We, as Christians, are SO blessed to have God’s WORD, in print, to have before and during our troubles and suffering; to comfort and encourage us. Sadly, the Patriarchs and their families did not yet have that handy item of reference. Praise Jesus for HIS WORD to us! 🙌👨‍🚒

My bible words 19:25 , But I know that my redeemer lives. The key for me to remember when suffering happens is BUT God, there is no other source , Job turned it around and remembered, and says BUT God!! And hearts should long for, focus on God more so than things of this temporary world . "for our momentary light affliction is producing for us an absolutely incomparable eternal weight of glory.

    Great call out on question2
how does Jobe express hope in this passage (Job 19:25-27).. Faith now 100% in God Alone!!! How do his words here compare with his perspective on the afterlife and Job14:10-15? Job asking for hope, wishing for redemption and resurrection. Question instead of blessed assurance.
    Thank you for the podcast

My wife and I are following you guys from Texas. We thank you for sharing this with us. We noticed in todays segment there was some mention of some questions. Where are you getting these from. We bought a chronological Bible when it started but naturally I purchased a different one than you are using. Again thanks and blessings to you guys.

Hey, James! At the end of each day's reading in the Bible we are using there are usually three thoughts or questions. These will summarize what we have learned and give us some application for our lives. It's this one here in case you're wondering: a.co/d/6lH4gmZ
