@@F_letc.h I think the Hydra is better for getting really deep into sound design - it has endless possibilities. The minifreak has less deep sound design but is much better at live performance and sounds great.
I can imagine uses for every one of these; They're incredibly well done. I've never bought a preset pack before but I will be buying this, maybe even to simply learn how they were created
Really like 017, Neophyte. Has some modern electronics crossed with old Peter Gabriel record tones. I like your presets, they to smoother and prettier, intricate places that the edgier sounds others have favoured (though Cyberdyne is edgier but very nice). Like you've paid more attention to wavetable selection, modulation depth and getting the filtering just right. And there's some nice rave/hardcore touches in there too, with the chord stacks (chord memory?). You almost get in sounding like an old sampler, like a W-30 or Emulator, even though it's all synthesized. Nice arps too. And you get it sounding multi-timbral on some patches too, like the 039: Gaming one. Some Flying Lotus vibes too on some of those, like Cloud Castle.
Thanks! I like the neophyte one too as it sounds very acoustic like a thumb piano or something. Glad you enjoyed the presets ~ I did spend a heck of a lot of time making them ☺️
These are so good! Very musical and inspiring, but I don't have a Hydrasynth. Maybe turn them into a sample pack as well for something like Descent Sampler or another platform? That said, it looks like you have good controls built in specifically for the Hydrasynth that couldn't be quickly replicated for a sampler.
Great sounds. Looks like you named the macro controls too, which is always appreciated 👍

amazing sounds! I just ordered an explorer and it should arrive on Thursday. Pumped!
Thank you for these patches. These are the sort of hydra synth sounds I’ve been wanting to hear. Cheers!
Glad you enjoyed them! I spent a long time putting them together.
@@TheUnperson you did a great job! I’m curious which synth you prefer - the hydra synth or the mini freak?

005 has a very nice Plaits chords vibe.
