    Hello yonith, how long, right? I prefer not to talk or look at anything about dizziness; but I think I owe it to you and if you want to leave the information in the community that I think will cure me completely; I had an up and down in August because my father died. .. but after 3 years of suffering I can say that I am cured; I no longer even use a cane for fear of falling; I hope that dizziness never returns to my life... a yonith hug and if I could, everyone can.

      Paying attention to yonith and studying his videos a lot and understanding that PPPD is nothing more than a name for a brain error; and working and exposing myself for a long time.

      Thank you Dr. Jonith; you saved my life; for those who ask me how I did it; first watch all the Dr.'s videos; and study them well; in my specific case I noticed that dizziness is fueled by the fear we have of it; and make sure you are HEALTHY; the name of the disease does not matter; PPPD is just a name that doctors give when it is a chronic dizziness without any cause; you should not give it a single second of your time; and never think about it; nor talk to anyone about the dizziness I have NO; I'm fine, thank you; and don't check what level of dizziness I have today; don't stop doing anything out of fear; you do it; but it's no use doing it and saying it's shit dizziness; you have to do it forgetting it; first my life revolved around seasickness; As soon as I woke up I thought about him; when you add all this advice and patience and a lot of effort; it won't be 3 days; it took me time; and I assure you and yonith can confirm since I have spoken a lot in the forum that my level of dizziness was terrible; I couldn't take two steps without leaning on the wall; this is not chronic; it is heavy but chronic it is not; follow Yonith's advice; enter their community; they are all good people; after 5 months without any symptoms I dare to to say that I am cured; I hope I never have to watch videos of dizziness again; and these 3 years will remain like a bad dream; from Spain; sincerely, Oscar de la Fuente Rodríguez.

    I stil have head pressure, brain fog and balance issues, but I'm super grateful I haven't had anymore violent episodes of vertigo. I pray those episodes never return 🙏

    I wanted to let you know how much you have helped me. My symptoms started almost exactly one year ago with a nasty bout of BPPV. After about 6 weeks, my symptoms were improving when suddenly they took a turn for the worse. What I realized after I started watching your channel is that these renewed symptoms were most likely caused by the sudden loss of a very close family member. For the next 5 months I struggled with dizziness, brain fog, etc. After finding your videos and learning about the impact of unresolved emotional issues on my symptoms, I started to deal with the pent up grief that I had unconsciously been repressing. Once I recognized and began dealing with my loss, I started improving immediately. I went through the ups and downs just as you described in this video. I rarely experience any symptoms at this point, with the exception of minor issues when a major low pressure weather system moves through the area. It took about 10 months in total, but I consider myself 99% 'cured', and I cannot thank you enough!

    This video has come at the perfect time for me. Had a few good days (still dizzy but not as noticeable). Today has been annoying with symptoms I haven't had for a while returning and I felt very disappointed for reacting with panic and anger towards myself.

      I’ve had it consistently for 4 months all day everyday. Yesterday and today have been almost back to normal! I didn’t know what was going on then the anxiety that came with it was overwhelming. I was shot in the stomach kidney and liver so . This feeling like I’m near death body in fight or flight and just didn’t know how to come out of it! Understanding it can be cured it’s not the end of the world just stay calm! It’s easy to say now talking about it would send me into a spell! Hope and pray it all gets well!

      @@jackiek4159I’m still going threw it! Lol! But it’s getting easier.! The supermarket is the absolute worst. It comes on so strong and so fast.! Even when taking anxiety meds. I’ve been going to the chiropractor doing balance workouts. I’ve my neck still all the same things as before. Just lay back and go on the ride. Chill while it’s happening close my eyes stick my figures in my ears. Say it’s ok I’m ground I’m not going to die . I’m in a safe place repeat until it subsides! Making myself do more and stay more active when it gets to overwhelming I take a break. I’m going to a neurologist next month just got my hormones checked waiting for those results. Going to get my eyes checked. Ruling out everything I can that I have control over!. And lots And Lots And Lots of Prayer!!!!!!!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

    I appreciate your content so much! I rationally know what you’re saying is true, but it’s so easy to get caught up in the stress of dizziness that we quickly spiral back into panic and danger mode. Dizziness is just SO horrible. Thank you for the great reminders in this video. You’re so knowledgeable, and frankly just awesome!

