A frame Tiny House in Mexico with a Sleep Loft!

- An extended version of the "Deek Diedricksen transforming A-frame" design and plans that most of you have seen all over the place by now, this build by Francisco Moreno takes a newer, more spacious, look at this "Cabin with the flip-up roof". This particular build is not only 8' longer (by adding the simple repeat framing 4' on either end of the original design), but employs longer rafters enabling the loft to have more room- even enough space for a double bed in this case. It's a great little tiny house or getaway cabin and it might spark some ideas in you. Great work Francisco! What is the size? Just wondering! 16' long by what?
Those *folding stairs* are genius, bespoke to the dimensions - did he model it first or just make a 'regular' ladder and then cut it in two 'irregular' (ie not symmetrical in half) pieces to fit the wall where it hangs?

@@johnsexton3841 Original is 12' ,6" wood! So must be 14' or maybe 🤔 16' I would think? I don't like a big scrap pile! Someone will notice the comment and let us know? I'm thinking he might have went 12' wide? Original was 8' he said he added 4' + 4' ,,,so must be 16'? Long! His was 10'w 8'L plans!
Beautiful cabin!! The ladder to the loft was a cool feature!! I kept looking for the way into the loft during the shots but completely missed the ladder until he set it up!
Omg that’s the perfect get away cabin. I like it has a sleeping loft and most importantly a bathroom.
I can think of at least two other people who have made videos of themselves building your A-Frame.
Yeah, there are quite a few out there- always cool to see. The design has kinda gotten beyond me where many build it after seeing videos of videos about it and they have no idea where it originated.
No video of the tiny bathroom? Maybe not completed yet? I can see the pee bottle (looks like one anyway😆) on the wall at 1:11, so guess not.

Veo que no te contestaron y esa fue mi primer pensamiento. Ahora, por el tamaño de la puerta (90cm?) diría que es de 4.5 de frente, por el tamaño del sofá (180cm?) 5.0 de fondo x 5.00 de altura. Lástima que no pudimos ver el baño.

Excellent work Francisco! 😍 I love how you took the basic layout & improved on it to make it a very STRONG tiny home! The only thing I'd be concerned with is the hatch being accidentally knocked & falling. It looks heavy. Do you have the supports properly locked in place at both ground & upper levels? A bolt in place system? 🔩
This cabin is exactly what I am looking to build, is there anyway I can buy some plans/measurements of the modifications.
I'm going to reach out to Francisco to see if he can answer this....

quite dark inside but it looks great and seems there was made room for a small toilet too, so an actual house for more than just weekend camping
