When installing the strip on the windshield seal I used an install tool and lubricant from "Rubber done the right way". Had to modify the tool slightly but worked great as I used a new BMW seal on mine, just my 2 cents. Good work.

Thanks for watching and commenting. It means a lot. It can be very easy to lose focus and motivation. With the heat soon approaching, I am dreading 115 days, and the garage can get even hotter. Regardless, I want to push through and keep posting. Haha, I was thinking the same thing, lol. I am going to order a new windshield as that one is pitted quite badly. I am editing the next section. I can't believe the new piece is already welded into place and ready for paint.

new cowl part? - you mentioned someone at CAtuned hook you up? But I couldn't catch the name. If you don't mind, I'd like to try and chase down the same part.

Hey! Thanks for your patience. Igor is the owner at CaTuned. He's a great guy and an e30 legend. Give him a ring or email and let him know you saw my video. He'll know who I am. Thanks for watching and thanks for your patience. - Tom

It’s one the worst dashes I’ve ever had to remove as well .absolute nightmare

haha! Right. I will most likely do this again because I was not happy with the job that I did on the dashboard. I think I would rather have put a dashcap on the cracked dash. Thanks for watching!

Dude- I feel your pain. After a while though- these kind of repairs won’t seem so difficult or frustrating. Take your time- don’t rush things- enjoy the process. I always find myself most at peace in the middle of the night under the car focused on the task. Bummer about the gauge cluster - 🫤.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. It means a lot. I thankfully found another cluster with a separated face so worked out well. I just finished welding in the new piece and getting ready to prep for paint. Wild to think that I will be completing this project soon. I am currently working on uploading and editing the footage.