    Yes! I see my symptom flares as the lovely neural connection my brain has made when I am feeling stressed. Whereas I used to get stomach upset or have muscle tension when stressed, now my brain says, “Slow down! You are stressed! I’m going to make you dizzy to slow you down!” I’m grateful for this channel and all the great information. I’ve managed to reduce my fight/flight response significantly. I just tell myself, “This too shall pass.” When I’m focused on other things (life activities), my symptoms are hardly noticeable. Thank you! ❤

    I love your message! I am in the most difficult place right now with PPPD, following a recent Ménière’s attack. I’ve had Ménière’s for 25 years, but only formally diagnosed in the last 2 1/2 yrs, after 4 wrong diagnoses.
    Constant dizziness, headaches, pressure, tinnitus and visual problems are 24/7. But your channel is really helping me to understand how I can look to the future to get better. Exercising everyday, going to physiotherapy and really starting to understand how my mind and body 0:17 need to better understand each other, is pointing me in the right direction. I’m fortunate that I am retired and can spend time on myself now, can’t imagine this if I was dealing with kids and a career! Keep it coming Dr Yo !

    It’s going in a year and a half for me with the dizziness, the neurologist finally said that I have vestibular migraine. They put me in an antidepressant but it’s not working I’ve had severe dizziness for three weeks straight. I’m going back to neurologist on April 16. Thank you your videos have been so helpful I just want to be better just like everybody else. Thank you for all your support

    OMG I feel like comming home and finally beeing understood! 5 months after massive car accident still struggling with diziness, vertigo and constant confusement. I feel like someone finally named it whats wrong with me and even has an explanation for it. I wonder how doctors might have NO IDEA about it and say we are all fine and simulating.

    Excellent information! My feeling of moving is definitely less, but then some mornings it’s ramped up more, settles down. I’m not thinking about feeling that motion like getting off a cruise. Wasn’t on a cruise this motion came on after going chemo. In inner vibrations are less as well yes! I’ll take it! Thank you DocI

    Very very helpful thank you. I have had dizziness for several months, apparently set off by a long international flight. I had been improving over the last few weeks but had a dip last week, which seemed to be related to some stressful events. This video was so comforting to know that this is common, and to be expected, with chronic dizziness. Now I need to find ways of trying to better manage stress and its impacts in my dizziness

    I just signed up for your courses after watching so many of your videos. I have suffered with dizziness for 4 years now and seen all the specialists. My neurologist is sending me to a pain management dr. since she thinks my migraines and dizziness may be from arthritis and stenosis seen from MRI. I think its a new rabbit hole for me to venture down and still find no relief. I am hoping your courses help!! thank you for all the information.

    Hi Dr. Yo, thank you so much for this information! I discontinued my birth control over 2 years ago and this is when my dizzy symptoms and insomnia began. Could this have thown off my neural circuit? Also, I at that time, I was in school part-time and worked a very stressful full-time job. I can definitely identify when I am in threat mode because the symptoms appear. But there are also other times that I should not be in threat mode but have butterflies, sometimes with or without dizziness/lightheaded symptoms. Is it possible that I have this neural circuit problem?

      It is - often neural circuit problems are started by real biological triggers like hormonal changes, and then the stress and fear and anxiety keep them going.

      It seems to maybe help with anxiety in a mild way. It does not cure symptoms.

    Mine started from BPPV. Seems like my dips occur from positional changes and visual changes. It’s changing so much, not sure what else I can do. Everything else in my life is pretty darn good rn. 🤷🏻‍♀️

      This means the brain is responding to those positional changes and visual changes as sources of threat.

    Thank you for this video. I have had vertigo for 3 years with breakthrough’s every 6-9 months. But dizziness was only an issue for 1-2 days after the vertigo attacks. More recently I have had dizziness that is more chronic, now lasting a week, and anxious that I met get an attack of vertigo. Help?

