I do feel like this isn’t the end; Kate will most likely try and win her back and not be so secretive this time. Though I don’t think Cara was the reason she wanted their relationship on the DL. But I feel like when Kai gets a GF the ships won’t be treated equally.

If they are writing them as the main couple, awesome, but there really has not been much development, especially of Kate, to assume they will invest.

Ernie and his girl were practically making out at work and telling everyone about their history together, but Kate and Lucy are on the DL and that's the focal point of the storyline? Weak sauce!

The scenario Kate is in also makes me wonder from a different perspective if it was Joe and Jane. Joe and Jane were hooking up and together before he left. He decides to take the job, but says that she knows where to find him. If Jane just randomly showed up at Joe's and turns out he has a new girlfriend after months apart, would that make Joe the bad guy for not completely calling it off with Jane, even though they knew it wasn't going to work out before he left? I think Kate's situation isn't as black and white as Lucy wants it to be and that makes sense because she is hurt, but it is certainly complicated.
I like the way i do not remember her name but how she is the boss but besides that she is like the mother or big sister for all of them . she waited lucy until she got to her officce and offer her just what she needs . no question ask. that a real lider and boss

WOW, I'm heart 💔 broken, shipping this two is great though...they are an excellent actress too. As for the characters Lucy was hurt and almost got killed there, I understand why she can't give her trust to Kate anymore. Being an undercover operative you can't just trust anybody especially when they lie and hold secret so dear to you while you put all your heart out for them. But I hope they'll sort things out slowly and Kate should recover Lucy's trust to her.

You guys are really not seeing things from Lucy's stand point. Kate could have well have opened up when she got the text from her ex when she and Lucy were together earlier in the day. Based on that conversation she knew her ex was in town that morning even asking her virtual assistant how soon she can get to Pearl Harbour. She went to pick up the ex and bring her to her place. All the while not saying anything to either the ex or Lucy. I think that's why Lucy is so passed off, because she likely remembers that Kate got a text that morning about from the ex before Lucy left her apartment which should have been the best time to have brought the matter up. I'm just saying 🤷
After that last line Lucy said...the two ways I can see them making up is if Kate has a near death experience and that brings them together and/or if Kate tries to gain her trust again (I feell like she'll give Lucy space but also not give her the cold agent shoulder anymore like when they were first a secret) which I feel like will take awhile and Kate's not always in the episodes.

I think this is some good acting by Whistler because she’s so in the wrong it’s crazy, but none the less, I feel really bad for her here because she really pulls off being sincerely desperate to be with Lucy.
I really hope they get back together at some point. I get that Lucy was hurt by Kate's choices but she clearly cares about Lucy seeing the way she was worried during the mission.
And that's why honesty is always the best policy, even though Kate was messy as hell I feel like Lucy would've just encouraged her to break up with Cara or made her choose between them, would have gone over a lot better than just ignoring it and keeping it a secret

I really like Lucy, but it seems to me Lucy just gave up. When you really care about someone, you don’t just give up because you are hurt. I mean, the situation with Cara seems like an honest mistake, more of a miscommunication/misunderstanding. Whistler did acknowledge that and tried to fix it. Plus what Lucy said at the end was kind of harsh “you are no longer one of them” ouch! Like below the belt kind of ouch! Seems like the only way for them to reconcile is for Lucy to realize that she loves Kate and doesn’t want to lose her, i.e for Kate to almost die/get hurt or any other life threatening situation.

We’re on episode 11, first season. I’m not a fan of the writing overall, but you cannot expect smooth sailing all the time - especially if you want them to be endgame.

This happens to like all of my favourite shows - they're together, they break up, they are together and then they break up... its tiring!!! WOW, I'm heart 💔 broken, shipping this two is great though...they are an excellent actress too. As for the characters Lucy was hurt and almost got killed there, I understand why she can't give her trust to Kate anymore. Being an undercover operative you can't just trust anybody especially when they lie and hold secret so dear to you while you put all your heart out for them. But I hope they'll sort things out slowly and Kate should recover Lucy's trust to her.

You guys are really not seeing things from Lucy's stand point. Kate could have well have opened up when she got the text from her ex when she and Lucy were together earlier in the day.
Based on that conversation she knew her ex was in town that morning even asking her virtual assistant how soon she can get to Pearl Harbour. She went to pick up the ex and bring her to her place. All the while not saying anything to either the ex or Lucy.
I think that's why Lucy is so passed off, because she likely remembers that Kate got a text that morning about from the ex before Lucy left her apartment which should have been the best time to have brought the matter up. I'm just saying 🤷
Well lying is way colder and then, Kate did brush off Lucy so much, when she tried.😢
After that last line Lucy said...the two ways I can see them making up is if Kate has a near death experience and that brings them together and/or if Kate tries to gain her trust again (I feell like she'll give Lucy space but also not give her the cold agent shoulder anymore like when they were first a secret) which I feel like will take awhile and Kate's not always in the episodes.

I really hope they get back together at some point. I get that Lucy was hurt by Kate's choices but she clearly cares about Lucy seeing the way she was worried during the mission.
And that's why honesty is always the best policy, even though Kate was messy as hell I feel like Lucy would've just encouraged her to break up with Cara or made her choose between them, would have gone over a lot better than just ignoring it and keeping it a secret
Going back & watching #NcisHawai'i epi's 10 thru 13, it's sad that #Kacy is going thru a "unofficial 😉😷😉 breakup" (""). Technically they weren't a couple, just sharing a occasional secret date & booty call which is fine as long as u know where you stand. But Kate not telling Lucy about Cara is a no-no.

I really like Lucy, but it seems to me Lucy just gave up. When you really care about someone, you don’t just give up because you are hurt. I mean, the situation with Cara seems like an honest mistake, more of a miscommunication/misunderstanding. Whistler did acknowledge that and tried to fix it. Plus what Lucy said at the end was kind of harsh “you are no longer one of them” ouch! Like below the belt kind of ouch! Seems like the only way for them to reconcile is for Lucy to realize that she loves Kate and doesn’t want to lose her, i.e for Kate to almost die/get hurt or any other life threatening situation.
okay, i get your point but just put yourself in lucys shoes and for a moment not tv but your life. would you really be that understanding from the beginning? no matter if straight or gay these miscommunications and trust issues need times. hopefully at least on tv not to much time🤣.

Btw even if the storyline is weak I love this actresses, they nailed their performances, and were able to make it less jarring

For some reason I don't want them back together 🌚Okay hear me out, Lucy have given everything to make this relationship work with this girl. And it's like she failed to do anything right and every time she's given a chance she turned back around and do the same BS. Time is too precious to be running back to the same person for the mistakes that should have taught them one or two times that they shouldn't do it again. Lucy have been hurt because of this girl way too many times and it's not working out. To me it's starting to feel forced like the writers just throwing a little lesbian scenes for whatever reason. I really don't want to see Lucy hurt anymore because of this girl it's starting to be upsetting at this point

@Angie S I guess, but this drama felt so unnecessary. The show has enought drama on its own.....And Whistler seems so smart yet moving to a different country without breaking up with your partner and expecting them to just let it go and let the relationship fizzle out was so stupid and covardly.
