Iirc, Conc effect is the way to increase the overlap damage of RoA. The more area of effect you have, the more spread out the arrows become. Same amout of arrows trying to cover a larger area of effect But i look forward to seeing what projectile attack you end up going eith and how far you can push it
RoA tech for you, I made a RoA champ at end of our Affliction GSF since bows were so easy to craft. I came up with putting the RoA of Artillery in a Manaforged set up with the knockback mastery and you can keep most tanky enemies in the game permanently stun locked since the trans gem hits so many times and because of the way the arrows land it pushes the mobs back into the path of itself which knocks it back more and damages more which knocks it back into the path of itself and repeat repeat repeat… But in my experience making RoA builds three leagues in a row you really want to go tri elemental which requires a great bow craft. Hence why it was best last league even in our GSF league together. Champ is great because with it and Perseverance you're scaling all your damage and EHP at the same time and it gives a really great floor for the build's damage and survivability. Two Taming's and a Hyrri's Truth and you can blast T16s all day with a super chill build and you can build it a few ways from there. I did Ice Shot and Storm Rain of the Conduit/Blast Rain in a Manaforged set-up with the RoA of Artillery. Then Frenzy and Ensaring Arrow in a second Manaforged setup, you have great AoE, much better single target, charges, and CC between the knockbacks and the Ensnaring. It was the best build I've ever made was doing T17's with I think 200k EHP+ and my gear was not good, the only thing i crafted was the Bow, I was still re-rolling eldritch implicits on the gear when I stopped.
@@andrewwilliams8139 Full phys is better top end when scaling phys damage as ele all over you gear, but great phys bows are significantly harder to craft. It ends up being way more expensive for not much more gain. Ele is the better early/mid tier.
@mp7311 this 100%:phys is bis in most cases like wands but phys wands and bows are sooooooooooo much harder to craft so people just go ele because it's easy
As far as i know for single target on RoA you want to reduce its spread so increase the aoe of the skill itself. I remember seeing a RoA Miner or Trapper that used the SUnburst belt to overlapp all the projectiles at once but that isnt quite usable on a pure Bow build so it would be good to increase the Aoe. Also it might be interesting to work in the usual slayer ascendencys with the cull and the one leech and then go Frenzy cahrges equal to Endurnace charges to get ur phys mit up by just running a Frenzy manaforge arrow setup + End Cry nad Urgent order support for the Endurance charges. Also might be good to then pickup either the +1 min frenzy or endurance charge side on the bottom of the tree and 100%inc charge duration mastery. Nice Video man keep up the content
conc effect is the thing with RoA for single target. back in the day it was common to swap it in for bosses and use something else for clear. I wouldn't be surprised if increased aoe actually reduces single target dps on RoA.
You werent leaching as it was totems doing dmg for you if im not mistaken. There are/were some special mods like "tukohama, war's herald" from old chieftan: "2% of damage dealt by your totems is leeched to you as life"
Yeah looks like you were nerfing your own single target damage by making the aoe bigger and spreading out the arrows :( Conc effect is the way to go in my experience... Also something like Excess Sustenance + life/mana on hit is a lot more reliable than leech with roa. Interested to see which way you go from here!
Reduce ur aoe to increas ur hits Conc effect is one of it not the biggest dps multiplier rain of arrows has and rainnof arrows hits so much but the on hit dps isn't as high as other bow skills so you want life gained on hit and mana gain on hit theifs torment ring man is like bis for lvling but yes life mana on hit is far better than leech for roa you are face tanking stuff aswell run away from mobs and place totems your too close the issues you are having a self induced man sorry to say but you can very easily fix all said issues

I think he wants to go full phys to take advantage of headhunter buffs, full ele is prolly better top end if you’re not going HH tho

It's a while back since I was hyped for a next video of any "series". This gonna be fun^^

You could use a Concentrated Effect for less sread of the arrows, and also better single targe damage.
"Flops around all over the place"
Like a cat.
Would love to hear your opinion on the new PoE 2 stuff that was released, and the early access date!

100% conc effect is one of the biggest dps multiplier rain of arrows has all of his issues are self induced and can easily be fixed
can you use quill rain as a leveling bow at the start(level1) upto a certain level?but the problem is quill rain has 30% less damage hmm....
Arrows would hit like wet noodles just be really fast.
Lol I did a power siphon slayer just today
Leech would be better if you went with the instant leech on the left side of the passive skill tree.
Time stamps are from last video lol.