    Hi Dr Yo, you don't have to respond to this but if you did that'd be awesome. I was wondering if you've ever had patients that have neural circuit dizziness/vestibular migraine/post concussion syndrome related dizziness that are incredibly sensitive to bearing down/straining. (I'm also very sensitive to screens/tv/video games, it's best if I sleep only once per day, and laying down in bed is my most comfortable position.) I've had this for 8 years, I've had my full medical workup, all tests come back normal, no Superior Canal Dehiscence, no Perilymph Fistula, no CSF leak, diagnosis of MdDS/Vestibular Migraine after head injury, confirmed by Yale, Johns Hopkins, and University of Wisconsin Madison. but if I strain decently hard from lifting weights my dizziness gets INSANEly bad for like 3 weeks straight before calming back down to "normal" (regular bad). The only reason I mention this is because I'm going through your free course on neural circuit dizziness and when it comes to "common triggers" there is a warning about straining being a consistent trigger and that I should tell my doctor (and believe me I've told alllllll my doctors). So I wonder, are there others that also have straining, like lifting weights, be a big trigger for their dizziness? For example it recommends strength training over aerobic exercise because its a little more measurable and doesn't activate the sympathetic nervous system as much I suppose, but for me I find the opposite (not that aerobic exercise is great or anything) but I can very easily overdo lifting and then pay for it and make myself dizzy for days to weeks afterward. have you seen this before? If you see this or respond to this thanks so much, sorry for the really long message! also thanks for all the resources!!!

      The big question is whether there is third window syndrome. It sounds like that has been thoroughly ruled out for you so I would address this symptom as a neural circuit one.

      VNG testing is the gold standard for determining if there is an inner ear issue- and there are some others that can provide further important info.       I watched the video you recommended. It’s very helpful. It got here just in time before my appointment. My next step for appointments will be with a neurologist to rule out Any thing going on in my brain or spinal cord. When I had Covid I felt like my Brain down to the bottom of my spine was inflamed.       Update: well, I went for my VNG test. Everything was going well until they did the ear canal part. Where they put the air inside the ear. It was loud, warm, and pressure. I barely could make it to 30 seconds. It overstimulated my system, and I experienced tachycardia. I was unable to finish that test. Which I know my doctor will be very unhappy about. But I tried. It wasn’t good for me and it triggered me. I still have a hyper sensitive nervous system.😢

    Hi dr yonit. I just watched your interview with Dan buglio. I think it confused me a little. I know it’s just his approach but he says you don’t have to dig into childhood/ past traumas and that you can just focus on what is stressing you out now. What if you feel that what is causing the feelings of danger and anxiety in your body are things that happened a long time ago? As in they feel unresolved or you still feel very upset and triggered when you think of them? Are those things that need to be worked through? Or are you causing yourself unnecessary pain and ‘retraumatising’ yourself as he says? Thank you!

      This is an area where Dan and I disagree (I love his work btw- just a slightly different approach). I think people need to address the roots of their nervous system sensitivity and often that does mean figuring out lifelong patterns. It’s not about “releasing “ emotions though. It is more about finding out why your nervous system may be reacting so strongly to stressors in your current life

    When I get stressed at work everyday the dizziness shows up and goes away when I’m done with my day. How can I get over this mild work stress affecting me in this way?!

      Figure out what is amplifying your stress- internal pressures you’re putting on yourself in relation to work or otherwise

      Both. Stress does have an effect on us, but distress amplifies the effects of external stress.

    I don’t know what’s wrong with me…
    I’ve been dizzy for ten months straight, 24/7! I’ve had an MRI scan, blood tests, VNG, Caloric testing, eye tests, and BPPV tests and everything is okay.
    Yet I’m still dizzy.
    My symptoms are: feeling like I’m rocking in a boat 24/7.
    Visual troubles such as seeing objects moving or shifting when they should be still. Words moving when reading, feeling like I can’t focus my eyes on an object for a long time.
    Rocking when I’m lying down or sitting still.
    Trampoline walking.
    Headache and head pressure.
    Sinuous pressure.
    Ear fullness.
    My right ear makes strange noises that aren’t tinnitus but like it’s trying to flush itself. I can feel it doing it too so it’s a physical sensation.
    Anxiety.
    Depression.
    But I will say I’m anxious because I have this, NOT that anxiety made me dizzy.
    I just don’t know what to do. My family just start arguing with me when I bring it up.
    I match no diagnosises beyond spontaneous MddS or Vestibular migraines yet my symptoms are 24/7 and not episodic.
    Can anyone, please, relate to this?

