    Great trick, one of my favorites. I typically do it with a bluff pass to get it 2nd from top, and at the end, give the spectators the 5(4) cards to hold, and then ribbon spread the deck to reveal their card. Also, sorry if I sound like a jerk, but you should give credit where it is due more often. Credit for this one goes to Elmer Biddle, for the biddle steal.

    Fanny.. I've seen this trick once and I recreated it but making the card as the SECOND from bottom. I did not know how to do it, but the principle was the same. I kept the card as top then when I shuffled the cards, I help the bottom and peeled the top making it second from bottom. The difference here is... I had to pick the cards from the bottom, the option you gave on 4:47m was excellent. Thank you.

    For anyone who's having trouble getting the card 3rd from the top: I generally just use the Marlo Tilt, but lift two cards off the top instead of one, and then follow up with some false shuffles/cuts (also use 52kard's "extender" move with the tilt to make it seem more believable, though it's not necessary). I was fine with getting the card in place using his method, but I hate using over-hand shuffles cause they just look so corny/fake to me.
    Hope this helps.

    • @KinnereyB
      @KinnereyB 7 років тому

      I use the tilt as well and just overhand shuffle the other two on top of it and jog the next and continue to overhand and pick at the break.
      But for BEGINNERS, the easiest way will be to just half the deck, but before you do thumb off two cards and hold a break. Tell them to put their card on the half in your left hand, add the two cards in the thumb break half, continue holding the thumb break, and either double under cut if you have no table, or do running table cuts until you reach the break if you have a table. Bc this really is a beginner's trick. And it's POWERFUL. Not all tricks have to be extremely complex in order to WOW! the audience. Just look at Wayne Houchin's French Kiss. INCREDIBLE effect and all it consists of are two double lifts, the ability to hold a pinky break, and the ability to fold cards in half twice lol. Some of my audiences favorite effects are effects that are at the basic to intermediate level. Before I finish this word vomit (I was just going to respond to your comment and explain the easiest way I think a beginner can get a card third from the top).

    • @KinnereyB
      @KinnereyB 7 років тому

      I didn't finish lol.
      Take Dynamo's card trick finale. The one where he has multiple spectators select cards and puts them in a fan. He said he fooled P&T with that trick! My ass! If he fooled them with that then I can teleport to your house and back without anyone noticing - see, just did it.
      My point is, that trick and his method are: Hindu shuffle the cards on top. Then just keep them there and have as many reveals as you do cards selected.
