    Very good Chef as I've made similar. Hope you had a nice Chinese New Year as I did preparing a 3 course meal for my family. We even watched the Dragon Dance a recent UA-cam video. They loved it. My girlfriend's favorite dish is sweet and sour pork so I gave her all what's leftover of it. She admitted she snacked on some before going to bed, lol. The next dish will be sometime next week. See you in the next video.

    Wow - you make this look so effortless. I did not realize you could cook chow mein noodles. I always thought they were just dehydrated crunchy toppers for a dish. One quick question, I noticed your strainer at the beginning, do you rinse your noodles before you blanch them? Thank you for an awesome, quick, and delicious looking meal!!!!!!

    I was surprised about leaving the blanched noodles to dry up to one hour. It makes sense so that the wok does not lose its heat from the hidden water droplets within the noodles.
    I'd opt for a small cloth or towel instead of using paper towels because supply (at the time of this comment) is limited due to "life".
    Thank you for the reminder :)

    • @HAPPYWOK
      @HAPPYWOK  2 роки тому +1

      Yes, that is correct. Less moisture noodle helps cook fast too. Small clean dry cloth or towel are much better, since they can absurd more moisture from the wet noodle. Yes, paper towel purchases stock shortage are here. Customers are limited to 1 pack per visit at the stores. Thanks for watching.

      @@HAPPYWOK I managed to concoct my own Soya Sauce Noodles a few minutes ago.
      What a difference allowing the noodles to dry up to one hour makes and now I understand that water moisture causes ingredients to stick to a hot wok.
