I am glad you chose the one with English lyrics as the text of this song is a big part of its essence. It is a vocal masterpiece. More than seven minutes of power and grace. So Hyang is another level. You should hear her latest song 'Angel' from her busking on a street in Spain recently. She still brings it at 46, with that voice and heart. Thanks for the reaction!

The PHENOMENAL So Hyang said this was the most difficult song she had ever performed because she had to figure out where to take a breath. Untol recently, this was the one and only time she sang this song publicly. So Hyang didn't believe she was healthy enough to sing it again. However, she performed this song again, live, on 07/23/24.
During So Hyang's cancer surgery two decades ago, she contracted Hepatitis B or C from a blood transfusion. Her compromised immune system has made her suseptible to bouts of severe pneumonia (eight times between 2016 - 2020).

Charlene, thanks. You have an extra quality as a reactor/coach because you feel the music so I was glad that you saw this. I said saw because, in order to understand Sohyang, you need to SEE her sing. As you know, she is deeply religious, a Gospel singer from her roots, and this IS her Cornerstone performance. It is a Sermon from the sweetest preacher you ever heard. That Acapella section was exquisite, perfect, she spoke to us, and then that last minute of the performance is the essence of pure Joy. Who else could do this? Only Sohyang. Beauty, grace, power, of person and of voice. When she soars onto those high notes with a straight tone and then unleashes that shimmering Vibrato, it is like nothing you've ever heard . . . . Sorry about gushing, but Sohyang IS the finest of Sopranos and very likely the finest person on the planet.
