Love the weight savings here BUT..... i think you left out some really key points on these wheels that the consumer needs to know, id like to know more about the manufacturing process, where are these made? mold forged / traditional forged? where are the blanks coming from? what testing has been done? what the weight load for each wheel? Alot of information left off the table here which is concerning.

Its very difficult to t3st the difference with wheel weight. You have to drive on the ragged edge and feel for very small changes in turn in, braking, and compliance. But you better believe it, its there!
I replace the forged aluminum wheels in my car that weighed about 23 lbs with some monoblock forged magnesium wheels that weigh about 14 lbs. The difference in steering response, acceleration, braking and suspension compliance was very noticeable.

@@christmasisawesome9348 Those were from a company in the LA area called Litespeed Racing. The model I got was their RS5RR monoblock in 9 x 19 & 10 x 19, painted gloss black. The price was $11,500 for the set of four. I had to pay ½ upfront before the build was started. I've gotten numerous comments from car people and ordinary people about how nice the wheels look on the car. I have large bright red brake calipers and the thin black spokes really make the brake calipers pop.
how much do the magnesium OEM GT2RS and GT3RS wheels weigh?
The OEM Magnesium wheels for the 991 GT3RS and GT2RS are 15.9 lbs each front and 21.9 lbs each rear. So the IPE still lighter :)

Nothing looks better than the stock Porsche wheels. Period!
These IPE wheels are definitely not as beautiful as the stock GT3 wheels.
By the way: the BBS RI-D wheel from 5 years ago also weighs only about 7 kilograms as a 9 inch wide front wheel for the GT3. Which is also quite 15 lbs.
Looks are subjective so your opinion that the stock Porsche wheels look better is understandable. I think the IPE set looks better. So does our customer. What cannot be argued is that these are more lightweight than the stock wheels so in addition to changing the look of the car to be different from the thousands of other 992 GT3's using the same factory wheels, these IPE wheels are adding performance to the car.
PS - BBS RI-D's are not made in 992 GT3 fitment. They weren't even made for 991 GT3. Perhaps you're referring to BBS FI-R's? If so, that wheel in 20"x9" weighed 17.4 lbs (7.89 kg). More than these IPE Magnesium wheels.
These are Chinese copies of the OEM mg wheels.
992 GT3's do not have a factory OEM Magnesium wheel option. Also, this IPE wheel design is very different from the 992 GT3 OEM (aluminum) wheels.

"Lightest possible wheel" doesn't mean at all, that it's as good as the stock Porsche wheel! Porsche 911 GT3 wheels are extremely sturdy and high quality.
It's absolutely irrelevant, if an aftermarket wheel for the GT3 is lighter, but not as sturdy as the stock wheel from Porsche.
Some wheel makers praises for their own products are quite superficial.
Porsche GT3 magnesium wheels are also definitely lighter than this aluminium wheel in this video.
I would hate to spend thousands hit the first pothole and get wheel damage.
I would look for performance elsewhere.

I have a Nissan 370z sport coupe with 19 x 9 & 19 x 10 OEM Rays Engineering forged aluminum wheels that weigh about 23 lbs each. I am installing a set of Litespeed Racing forged magnesium monoblock wheels in the same size that weigh about 14 lbs each. The wheels have a 5 spoke split - Y spoke design with the spokes forming mini I beams with cutouts for increased weight savings. The wheels also lighten one's wallet considerably, to the tune of about $12k.

How does the weight compare to the carbon revolution wheels? or brixton forged with carbon barrel?
Carbon Revolution makes carbon fiber wheels for a handful of different cars. Each car requires a different size/fitment which will dictate the final weight of the wheel. To my knowledge, CR doesn't make CF wheels for Porsche's so it's not really possible to make an apples to apples comparison. However I reckon that the CF wheels theoretically weigh nearly the same as the Magnesium IPE wheels.
Can we have those sexy wheels for turbo 992?
