@@Beast_Mode_Jones I know two places : fragrancelines, which have a surprisingly vast offer, perfumesamplesanddecanter, or PS&D, also pretty good. Maxaroma sells 10 mil sprays in an unmarked bottle, that's also pretty good, because they are much cheaper (but genuine). And Lucky Scent, where you can buy samples (1 mil), but sometimes travel size bottles, also a good deal.
Amazing. I don't even clear $25,000 a year after taxes. LOL The most expensive fragrance in my collection is By Kilian (now Kilian Paris) Angel's Share. I smelled it when it first released in Canada and I fell in love with it immediately. Unfortunately, as I said, I don't make that much money but I took a chance after getting my sample to e-mail the By Kilian ambassador at the boutique that carries the brand to ask if he would be willing to save me a bottle. He agreed to hold one for me. In the meantime, throughout Canada, the fragrance quickly sold out. The other Holt Renfrew stores across Canada saw that the Montreal store had one bottle still in stock and were hounding him to send them the bottle but he stuck to his guns and hid the last bottle in his booth, so that when he wasn't at work, no one would find it and sell it. So I literally got the last available bottle in Canada of the first batch of Angel's Share. It's the crown jewel of my collection and I use it very sparingly. The price of the bottle was $260 CAD, with the taxes, it came to $299 and change, so about $300 which makes it $6 per ml.

Serge Diaghilev was a Russian ballet Impresario who started the Ballets Russes and the Ballet world was basically changed because of him. Appropriate that Roja made such a distinctive fragrance named after him.
Not a cheap hobby/passion for us in the fragrance community for sure ,however if we look at say philately (stamp collecting ), the price of some of the little squares of paper that were once licked and stuck on an envelope,can command 6 figures.so all things considered Seb we are not as crazy as we think lol 😂.great high end collection . I have attars that go for 100 bucks a ml but my most expensive perfume per ml would be my pure Parfums from Ensar Oud 500 bucks for 30 ml .cheers have a great weekend sir 🙏✌️

Great video idea! My most expensive fragrance is Sauvage Elixir. I loved the smell, found it on sale at Nord, and had to pick it up.
I wonder how much "air" is in some of these prices. I get a feeling that sometimes the bottle is more expensive than the juice. Of course it's hard to know what ingredients and chemicals each company is using and how expensive the ingredients are. FM says that they are using real oud oil, I kind of believe them but still the price seems very high. And in the end, basic designer "good" smelling fragrance will be more pleasurable to most people who are not into fragrances. But darn, I need to at least test some of FM frags LOL

Fell into the rabbit hole started off with designer then into cheaper niche Mancera Montale Aqua Di Palma then it escalated current most expensive Sweetie Aoud Roja £425 for 50ml but it's a stunning fragrance 👌

Heritage and Great Britain both have pride of place in my collection - I also have a decant of Parisian , really great one . I went through 2 bottles of Diaghilev edp when it was released ten plus years ago but the parfum is not as good . One you did not mention is from the house of Ahwaz called King's Harem . If you have not explored the house , you're missing out . Great video , thank you .

Great video showcase -- I have just a couple of these and love them... But my all-time #1 favorite isn't in your list, but I know you've tried it (on a video With Roja himself)... Chypre Extraordinaire -- I have a full size bottle which is JUST SLIGHTLY more expensive than Great Britain... I know CE doesn't get as much love as others in the Haute Luxe collection but it is ABSOLUTELY my favorite... I also own and LOVE Diaghilev, but not quite as much as Chypre Extraordinaire..

The most expensive bottles I have are imaginary authors but my favorite bottle I own is joop! Femme. Its the best winter fragrance imo and it seems like nobody wears it anymore.

The most expensive fragrance that I own is a 50 ml bottle of TF’s Vert D’encens. It smells like a mixture of a pine forest and incense. It’s ~ $425 for a 50 ml bottle but totally with it (I love the smell - it’s very unique). I also acknowledge that it is a super strong/stinky fragrance so a person has to be careful when applying it or you can easily knock someone over. A little goes a long ways! Edit: I see that a person can get it online at eBay, etc. much cheaper although I question its authenticity. I bought it from a authorized seller when it first came out and it cost me more than $400.
My most expensive may be tied with 100ml bottles of Nishane Hacivat & Roja Elysium. They average around $255, but I think Hacivat is a tad higher on average! Hacivat is also my favorite fragrance so far because of the kickin scent and beastly performance! I added up my collection a couple days ago and it's around $1500 with 12 bottles.

Next time you visit saks, you should try the new version of black phantom. Make sure you bring your old bottle with you, and compare the two. They are completely different!
I tried an older version of black phantom and it smells miles better than the new version. So much more sweetness in the old version and it’s like the butchered the new one.

@@ThePerfumeGuy I know exactly how you feel. I had a sample made for me at Saks and when I got my bottle in they smelled TOTALLY different. I contacted Saks and they said they weren’t aware of any change in the formulation.
In the older version you can very clearly pick out the dark chocolate and sweet almond with coffee.
In the new one which they claim hasn’t been reformulated, even though the color of the fragrances are completely different, it smells almost the same but it’s just missing SO much sweetness. Maybe I can’t really pick out what is missing, bc I don’t have as much experience smelling different notes, but they definitely dialed it down to the point that you can detect the difference when they are side by side.
So annoying because I literally fell in LOVE with the sample of black phantom. I just knew I wanted a full bottle. Then when it came in it was totally different, and the disappointment I felt was immeasurable lol.

At the moment, of my full bottles, it's FDB's Sahraa Oud and CC's Cosmos Flower. Of my samples, it's Roja's Chypre Extraordinaire and UAE.

Wow!!! My most expensive fragrance in my collection is Louis Vuitton Cosmic Cloud. I think the mark up was due to that special bottle. I didn’t care about the fancy bottle, I just really love the juice 🤣🤣

The night is a fantastic fragrance but arabian oud does a fragrance called oriental oud and it’s almost identical and only cost £200 for 100ml

As I've been trying to get my own business off the ground, I don't currently have the income to go too crazy purchasing the pricier fragrances. Plus, I love travel-size and smaller bottles because I'll never in a million years go through all that I currently have, lol All that being said, I do have a 50ml of BR540 Extrait and that is my priciest bottle (though I did get it for a great deal). Second priciest is Unnamed by Byredo and after that, Sundazed and a few Diptyques. I want Vanille Antique so, so bad 😭 but it'll probably end up having to be a decant situation for me. First world problems for sure, though! 🙃

Most expensive I own is FM The Moon. I tried The Night in store due to your love of it but oh my god I found it horrific. So did all the attendants in Selfridges. I think it takes a special kind of nose to appreciate it but I don’t know a single person who finds it remotely nice.

@@I_am_gids haha oh my god I wasn’t that brave. Just a card and air smell was bad enough so you’re braver than me haha. But yeh, if I had sprayed it on me I’d have avoided putting anyone else through it in a confined space haha :)
My most expensive perfume is Diaghilev and it was a gift, otherwise I’d not have this beautiful fragrance. As it wears me, instead of the other way ‘round, it’s a very special occasion perfume as it definitely makes an entrance.
Try Mitsouko by Guerlain, it is very similar and not very expensive. 😊

My most expensive fragrance is Tibetan Musk by Ensar Oud which was about $600. However I don’t like it that much.. Actually I need to try it again. I have lots of 2-300$ fragrances and I just ordered Lua bb Xerjoff and aI am so excited to get it. So soft, feminine and elegant.
I sold my F$cking Fab and £ wound up disliking it.
