Man, this thing is huge!! I've never built a ship of this scale and the few I did build was done 50 years ago. I will be watching to see this one being built and am very interested in seeing how it comes together as an actual sailing vessel.

Larry, yet another fantastic presentation. I have the Titanic 1/200; USS Constitution 1/96 which you are well on the way to finishing. Also, the Cutty Sark 1/96 which you have indicated might come down the line. Would you consider the Heller 1/100 HMS Victory? Yes I’ve got that also, together with a lot of after market! Their are one or two builds on UA-cam on the Victory but not in as much detail as you go into. That’s what I like as a returning modeller who now has the time and desire to go into modelling in more depth and detail. You’re an excellent, coherent tutor without the waffle. Hi Paul. Yes the victory is on my list of builds to do for the channel. I would anticipate next year though. I know titanic is going to take some time, and I also have a commissioned QM2 ahead who I I will video this time around. I absolutely do have every intention of building the heller victory kit though! Thank you for your comment, and review of my channel thus far!

This thing is going to look epic, I know what your facing with the size, I've the 1/200 Gneisenau to make so yeah.. we're in the same boat. I know you've got the RMS Olympic and HMHS Britannic name decals to put on but you need to make scratch built alterations for those ships, mind you.. I have been told.. though it's still debated.. don't know if it's true or not.. but some have said proper kits of those are being made in 1/200 scale. I don't know if it's true or not but.. that's what I heard. Anyway this is going to be sweet, this is going to take up a lot of space so be sure you got the right place to display it when done. Might I suggest getting a GOOD drink of booze to celebrate when this is done 😉. All the best with this, us viewers are going to enjoy every bit of it. 👍
Thanks Joe! From what I understand Trumpeter is indeed doing the Britannic and Olympic in 1/200. I believe it is in the warship section of their website from what I saw. With the decals, yea I was just pointing out that they are included for anyone. I was talking to Gene he is currently working on creating the “ultimate” Titanic decal set, so I’m looking forward to seeing that when he completes it. I’m definitely excited about building this. I’d love to do a 1:1 but ya know I’ll have to settle for this. Lol

Yours is going to look epic, if you've seen midwest model shop, that's an example, might have some tips to share. There's the modelboatguy here in the U.K so there could be some tips from him also, it's just a thought but.. I thought it be nice to tell you.
