Whilst I fully agree with your opinion on subscription services, you fully knew this was coming and, relative to what you have told us your monthly finance payment on the car is, the subscription Porsche is asking for is tiny.

Great video and i now know not to buy a ev or Smart car. Hope the new government won’t put you in jail for this once they release the next batch of prisoners.
Had a similar “ransomware” email from BMW a couple of years ago. They wanted over £300 to continue using similar features. Went to the dealer, thinking it was a scam and they confirmed it was genuine. Sold the car and won’t buy another BMW. Check before you buy.
£269 a year seems like a bargain Lee, especially when you've been losing roughly £82 a DAY in depreciation 😯
The more of these EV videos I watch the more confused I am as to why anybody would actually buy one.
You think this type of video is supposed to be informative?? It’s nonsense designed to earn the creator £££, nothing more. Next video, see how he blames a global cabal for being billed for home broadband, and why he can’t sell his used underpants for what he bought them for!!!
Guys like this don't represent the majority. UA-camrs in general that post this kind of content don't represent the majority. I've been happy with my 400 mile range Model S for almost 5 yrs now and 80,000 miles with little to no issues.
Let me help you...... Buy a second hand MG5 for £12,000, make sure you have a driveway and solar, sign up to Octopus intelligent.
You are now driving for circa 1p a mile versus 13p a mile for petrol.
Do 150,000 miles at 1p a mile versus 13p a mile and bingo - you just saved £18,000, not only paying for the car but putting another £6,000 in your pocket.
But wait, you also don't need oil changes, numerous pumps and belts, catalytic converters and exhausts, new clutch and oh so much more!
Conservatively, the EV will save you circa £20,000 over the 150,000 miles.
Got it yet?
We're all paying to have the roads repaired while you drive around in EV's which cause more damage due to being heavier 😂😂
Take a shot everytime Lee says "onwards" or "come on". 😂

Plenty of cottagers on this channel.
BMW are doing the same with their feature subscription, it's nothing to do with EV's its to do with corporate greed. Bash EV's all you like but it's purely down to the manufacturers, all modern cars are connected nowadays
I hadn't watched one of your videos for some time because I don't care for the click-baity titles and the rambling, repetitive nature of the narrative in said videos. True to that form, this video, whilst well produced and slick, has a click bait title and was 23 minutes of rambling and repetition with 3 minutes at the end explaining the matter in hand which, far from what the overblown title suggests, is actually an expiry of a 3 year contract that you signed up to so will have known about from the start. Whilst I fully agree with your opinion on subscription services, you fully knew this was coming and, relative to what you have told us your monthly finance payment on the car is, the subscription Porsche is asking for is tiny.
Could you really not see all these issues on the horizon? We are living not just in a 'you will own nothing' period of history but a you will be nothing as this is a population reduction era.

When the 5 years of updates expires on our Honda I won't care because Android integration works so well nowadays.
Now here's a hint: there are two Porsches. One was a company that made air cooled sports cars, which today are very valuable. You could service them yourself, in fact they provided a toolkit. You just needed an inspection pit in your garage and you could do just about anything. They also made a liquid cooled mid engine sports car which with a bit more knowledge you could also maintain yourself.
