Andy once you get the hang of this song, I suggest you try Chopin's famous op. 9 no. 2. Good beginner practice for left hand "bouncing" (pardon me if I don't know the terminology, I'm self taught too). It isn't easy, but not too difficult either, plus it's a very nice piece. I really enjoy playing it.
