I remember playing these games when I was young. war games are definitely my favourite glad to see someone playing them and especially from one of my favourite creators.

And that's why, in my opinion, most games right now suck ass. They simply spend too much time and funding on graphics when details and gameplay should go first.
Why were old games pretty detailed compared to now? Cause they didn't invest so much on the graphic setting
i loved this game back in the day but HOI 4 is still the best since it has more interaction
To play this game on Armor games back in the early 2010s was fun. These guys actually made games after this, but it’s interesting how the website and everything still works and exists.

I really hope that these games get either remade or remastered as downloadable games. These were some of the most fun I've ever had as a kid.

The counting “wheels” technique technically works but you accidentally included the two larger sprockets. It was a Panzer 3 not a Panzer 4.

And, a panzer 4 eather has a short 75, or a long 75. The pazer three has a short 50.

You have to click on the units to activate their power, like for the officer, you need to click on it and there will be buttons at the bottom on the screen. Then you can click on which power you want. Same with the others, like the assault team
This game takes me back to my middle school days. So many study halls were spent playing this game.

I found the ww2 version before the ww1 one. probably because I searched up ww2 games only
the Morale mechanic was pretty interesting at the time for the 1917 one, I miss those days

Playing as the wehrmacht was so much fun, they had a 3pt upgrade called conscription that just let you spam rifleman and assault squads.

thats pretty true the strategy was get rifles sqauds assaults sqauds and mortars and officers in the back and a tank when you can get it to this day a still remember the strategy
The Warfare games were my favorite as a child. I'd play it on my laptop after school for hours.

Oh, and for victory, you need to drop the enemy moral to 0, or get 1 unit up the middle. Getting them on the side lanes drops moral by a significant margin, and killing units without loosing your own units drops it by a small amount.
What I like about this game is how even though you're winning as the germans you're still retreating.
Games like these were my childhood… so many good memories:)
Hey Baron, I wonder if you can find and play "Endless War defense" it was one of the best survival defense games I played in my youth. The gist of the game is there will be waves of troops and armor and you need to create pillboxes, trenches, mgs, and AT emplacements.
I think I have played it, is it the ww2 one which you create a character and rank up and stuff

those games were developed by the same person/team who made those survival zombie games where we have to hold the barricade for x days then move to another area but at the same time using points to search certain places, i forgot it's name but we could also get traps, another people to help us and different weapons ranging from a pistol to heavy machine gun or grenade launcher
The nostalgia from playing these games as a kid in middle school and high school. I miss those days
I was never able to beat this game as Axis on Veteran. Every time I held the Americans up, they would spam me with artillery and air support-which, now that I think of it, is pretty historically accurate.
I love the warfare games and the last stand games.
These games were always the ones I'd play as much as I could on the computer or the ww1 zombies one.

He decided to follow our advice and play Warfare 1944. The German campaign is harder to do since you’re on the defensive. I usually put my points into the grenades, morale and accuracy for rifles and sub machine guns.

Its a panzer 3 with the 50mm canon... the panzer 4 has either a 75mm pack 40 witch is longer or a much shorter 75mm kanon depends on the version
the first tank you saw was a panzer 3, you do not cound the sprocket and idler, you count the wheels in the middle, so 6/2 is 3, therefor it's a panzer 3

Btw you can click on things like the assault team squads on the field and use their abilities like grandes or whatever from the bottom left thing that makes units go forward.
This is also the main way to use the officer

They actually did end up making a spiritual successor to this game called Warfare Online on Steam. Unfortunately it ended up shutting down because Conartist just couldn't afford to keep the servers online.

You do not tell the difference between a Panzer IV and a Panzer III by counting the wheels. You typically look at the gun and layout of the vehicle. Panzer IV have 75mm cannons with a distinct silhouette, and can be equipped with side skirts. Panzer III are usually smaller compared to the PzIV and are equipped with a 37mm gun that’s very skinny.

The original Medal of Honor from 1999 is no doubt the best WWII game ever! It was the foundation that started the Battlefield and Call of Duty series.

I'm pretty sure how winning the levels works is by sending troops to the opposite side. If you get troops through the top or bottom lane then you lower their morale; once their morale's low enough they'll surrender. However, if you manage to get a squad up the middle you automatically win, if not severely deplete their morale. However, sending troops up the middle is rather difficult since they'll take fire from all three lanes. Troops in the top and bottom lanes will ignore each other and will only take fire from their lane and the middle lane.

I really love this game. This is the first wwii game I have ever play. When I first played Company of Hero, it really bring back the memory of playing this game.

Many an hour was spent honing my strategy gamer skills on the Warfare games. Real OG's grew up cutting their proverbial teeth on these bad boys.
