    Hi just spotted your channel. Glad to see that you intend to try and give you're model the full make over treatment!
    There are a few errors in the basic kit with missing windows and collapsible lifeboats etc. The KA is the most comprehensive up scale kit. The Scaledecks replacement deck kit is the best replacement you could get and in my opinion way better than others on the market.
    Woody's Model Works has a whole new world of PE additional parts and Mini Brass are worth a look for highly detailed hull parts. China 3D for quality resin parts. This thing can get very expensive! I would recommend the bronze replacement propellers and anchors too. Enjoy it but protect your bank balance!!!! 😉👍⚓

    Hello there! I'm thinking about building this 1/200 model of the Titanic too, so I'm looking forward to watch your build videos from the very beginning. Thanks for sharing! Are you going to use the KA or the Pontos detailing kit?

      Hello Renato, thank you for your comment ! I planned to use detailing kits and PE as much as possible, so yes, I’ll probably going to use the KA one later in the building.

    Look forward to seeing your build. Why does Trumpeter have special boxing for the Asian market? Are all the parts the same as the Trumpeter model sold in US on Amazon?

      Thank you ! Trumpeter is a Chinese company so their packaging are writed in English, Chinese and Japanese. But there is one box design for all over the world, wherever you buy it.

    A:Yes.
    Q:Is it historically accurate?
    A:Somewhat.
    Q:Can I find it anywhere?
    A:Uhh...does Titanic: Honor and Glory count?

    What's the difference between trumpeter and agora models

    • @titanic_studio
      @titanic_studio  Рік тому

      Agora’s Titanic is not what I call a model. It seems to be something more for child or teens who wants to have fun building the Titanic. Trumpeter’s is for more experienced modelers who wants precision and historical accuracy.

      The Agora Titanic IS a model (which I am building right now) and is considered a masterpiece of maritime modeling. The Agora model has a die-cast hull with panels and rivets in sharp relief, led lighting, photo-etched brass fittings, three smoking funnels, a running engine, rotating propellers and nothing needs to be painted. Some of the steps in the Agora model are definitely NOT for a child or young teen contrary to what someone mentioned in their comments. While I do love both models, the Trumpeter model does not include wooden decks or any rigging and you have to drill all the portholes in the plastic hull. The Agora includes all of this.
      It’s all really a matter of preference which model most appeals to you.

      The Agora is also one of those Subscription formats which are crazy expensive from what I saw, $79 per month for 24 months plus another $10 per month for the duration for a base/cover. Yes it’s nice but no way I’m spending that kinda money