      Do some research about PPPD and see if it relates to what you're experiencing and if so, try the VRT consistently for at least 3 months and see if there's a difference.

    My symptoms were getting better by just doing tracking, then I bought a grounding mat, hoping it would help me get some sleep, and all my symptoms came back. Now I can't use the mat

    Hi doc . If I hv a true medical condition like unilateral hypofunction, will somatic tracking/ walking help me ? My brain hasn’t compensated after 2 months of PT.

      I have hypo function and I have improved greatly over time. I still have symptoms but they are so much more manageable. It definitely helps me.

      @@rachelfritz8249 how long hv you had hypo ? Uni or bilateral ? How much was your weakness ? How long hv u done PT and somatic tracking ? My weakness first time was 36% and other time 57%. I believe anything above 25% is abnormal

      @@user-hz3mm5ww4z I have had it for 4 years, and it’s on my right side only and it was a 60% loss when I had my first and only VNG. I did pt for almost a year and it only helped a little. I’ve been somatic tracking for about 6 months. Other things that have helped me are no caffeine, no alcohol and slowly added back in exercise (for a while I couldn’t exercise at all without feeling awful) I can’t exercise like I used to but I’ve just learned to accept that!

    Dear Dr Yo, what if all my setbacks are hapenning after I move somehow badly and my back cracks? I go to this chiropracter/orthopedic doctor, who puts my vertebras on the place, cracking the vertebras into right position. After that I feel each time MUCH BETTER with my vertigo. But as soon as for example dog pulls me or kids hit into me and something cracks in my spine- BOOM VERTIGO, sometimes even for days lying in bed untill the doctor fixes me again. Might it be placebo/nocebo, meaning my brain thinks: oh now the doctor fixed my spine, lets feel good. And when the dog pulls me, than it thinks, oh sh....now we go into spiral of vertigo, lying in bed for days, all plans canceled and so on. OR is it possible something in the spine is really out of place and nerves pressing the spinal cord or something like that, which the doctor resolves..? It doesnt make sence and it repeats each time exactly same. So far noone ever helped me to resolve this.

    I had PPPD symptoms for 4 months with gradual improvement about 95 percent. Suddenly I got flu fever and my pppd symptoms gets worse again . I don’t know why my symptoms got worse again.any idea please

    I can hear a whooshing sound in my right ear. It comes and goes but it happens the majority of the day every day. When I extend my neck forward I can hear it whooshing. When I move my eyes, I can sometimes hear it making a whooshing sound. It’s accompanied by symptoms of brain fog, balance issues, and sometimes pain. Could this be from sinuses or neural circuit dizziness?

      What about post concussive symptoms? I've been struggling with that for the past three years. Is it possible for those symptoms to also be neural circuit dizziness? And do concussions typically heal eventually or is it permanent if it's been this long?

    There is something I do not understand I am in the kitchen without any dizziness. I walk to the living room and there it is from one second to the other second . The dizziness is back how can this be possible?

      The brain can create associations between certain locations and symptoms. This is a slam dunk piece of evidence that you’re dealing with a neural circuit issue.

      You showed up in my dream and bettered me, Im 80% recovered now. Im now back to NYU Law School after being a 4.0 in undergrad. I took a semester off of law school.
      My pppd symptoms persisted for 4 months and now Im at 80% thanks to binge watching your recovery videos and getting a counsellor w/o using an SSRI.

    GUYS PPPD ONLY HAPPENS TO SMART PEOPLE WITH OCD LIKE SYMPTOMS AND HYPER-PERFORMANCE/HYPER-FOCUSSED INDIVIDUALS. DISCLAIMER : this might not always be true , but it is for me and most others I know in certain forums.
