Such a brilliant sonata; I can see definitely without a doubt where chopin got some of his inspiration from, with Liszt behind andante of course, there's no doubt Hummel was a man of great class and consideration, who would never ever dane to avoid even the simplest of requests from those seeking true music. His works are among some of the most musically brilliant and without a doubt this well-written and thoughtful sonata pieces the fragile nature of what people considered music of that era. I cannot say for certain as to why this incredible diety of the music work is so barely-known now, even by the musically in-depth, but regardless of listener Hummel's phrasings and passagework stand the test of time, and when unleashed they create the most beautiful of memories. Bravo, Maestro Hummel for this work!
What a clear and obvious sound of Mozart and Haydn! Hummel actually was a disciple of them, Mozart and Haydn. He interpreted their music to his own way by utilizing fantasic-massives, something complicated or chord. In fact, He is said to have played a role of connecting between classism and romentism!
Agree. I hear a “bridge” between Beethoven and Chopin here, particularly in the improvisatory writing, and the vocally inspired ornamentation Chopin would so fully exploit later.
Sorry but it's not the Tristan chord, which is a french augmented sixth but simply the diminished seventh chord on the leading tone of the dominant c#, which is the fifth degree in F# minor.
Very very nice Sonata, bravoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
At a minimum, you should put the performer’s name (Hae-Won Chang) at the top of the description. Title or first thing in the video would be even more respectful.
@@Ludvich-y8i It took me 2 seconds to find out who the performer is. You are complaining because it isn’t scrawled across the screen in bold font behind the score as a watermark. Just use your eyes
idk about you but when i listen to music i just enjoy it/study it, but i guess some people like to go on youtube and comment about these petty little things because they like being pretentious and annoying

Schumann loved this piece. It inspired his Op. 8 in particular.
4:25 beautiful!
never listened until now, what an amazing work.

It's not Hyden: it's Haydn.
@@remomazzetti8757 I've used a lot😱 Gosh
Finally, a sheet music this masterpiece.
BTW, which record do you use?
20:02 this fugato reminds me of Beethoven's late sonatas
0:27 Tristan chord. 0:44 probably inspired Chopin for his Sonata No. 3 and 1:38 for his Sonata No. 1 Finale

I guess you mean Hummel, not Beethoven. There are very few links between Chopin and Beethoven, I’d say so few, they might not even exist :)

On retrouve des accents de son second concerto pour piano dans ce troisième mouvement de la sonate 5 non ?
Nice.

Epic
Performer in the recording?
I just wish uploaders could learn to give credit to the performers. Basic decency
There’s literally a link to the performance in the description. The performer is Hae-Won Chang
It says nowhere who the performer is

WOWW NICE, i never see this thanks
Did Beethoven see this score, what did he say?
Bella sonata ma soprattutto utile, soprattutto x le doppie note..
Who's the performer?! Very bad manners not to name him or her.
Check in the description. Hae-Wo Chang
Humnel Supera por lejos Beethoven inclusp chopin
@nuevomundo7184 -- .....Supera Chopin tambien? Lo dudo. BRAVO desde Acapulco!
Supassing Chopin? Good one. This piece in particular is not very great in the first place.
Te fumas un porro
Chopin potentially, but Beethoven?
@@orb3796 chopin surpasses beethoven you musically illiterate moron.
A small and long sonata. I'm off.
Aburrida como todas sus sonatas. Prefiero sus conciertos.
