This is the video that got me into puyo puyo. I was sick 4 years ago on a trip to Disney world for 2 weeks. The week I was there I spent it watching game over comps including this one. I instantly took a interest in the series, buying most installments and completing them and collecting merch, including Japanese only releases. I’ve also as a result of these videos took more of a interest in gaming in general. Something about game overs are satisfying and creepy at the same time. It’s too bad I won’t be able to play puyo quest though, but I’ll enjoy future releases and can’t wait for the next one, even though puyo Tetris 2 is almost a year old

Most of the video is Puyo Puyo, I can approve of this.
(For the longest time, Compile (and later Sega) has been writing "GAME OVER" in english for the longest time.
Only when they were sure they were _never_ gonna localize the series without some shitty reskin did they eventually start spelling "GAME OVER" in japanese.)
We were LUCKY to ever see this game localized even a little bit, as Puyo Pop. (Which, i'm sure we'll never see happen again)
And a last note: The only localization I like here that isn't Puyo Pop, is Kirby's Avalanche. Kirby's dialouge is beautiful. . .
