More or less we had the same journey. were Looking for hatchbacks around 8-9 lakhs, and were waiting for facelift of i20, which was 10 lakh+ open us to consider compact suv segment. And once we test drove nexon, and my sister who was sitting in back seat of nexon over a rough patch of around a km long, she was very happy with the comfort it provided. After other rnd and visiting showrooms to check out sonet and xuv we ended up buying Nexon xz+s petrol. Its been a year, and the car is phenomenal. I even rode Creta of my brother afterwards and I feel nexon is more SUVish than creta, and same was ny brother opinion about seating position of nexon. The command it gives on road is commendable

Nice and detailed review, a lot of jargons, but am sure that's just me. Am sure many people would benefit with such detailed technical review and not just "it's a nice car" types review.

Very well explained. Love the nexon as an overall packaged. They got everything right in bs6 with very minor negatives which can easily be avoided.

Hi. Just booked a Nexon XZ+ and concerned to know that the fog lights and headlamps don't work. What have you done to rectify the same?
Fog lights work just fine. Just that government specifications recommend a fog lamp to be of 21w and low beam of 55w. Most people upgrade the low beam to 80w halogen or just use hamaan leds. For fog lamps I would stay clear of cutting wires, installing HID etc. due to warranty issues.

Can Alakh or the Motoroids team share more insight on the B-Pillar clicking noise? Where was the noise coming from or how was it fixed? The service center in my city is not able to isolate that click.
LHS trim needs opening. On the bottom there is a housing where bolts needs to be tightened. It's where the seatbelt unit is attached. Come to heritage panvel / heritage Thane and I can assist you. You can ping me on facebook
Very composed detailed review. I am thinking of buying nexon petrol but i want to have good pick up. Should i go ahead with petrol or then pick venue diesel which is around 11lakhs for sx model?
I would stay away from Venue at all costs. Test drive the nexon petrol (170nm max) or diesel (260nm) in sports mode and then take a call.

I contacted Hyundai showroom near my hometown for test driving new Venue Diesel and even the dealership guys are requesting not to consider Diesel and instead opt Petrol. I believe some customers who took Venue Diesel would have had bitter experience.
Very good video. One thing to ask- in base variant nexon seat adjustment is not available. My height is 5.6" so how will be this car suits on my height?
We would recommend you personally check the car out and sit on the driver's seat to see if it suitable
The car seat is fine for all heights I feel. Just push the car seat closer to the steering. Overall the visibility of the car is poor and it takes a little getting used to. And that is irrespective of the drivers height. Go for it. I have plenty friends who own nexon who are of your height.
@@alakhasthana3340 Thanks Mr. Asthana. I have purchased XMS of Nexon. I purchased seat cover and injected 2 inch cushion inside the driver seat now the visibility issue resolved. I found the overall experience of car is excellent.
My bro has touched 25000km with this particular variant xz+ bs6 nexon petrol.

@@motoroids it's impossible to meet, your city is 2000km away...but nonetheless, i like driving it, he likes it, we drive fast and enthusiastic, and mostly over really bad roads and jungle roads...it perform well for a compact car. We have subscribed tata P2P service package for 4 years.

While applying breaks from 40 to 60 speed .. Or near patches/bad road.. Do anyone felt something hitting hard to the break paddle.. Or made some sound like something has been hit the bottom of the car near breaks..?? If yes.. What did u do? Whats the prblm?
It's not a problem. It's ABS.

But i never heard from other nexon owners yet!!..
Im feeling like the paddle is going to break with that sound/ like some rock hitting it hard.. And even clutch is vibrating..
My nexon too had same sound and i was told its abs acting.Also it comes on plain road if u brake hard.
@@HimanshuKumar-is1kr that's true. All ABS have a catch - release system to save from skidding.
Tata nexon XM petrol le ya tata Nexon XZ ......XM le ke 50,000 to 60,000/- Modification kar raha hu.....konsa model le suggest me
Agar budget hai to xz+ le lo...ek baar ka jhanjhat khatam! XM leke modfication main kaafi research karke modification karna...warranty main dikkat aa sakti hai.

@@user-zs7fu1pz9n अगर एसेसरीज टाटा से इंस्टॉल की तो वारंटी इनटैक्ट सेफ रहेगी। बाहर से अगर वायर कटिंग होगी तो वारंटी में प्रॉबलम आएगी। दुकानदार बोलेगा सर स्कॉच टेप्स (मुझे पता नहीं है एक्जैक्ट उसको क्या बोलते है) लगा लूंगा तो कुछ प्रॉबलम नही है, लेकिन वो गलत है। या फिर आप xz+ या ऊपर का वेरिएंट ले, या फिर टाटा से काम कराए।
At 6:11 he mentions are very valid point that I too have heard from friends and myself experienced with Hyundai. They have an arrogance and really don't care if they lose a few customers. The sales team behaves as if they personally own Mercedes and BMW and someone shelling above 10L of their hard earned money is a ch****

In the video he mentions, he booked it around last year Dec and must have got price protection. Also, there have been 3 price increases of Tata Nexon petrol version.

@@nikhil94410 1. How much will you drive? If it's a lot, buy a diesel. If your driving is limited to leisure and not everyday, then buy a petrol. Calculate the price differential based on the extra investment. To cover 1.2 lakhs of extra price for diesel varient, you need to drive xx kms to break even the investment. Make a calculation of that.
2. Refinement of engine -- petrol is unrefined (3 cylinder), diesel is refined (4 cylinder). Diesel is torquey and propels nicely. Petrol also propels in sports mode. So focus more on point # 1.

You'll hardly find any perfect car , a complete package and as a consequence you end up buying a higher segment car.
I have just 10 days old new Nexon XZ+ petrol, whenever i drive the car at speed of 104 or 105 the steering starts vibrating and reduce once speed reduce. i am concern about it
any idea why its happening if anyone experienced this

I havent crossed the legal speed limit of 100kmph, however, at 100kmph it seems super steady. I would recommend that you get the car checked. Also, buy P2P as most suspension parts are covered in it.
