What's hilarious is Andy Reid admits the refs normally help him and instead of throwing a flag like THEYRE SUPPOSED TO AND DID...issue him a warning the first time...wild
The onside kick to ice the game was definitely the most interesting play, just because of how rare something like that is. If they just showed a random TD pass, most people wouldn't have known it occured. Any time a game is won by a special teams play (discounting a FG short of 55 yards) it should be in consideration for the play of the game.
If some other QB like Lamar did 25% of what Mahomes did after that game he would be getting ridiculed.... The fact that Mahomes kept complaining about it to Josh Allen when they met up to shake hands after the game is crazy.
Disgracefully childish behavior from Mahomes and Reid. I genuinely can't remember a player a podium whining about a call he ADMITS was correct. They seem to think they're above the league. Don't call back MY TDs man, I'm Pat Mahomes. Pathetic🙄
What's hilarious is Andy Reid admits the refs NORMALLY GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO HELP HIM and instead of throwing a flag like THEYRE SUPPOSED TO AND DID FOR ONCE...issue him a warning the first time THEY COMMIT A PENALTY... The game between the Vikings and raiders was actually torture. The entire time I was screaming “SOMEONE SCORE ALREADY!” Like i get both teams have great defenses, but Jesus Christ.
Absolutely love the chiefs not getting every call and getting to see how Mahomes acts when he doesn’t get his way. Would love to see some more of it the rest of the year
They've been calling offensive offsides constantly this year. They called it on the Eagles tonight Officials have been really bad all year; I don't see the point of shitting on them when they finally get something right, just because it's Mahomes and Kelce losing.
I agree. I also thought Miller was offsides on that play. I also think there have been, in this game with the Chiefs and with many other teams over the season, blatant false starts with offensive tackles that aren't being called.
Been listening to the podcast each week since this season began. First time watching. Dan looks more or less like he sounds. Gregg looks EXACTLY like how he sounds. Marc though? Way bigger guy with more beard than I was expecting. p.s. Chiefs fan. Ugliest Mahomes' season for us so far, but I still think Mitch Holthus' words ring true: You can doubt the Chiefs, you can dislike the Chiefs, you can disrespect the Chiefs: You're gonna have to deal with the Chiefs. Let's go!
I think Maholmes' blowup at the end of the game is a bad look. Less than a year ago, the Chiefs themselves were the beneficiary of a technically-true-but-kind-of-ticky-tack defensive holding call that allowed them to salt away a Super Bowl win. The offending player, after the game, owned it, and the Eagles took the loss on as a team. The Chiefs should have taken that same attitude.
The anger was more than just the call, it was clearly a build up of emotion not just from that game but all season. Plus this had the atmosphere of a play off game which heightened emotions
Agreed, his point about "let the players play" rings false as he is a true whiner complaining whenever he doesn't get a call his way and pointing at the flag when he does. He also baits and uses the rule to get PFs when sliding and going out of bounds. All that is gamesmanship, but he needs to not be a whiny hypocrite when he does not get his way.
Apparently, I'm in the top 8% of listeners on Spotify so I thought I would try the UA-cam stream for the first time. It's almost like watching the 1960 Presidential debate, if you listened to it on radio you thought Nixon won, if TV Kennedy....and I have to say, I prefer the Nixon method.
I totally agree. Mahomes is average this year and although always dangerous they can't win 2 road playoff games it will be a Super Bowl with 2 new teams this year
What fan is sick of Duvernay? Gregg Ravens facts are off. In the week 14 preview he said they're completely healthy. Sess says what about Mark Andrews?
Re the Saints game. Thinking the same thing as Dan. Watching the media last night crap all over this team and Carr. Celebrate the win. They were down three of the most productive receivers (Shaheed Taysom and Thomas) Carr was less than healthy yet still scored 28. They were down two starters in the defensive backfield and Jordan barely played yet only allowed 6. Listening to the local media you would have thought the lost by 22. I know it was Carolina but jezz
Did you even watch the game? We won the game in spite of Carr not because of him. Fans are aware that any other team in the league, if we played like that would be a giant LOSS. Fans who know football are not satisfied with a QB they broke the bank on performing at a low tier level. Media SHOULD be all over the way the team played. Injuries are NO excuse. Carr said himself every team has a shitload of injuries. Panthers outgained us by 100 yards on offense. The RAN the ball for more yardage than our total yards of 200 yards. McCoy apologized for the Carr argument. Carr DID NOT. And for your information if we had played a halfway decent team we WOULD have lost by 40 points. Carr in his presser acted like he was the hero when he played horrendous.
I can't believe you guys are defending this cry baby behavior. The logic is upside down: Refs get hammered because they dont see a penalty - they saw what was clearly a penalty but ... they're not supposed to call that one? When did humans start ti get so stupid. It was a good call.
Not surprised. The media would eviscerate Lamar if he had that type of reaction. Look at how many ppl never let Cam get over just sulking in press conference after Super Bowl. Mahomes is the new golden boy
Why? Because they actually called something that is against the rules? Typical whiny QB's, they lost so now we blame the officials for FOLLOWING THE RULE BOOK?
No, it's still all on Mahomes, he needs to be a better leader, build better chemistry with his WR confidence and stop ruining his WRs confidence with his childish outbursts. Mahomes should take his WR to the aprk to play catch in the off season! LOL. It's hilarious to see the media reaction to what's going on with Mahomes and his WR's. Because it is a totally different reaction to the exact same thing that happened to Aaron Rodgers last season in GB, week after week the WR's would screw up, drop passes (2nd in the league), run the wrong routes (%30 of the time) and commit penalties. Yet all the blame was put on Rodgers and the media crucified him, said he was washed, a poor leader, a locker room cancer, wouldn't run plays the coach called and said his looking disappointed on the sideline after the WRs screwed up was ruining the WRs confidence. They even said the reason it was Rodger's fault was because he didn't hang out with his WRs in the off season to play catch with them.
Look at all the hate watching on the Chiefs. Now I understand what its like being the best team in the league for so long people just cant handle it. All the couch experts rise and say Mahomes is average? Mahomes is still driving the bus just sit back and enjoy the ride before he sends your team to the wrong end of that highlight real.
The chiefs downfall is greatly overstated. On the bright side at least Pat can finally win away playoff games since the trolls use him playing at home against him.
Sometimes Dan acts like the biggest chiefs fan it’s annoying. If prime Tom Brady on the pats just pulled what mahomes did with all the complaining Dan would not be agreeing at all.

I don't mind Mahomes off the field, seems like a decent dude, but his constant childish complaining and entitlement on the field has been getting on my nerves for years and it takes away from all the good he does for me. He's become very unlikeable to watch. And so today was hilarious 😂
