Gdam, these guys not only cooked crazy hard since the game came out, they made recipe books, opened a chain of restaurants, and started a chef college for all these combos.

Damn Kraz didn’t let Koe hit a button lmao. Was rooting for them from the very start, though I won’t lie, I kinda was hoping that maybe a Kaichou player would win the whole thing.

I'm sad that i couldn't record my match, but it was fun! I'm glad to be able to participate and i hope that if there's another opportunity I'll join again!
might add some ideas for devs since this video has a high chance to be seen by them
- someone pointed this out already in the comments but botan ulti doesn't reflect the alt colors, might be a hassle to fix but that would be a nice one
- adding intros and winning poses would be great after you guys have finished all the balancing and stuff
- spectator mode... high hopes. or maybe online replays?

Edit: haven’t been a fan of yours long enough to know, but if you haven’t AT LEAST been invited to commentate on some kind of fighting game tournament, that’s a tragedy. Your knowledge of the genre/skills and energy would be great commentary in any fighting game tournament.

damn dude, for me who didn't step a foot into fighting games since like 10 years ago as a kid on my ps2, Kraz looks like a total menace. that 64 hit combo was nasty, I couldn't do that in 1000 years

I think the corner combo on getting the air grab consistent after bomb is a lot harder to do.
Great tournament with powerful variety (glad it was not only botan) pretty fun. Also koe did a pretty nice tournament commentary, well done!

Huh, just realized Botan doesn't have her alt colors on during her super. Might be pretty tough to fix, but I'm sure the devs can handle it.
Either way, good show! Not too surprised about the character representation, glad most of them got a chance to show off anyways. And man am I glad Koe is getting the love he rightfully deserves.

@@Cosmoman78 yeah from all the footage I've watched burst doesn't really mess with assists. I saw someone get burst baited by the Kanata assist. Zoomed right through the burst

I expect Botan will probably be a meta countering character considering Sora and Ayane (sword fighters) are probably the most OP in terms of raw button mashing.
Then there are the martial artists who are hard to play but harder to play against.

I feel like a few the characters are just playing a completely different game, like the best Coco player probably won't have a chance against the best Botan player, the devs are probably already cooking some buffs and nerfs 😆
