Sess takes Browns Broncos (over Bills Eagles!) with his first pick which turns out to be a Shook game 😂😂😂 he knows what he's doing
Now the real season starts - Football is back baby!
Dan admit it - u would crawl over broken glass to have Tua as ur QB right now. So enuf with the hating
Taylor is 4-20 without Burrow, for a win rate of .166, or 17%
Belichick is 13-6 in games where Brady was on the team but out with injury, for a win rate of .684, or 68%
Belichick is 27-34 since Brady left, for a win rate of .442, or 44%
As bad as Belichick has looked this year, and how much worse the team has been since Brady left, Zac Taylor looks significantly worse when Burrow isn't available. So as much as Dan wanted to compare the two, it's not even close, and Greg's point was valid.
Yep, Burrow is why the Bengals turned it around, and the org needs to realize that they won't reach the mountaintop if they keep Taylor for too long. If they don't go far in the playoffs in either 2024 or 2025, then the Bengals should look for a new head coach. The Bills are in a similar spot with McDermott. Both coaches are good but not great.
Yes, as a Ravens fan keep Taylor as long as possible :D@@matthewmazzatto8003
W
Excellent comment, Taylor is not a difference maker.
I think it was Bill Parcells that told Vinatieri "If you miss this you're gone."
As a Bills Mafia member, I've woken up hurt many a Monday morning; however, I'm officially depressed.
Minshew is one of the best back up QBs in the league. Most teams are dead in the water if they lose their starting QB (Bengals, Jets), the Colts can still make the playoffs.
The colts are dead as well.
I can't fathom why some teams completely ignore their backup QB. The Bengals season is over now, the Jets were dumb enough to think that should anything happen to Rodgers Wilson can be useful. It's their own doing for failing to have a proper backup in mind. Even the Browns with a winning record could sink their season because they got rid of Dobbs before the season started
@@Dan_Sterling Colts are 6-5 and have a chance to secure tie-breakers over the Texans and Steelers later this year. They could very well make the playoffs.
@@matthewmazzatto8003they are drawing dead with a back up qb. Making the playoffs and losing round 1 is not an accomplishment.
@@jayjayson9613I'm a Vikings fan. We lost Kirk Cousins for the year and getting Dobbs not only saved their season they could possibly win a playoff game or at least have some hope!!
What the guys dont understand about the falcons rush game is that Parker Hesse is back babyyy
Don’t forget his 61 yard field goal walk off win against the giants
Scottish listener here. Ravens fan est 1994.
Just throwing that out there.
How is it possible you’re a ravens fan since 1994?
@@thepoppabear grandmother had a lot of channels and I didn't sleep much. Wasnt often I stayed round but used to catch the odd match. Was between dolphins and ravens as I was a child and those were my favourite animals.
Will Kunkel is a former Panthers beat/insider who moved to Houston and still reports on the Panthers for some reason.
1:11:38 Aaron Rogers is also not the answer. You might get one, maybe two very good seasons out of him but then that's your lot and you're back to looking for a new QB. The ridiculous idea that Zach Wilson was gonna sit behind Rogers is well and truly dead. So what's the long term plan?
Give the jags their respect.
wonder how Dan feels with Desmond Ridder back in his life
Zeuser not realizing Gregg cut his teeth on the mean streets of New Orleans during his college years... of course he has the finger on the pulse of the big easy!
"The Big Easy" should be Derek Carr's nickname btw
Every season Kansas City goes for a run. They just started theirs and it will carry them into the playoffs.
It's going to be wonderful when Eagles are one-and-done in the playoffs.
Dan saying Isaiah PACHENKO is so funny to me
Minchew and Baker definitely sat down and talked jetskis after the game tho
“I dont trust the (8-3) jags still” cool, i dont trust you either.
The jags almost lost to a Matt Canada Steelers team. I don’t trust them yet either but they’re on the upward trajectory.
@@darthvader5685 yeah almost lost a game they led the entire time and win by 10. Keep dreaming pal.
did you even watch that game? it wasnt even remotely close. LMFAO. they barely scored once. almost lost he says... hahahaha@@darthvader5685
Why is Dan so against Stafford being in the HoF? His stats alone make him borderline, the SB just seals it. Definitely not 1st ballot or anything but he’s a lock
Browns season is cursed at the quarterback position but Myles not being injured good news
Jalen Hurts sruggled in the first half but he "keep the main thing the main thing." He must have ice water in his veins. I know I didn't watching the game.
Bills just need to quit playing in Game of the Year games.
They need to clean house and get a new GM and head coach.
AJ brown fumbled. they did make a play. insane
Pretty clearly an incompletion no 3rd step never made a football move
where does it say you need 3 feet down, everywhere else on the field you need two feet down for it to be considered a catch. he also tucked the ball and made a move upfield @@stevensawyer5784 . the d player punched the ball out as he was tucking it and turning upfield, should have been a fumble. this is the rule.
secures control of the ball in his hands or arms prior to the ball touching the ground; and
touches the ground inbounds with both feet or with any part of his body other than his hands; and
after (a) and (b) have been fulfilled, performs any act common to the game (e.g., tuck the ball away, extend it forward, take an additional step, turn upfield, or avoid or ward off an opponent), or he maintains control of the ball long enough to do so.
