What actually did happen. Let's sum it up. Whistler thought the relationship with ex-girlfriend was over. Ex-gf shows up out of the blue. Barring her calling Lucy up as soon as ex-gf arrives, she was going to tell ex-gf that it was over. How many people actually have conversations with current girlfriends/boyfriemds abouit old girlfriends/ex-boyfriends. But this situation was essentially, Whistler thought she broke up with old gf. old gf shows out of the blue, Lucy shows up at door, Whistler didn't have time yet to tell Lucy. That was it. Lucy then makes it all seem like the world ended, that Whistler cheated on her, broke her heart, etc... Completely overblown story line
whistler never broke up with her old gf she just moved and ghosted. then she spent the day texting her, including when lucy was with her and let her come over without giving lucy a heads up. they ordered food and where chilling in her apartment without Kate saying anything to her old gf when lucy showed up. I can understand why lucy was upset. I agree she blew it a bit out of proportion but Kate should have been honest with her, she had the chance.
