Can it be done? JCB 3CX Grey Cab Backhoe Loader on Emergency Landslide

- We got a call late one Saturday afternoon, requesting help to come and make safe a landslide. A retaining wall had been built using stacked IBCs. The wall was over 20 feet high and part of it had failed, causing several IBCs and earth to collapse and destroy the boundary fence, spilling over into a neighbouring facility.

It's been fun making these videos, I remember those 'good old days' where you could turn up for work and do your job, I also remember how popular the 3CX was, I'v been in many amazing places with one over the years, great memories!!
Just like to say I’m enjoying your vids , and like the way you have improved them , with the commentary, etc . Keep them up , I look forward to see the next challenge for the mighty grey cab 3cx 👍 , I’ve driven a few machines mainly Ford , but one of the many things I’ve found and like with my grey cab 3cx is they are a very stable machine on a hill , well balanced bit of kit , I know from experience the old ford would be pretty wallowing around on that job ! . Thanks for the message, filming and operating the machine was very difficult so we now have staff operating the camara and editing before anything goes out which I think has made a big difference in quality. I have driven few machines too and find that the grey cab 3CX very reliable, stable and just a nice machine to operate. Keep watching as we have more videos coming!

Thank you! The thing with the 3CX, you can get one on just about any job (dependant on operator) I remember, as a kid seeing 3CX's all over doing many different jobs, sad to not see so many any more ..

Yeah, not sure, it's private land with history, like lots of other industrial land around the country, one day it will be re-developed and cleared I guess .. hopefully I will be retired by then and won't get the job... haha

Hello, thanks for watching! If your outriggers are like mine you would need to weld some plate between the inner and outer posts at the bottom to take the excess play out. On later models, they have an adjustable plug at the bottom, which you would turn in to get the same results. Hope that helps?
@@PSExcavationsLLC Hi. I have a 2001 tractor. adjustment nut 2 pieces and a plastic washer so it was from the factory. I made one more nut and washer. It turned out 3 pieces per paw. understood? if you watch anything on my channel there is a video you might need something
Another excellent video pal as always I've been in situations like this myself with a jcb people don't realise how stressful a job like this can be I'm impressed with them new tyres you've fitted the wider one's on the front will definitely be better I've had the original one's shatter the rim and blow the tyre they where prone for it when the rims got knackered they cracked under weight and on the plus side the machine will be a bit better for traction I don't think there will be many machine's that wouldn't have struggled on that sort of ground keep up the excellent work and i look forward to seeing the next video 👍👌
