Hi, I just have to say that I know you work really hard on your farm and raising your beautiful girls (and hubby too) but your videos make farm life look so romantic. Thank you. Wishing you all the best in 2025!
Thank you for the tour. Your creative use and re-use of plants and materials enhanced my enjoyment and understanding of “regenerative gardening”. i see now your whole lifestyle is to gain maximum benefit from everything with such creative flair! Amazed at all you do and how hard you work! Love it! Most of all in this segment, thank you for including your beautiful children!
Oh, and I sincerely wish you a very happy holiday! You are so lovely❤️❤️❤️ May your days be filled with happiness, warm and tender love. You put yourself in everything you do. It’s all beauty because it’s all you. Warmly Sandy
I just love that barn!! Wow! Your sheep are so cute. Your little one is so sweet. I want to plant flowers and herbs everywhere on my 5 acres. A lot of planning to fill this space. That table is just so neat. Hugs and blessings to you and the family always
You and your farm are such an inspiration! I love all the crafts you’ve made with your girls and I am going to give some of them a try with my seniors at work this winter as I’ve been stock piling dried flowers 😊
Love watching your videos. So knowledgeable but also calm and peaceful. Thank you. Edited to add: the interior barn walls have so much character you don’t want to cover that by adding insulation. I’d be really tempted to insulate on the outside and add a fake exterior walls to maintain that interior charm. LOL
Lovely, just lovely. I see that you have a solar light on one of your walls? I make use of solar lights this way. I have solar light outside as well ,so in the darkest nights of winter., I can see my outdoor space ,for a short time after the sun goes into hiding at the end of the day. We have what used to be a horse barn as well. Shed style roof dirt floor. It's a pole barn so it won't be moved. I plan to make it into something that is a joy to look at and be in like you. I was out gathering maple leaves yesterday so to add to my compost and mulch my blueberries and the like. A little old lady dragging huge bags of leaves through the property trails 😁 it does keeps me out of trouble. The table is lovely. It's nice to recycle. I'm a firm believer in the three R's. Reduce, reuse and recycle. We have to hand this earth over to those who have come after us afterall. Tomorrow I plan to plant daffodil bulbs...no tulips 'cuz the deer like them more that I. I need to talk to my husband about just how useful a few sheep would be around here.🙃 Thank you for your lovely guide. Greetings from Canada 🇨🇦
I’m an old lady myself the deer and turkeys have taught me plant daffodils everywhere I want to plant something they do like to eat, like tulips. I have hundreds of planted but they can’t get to them because they are surrounded by daffodils. It works great!
Your barn is just so lovely. I love how you repurpose things for decoration. Your window with the stars and dried alliums is just so cute. Your are so creative and inspirational!
You are just amazingly beautiful. I love it all but then you showed the window decoration!!! You are simply an overload of gorgeous! And a dancer… you are the real deal. I wish I had 1/10 your talent! Love X”s 10 the window Christmas decorations!!! Everything about your barn is gorgeous, I especially love the doors too. I think you should make something to sell here, I would buy it. Thank you so much for your valuable time. I know for sure you have no time to yourself. I had 4 children. Everything is beautiful!!!!
I love wide plank floors in old pioneer homes so I had them put in my home. A disaster with kids and two dogs. Pioneer floors look great after 130 years. How come mine don’t. Looked good for 5 years and going on 23 now. Rethinking it all.
Happy Thanksgiving to u and ur family. Lovely barn. So unique and practical. It must be fun and nice to have workshops in the barn. Nice video. As always…very inspirational. Thanks.❤
Happy thanksgiving to you and your family as well!! Thank you for all of your hard work and for taking time from your day to share so much fantastic information with all of us! It so very much appreciated 😊 I have been pausing and zooming in on your videos every time I watch them just to check out that barn! 😂 It’s perfectly imperfect and very pretty!! Your family, sheep included of course, is just the sweetest! As are you! Thank you again
I really enjoy your channel. We just moved from a zone 4b to a zone 7-8. Some list us as a 7, some an 8. Our garden season has almost tripled. Very exciting new learning curve, and we're planning our cottage gardens. We have poisonous snakes and black widow spiders, so we use marigolds, lavender, lemon grass, and basil for borders. The marigolds work the best. Anyway, love the channel, watching the dahlias show now.
For other animal owners out there- if you use leaves for bedding make sure you know tree they come from and if your species is safe - ie- ruminants versus non ruminant. Maple leafs are toxic to horses but not sheep. Avoid black walnut , chokecherry, black locust for all species. Young oak and acorns toxic to horses.
Sheep are amazing at knowing what they can and can’t eat! Pretty incredible. For example, their grazing pasture has chokecherries, hellebore and milkweed (all known to be toxic to sheep) but they take one nibble and know not to eat it. Good advice though. :) always know your own animals!
@@Blossomandbranch they are probably much smarter than my goats, lol and horses (had one that found the only nightshade that was growing in a five acre pasture🤦🏻♀️) thank goodness we got vet there and it just caused some drooling and diarrhea. I had CSU weed extension come out and look at pastures and that was a great help at identifying problems
I just found your channel and already love it -- do you have a video giving us a tour of your home? I'd love to see your kitchen and living space - please make one if you haven't already. I am very inspired already!
Your videos are so informational! What sized buckets do you use to harvest your flowers? I see some on Johnny's website but they offer 5L, 10 L, and 13 L. Thanks!

I remember salt dough sculptures! Gorgeous space.
❤love your barn!! You could put rigid sheets of foam between the rafters just under the sheeting for the roofing. It is a game changer for us!!!
The barn is amazing. Would love some arts and craft videos:)

Wilted cherry leaves will kill your sheep if ingested
@@kmsch986yes goats will eat it all 😂
I've subbed, very good ideas from your garden.
Happy Thanksgiving. Love your barn project, especially the doors and tall windows. It's all very cozy. Where in Colorado are you?

You give classes ?! I wish you were nearby 😢
I don't know if I could handle being next to all that yarrow 😅
Not gardening related. Where do you get your overalls! I have been trying to find some. I have long legs and I cannot seem to find anything that fit.
