Step 1 - Turn off the device by pressing the Power button (if not already off).
Step 2 - Now, press the Volume up, Power and Menu button all together until the device vibrates and Samsung logo appears.
tep 3 - The device will now successfully boot into recovery mode. Once done, Select “Wipe data / Factory reset” from the options. Use volume up and down key for navigation and Power key to select the option.
Note: Do remember at this stage, your mobile touch screen will not work.
Step 4 -Now select “Delete all user data” - tap “yes” to continue with the reset Samsung process.
Step 5 - Finally when the process is complete, tap on ‘Reboot system now” to welcome a factory restored and fresh Samsung Galaxy device.
Now restart your device which will complete your process of factory reset and thus you would have overcome a lot of issues.

It worked on mi galaxy S10e !!! Thank you. For the ones that dosent work, it may be because your phone has a google acount insted of a samsung acount activated.
@Mariam Chaker No problem :) you must have a linked samsung account. If it has a link account from Google I am not sure if it works. You must turn off the phone. Once off you will press the lock and volume down button at the same time until the samsung logo appears just like the video in min 2:35(If the menu dosent appear it will be a bit different depending the phone like power and home button). Release the buttons and after a while a menu will appear which with the volume keys you can control up or down in the menu and select with the lock button. You will select the option that says factory reset and confirm it. Then select reboot system now and thats it. The good and bad news is that it will delete everything, passcodes, the linked account and all your information like photos etc. It will be like a new phone.

I followed the procedure however after the factory, I was being ask to sign in to gmail using the previous account be logged-in. "This device was reset. To continue, sign in with a Google Account that was previously snced on this device"

A few days ago I lost my phone and I've no idea if it is in somebody else's hands right now (very likely since, apparently, it turned off a little too soon despite the fact that I had charged it enough).
I tried blocking it through my Samsung Account (which will work as soon as 'my' phone connects to any Internet network), but since it still hasn't worked I was wondering if there was any chance that the new owner, before I even thought of blocking the phone, had already removed my Samsung account without using a password (rendering everything I've done up until this point useless).
Let's just say that this video disquieted me quite a bit '-'
did you buy the phone? check with Samsung account, you can report it to the police if you can get the imei number it can be registered through the police and cell phone companies as a stolen phone which is a lot harder to do.
the other thing is this is only the Samsung account lock not the google account lock which as far as i know is much harder to remove let alone reporting the imei number as stolen. you just need proof that you own the phone to do that though.
if you bought the phone directly from Samsung or through a plan it should be possible to track down it's imei number

I didn't really wish for it to delete all my stuff on my phone like contacts, apps, etc. Not really what I wished for. And now, I'm on my account again! Nothings new but I restarted everything for no reason.

Beware. Don't do this. It wont remove samsung account on newer samsung version. Doing this will lock your phone once the reset process is complete. You will be force to re-use your last samsung account. Better try to recover your account password. If not, dont ever reset.

It's someone as used this method whit a SM-N910F whit the stock roms android 6.0.1 ? It's a my brother phone...... it's using his samsung account on a note 10+ and here same credentials it's not works and we can't turn oem unlocker or remove this account from phone.
If from stock android recovery it's simply need to do a factory reset it's not a big problems for me..... it's me intent to install a custom roms inside it.

I do not have a setting for the OEM Unlock in developer options. I am running says I am running Android 8.0.0 and Samsung Experience 9.0. The device is Samsung J3 Orbit. Genius those evil bstrds had me on a loop because I put in different Gmail ac when logging into Samsung health. Couldn't reset as email kept going round and round. Nightmare so did a reset. Samsung stick to hardware. Ps Bixby is shit too and has an infuriating dedicated on power button on note 10!!😭

It doesn't work. It still says to check my email for verification but the problem is the email is already deleted so I cannot access it at all.
I bought a galaxy a10 that I think was stolen the account never let me reset the phone to factory settings. But if u do it this way u can reset it and just create another account when prompted to sign back in

So what about Factory reset lock, if you hard reset it makes you put the password in now, My S6 is bricked because of this. I even had the right password but due to some funky glitch it still bricked.

I've known about and use developing options for a while I don't see any OEM settings and don't know how to pull them up where they at how do you get them you cut the screen so I don't know what you did while the screen was switching your off or if you have extra access because you're a developer or what but it'd be really nice to explain where the OEM setting is please