The Patriots and the Jets are the most tremendous dumpster fires lol
And outside of the AFC East, nobody really cares.
Panthers says hold my beer. They're sending their 1st round pick to Bears and right now it seems it will be the #1 pick LOL! And that's for picking Young over Stroud too which makes it even more hilarious xDDDD
@@eddiewinehosen6665 We don't know whether Young might eventually be a better quarterback than Stroud. We do know that Carolina was a weak team before they traded up for the number one pick and they gave up everything for that. So they put themselves in that position. That's tough on Young. But it's also tough on the fans of Carolina. Everybody is going to have to be patient.
I think for the boys not to talk about the refereeing in that game is crazy. Yes I’m super salty rn, yes the Bills should’ve won that game and it’s on them. But at the same time, they played good enough against a team like the eagles to NEARLY win that game with about a dozen different flukey crappy plays going against them. About 3 missed PI’s and a personal foul agaisnt diggs. The EGREGIOUS non horse-collar/intentional grounding call, and a dozen more. They also had two TDs lost on a miscommunication and a dropped TD catch. Just brutal
Give it a rest, like most NFL games now there's horrible calls against both teams. The two false starts against Kelce at the end, give me a break, one of the best Centers in the league false starts twice?
They only talk about refs when it benefits KC. Also horse collar is only for the back not the front where he was grabbed mostly
@@eddiewinehosen6665 that’s not a bad call you can literally watch him false start twice. And it wasn’t like any NFL game it was easily top 3 worst officiated games I’ve seen all time
Eagles defense is gonna end this train, just watch. There defense stinks and its gonna bite them in the ass one day.
Is it possible that a QB as great & talented as Josh Allen can go an ENTIRE career without a win in OT?!
Cuz it's REALLY starting to feel like an impossible task with this team!
Seriously, how does a top 5 QB on a talent filled roster not able to pull out ANY clutch wins in OT?!!
Thought the Diggs drama was bad last offseason?
Imagine what's gonna happen if or when we miss the playoffs!!
Heads WILL roll in Buffalo...💯
Coaching sir. Allen has proven many times he’s clutch in 4th Quarter comebacks
Head should roll in Buffalo, you need better coaching and GM. He's failed to surround one of the best QB's in the league with proper weapons.
@@Jared_Merksfans love blaming coaches and hate blaming players. Sorry to break it to you but 6 out of 6 has a lot to do with Allen. SCORE A TOUCHDOWN
The officiating was trash across multiple games.
24:30 Nice try Dan, Gregg is absolutely right about the win percentage thing. “Whatever” indeed lol
Does that matter though if the other AFC East teams lose to everyone else? And so what the Patriots did better against the other teams? That's 10 games vs 6 games. Would make sense over a 20 year period. Sounds like one of the stats that skew perception without really understanding what the stat is actually saying.
@@tiotito31 What? The point of calling the AFC East weak, which it certainly was, is to suggest that the Pats were not as good as we would otherwise think because they got a free ride into the playoffs each year. The fact that they were even better outside of the division (and brady even won 73% of playoff games vs 75% of regular season games) clearly shows the weak division was not the source of their success.
If the Eagles play like this next week, the 49ers will spank them badly, so will the Cowboys the week after. I'm calling it now, the Eagl;es will lose their next two games.
Theyll split somehow
Keep calling it we love being underdogs
@@matthewburnett3894who considers you underdogs? 😂
@@DamonClarke-uo3edapparently lots of people think we are underdogs.
@@jasonmitchell3227 chip on your shoulder much.
Taysom Hill should be the starting QB.
Gregg Rosenthal can't even hide his disgust/dissapointment on his face with the Russell Wilson and the Broncos resurgence. 🤣 He was just so sure the Browns defense was going to end the streak and his run. Sorry Gregg. And prepare to feel miserable the next 4-5 years because Russ isn't going anywhere any time soon. ANd he's going to be even better next year with a 2nd year in this offense and Marvin Mims getting more snaps at WR as their most explosive weapon. Not to mention enhancement at the TE position. Just imagine how miserable it will be for Gregg if Russ wins another Super Bowl.
Won't ever happen. Russ is not good enough and age will make sure he declines! I don't hate Broncos but Russ is not winning another SB!
Dan is such a Josh Allen hater.
That Bills loss was Allen's fault. On their last drive in OT, if he makes the right decision the Bills win. But he didn't. Gabe Davis cuts to the outside, Allen throws to the inside. The way this play is set up is for the WR to cut in or out based on how the defenders spread out during the play and both the WR and QB need to come to the same conclusion, Davis made the right call and Allen didn't.
Allen's performance was worthy of a win against nearly any other team and QB but it wasn't against the best team in the league and leading MVP candidate in Hurts. Minor mistakes like the above can't happen in the most critical play of the game when your playing a team like the Eagles.
Greg - when was the time mccorkle had a good game? Enuf with the Tua hating bra 🇮🇱
