Nexon is actually ageing reverse! A perfect example of a product which evolved over time and increased the appeal with every update and increased the base of its buyers.
I'm in loss in words. This new Nexon is a giant leap ahead. It is way better than the old one. This will easily have the sales it had earlier and will trump the brezza
As an owner of the 2019 Nexon Diesel Manual XZ+ variant driven 1,80,000kms, the 2023 car looks visually spectacular and they have addressed major issues but there are 2 small areas that I wish would've been fixed: -Controls for the orvms are set at an awkward place where you have to always stretch to use it, placing it near the window switches like other cars would be better. -The microphone is placed a bit behind the front passengers so I always got complains that my voice is too low but the rear passengers could talk just fine. -The usb ports and charging sockets for the front seats are not ergonomically placed, it is very difficult the reach and even more difficult to connect to the ports there are other issues but they are just minor inconveniences like the rear window being too small and the charging sockets for the rear passengers being at the shoulders of the rear passenger. There are also somethings that I cannot say since I haven't sat in the new car, like the throw of the front lights is always set downwards even at the highest setting in the headlight leveler so I always have to use headlights and that too doesnt provide much benefit. There are some things that I absolutely love that came out with this update: -The new infotainment system is so much better than previous one as it was just not up to the standards and this time they did digital instrument cluster right as it so much Audi like and I love it but I can see that the fps is a bit low but its alright. -Rear 'AC' vents finally, the model I have is just vents only and it is useless and having ventilated seats is also a good addition. -The design of nexon was always its talking point and its the same case for this one. -The design for the automatic gear selector looks like it came from a premium vw car so that's also nice. But I wont be considering updating because of these reasons: -The glossy piano black panels of the steering and ac controls is a deal breaker, it requires too much maintenance and is a scratch magnet, the previous steering looked much better in my opinion. -The touch buttons are also so much hassle to use while on the go, we had a Honda city 7-8 years ago that had touch ac controls and it was such a pain to use it, tata took a back step in that department, it may look nice but it is not functional. -I haven't had good experience with the servicing of tata. It is expensive than competition but it doesn't provide the same value. The experience I had with other car companies like Hyundai and ford were much better and also cheaper.
Was eagerly waiting for this since February, very proud that Indian manufacturer like Tata could pull crowd with such futuristic design and world class standards. Only downside is the after sales services are still very painful for many of customers.. Hope Tata and Mahindra could improve their standards regarding this which will indeed boost up there sales like crazy.. Anyways.. Gonna book nexon and get it this Dussehra ❤😍🔥
Really love the new design. Such a smart vehicle. I think a new stylish logo will ensure that the makeover is complete. Just wow, what a complete car overall.
No matter how much you media guys will crib focusing on nitpicking the shortcomings of the Nexon from years.. It will come out as a Champ as it has always done coz we the audience/ fans/ customers love the Nexon ❤❤
The New Tata Nexon 2023 Facelift is looking more Muscular than the previous one ♥️🔥 Although it should have been launched with the ALFA Architecture Platform 😍🙏
Tata gave everything! I usually praise Hyundai & Kia for giving every single useless feature. But tata played so well no useless features but every needy features!
Too much hate for the diesel engine. Having been driving diesel cars for the past 10 years, i struggle to adapt to a petrol car. Sad to see very less manufacturers are now investing in diesel engines.
Purple and red colours gave a weird feeling…I hope they have better colours..I already have Tata Tiago which is 3 cylinder so I am not in favour of 3 cylinder in Nexon as well…plus length of Nexon is lesser that Brezza or Grand Vitara and they are 4 cylinder…the good thing is power, torque, build quality and interior features of Nexon facelift in comparison to Brezza or Grand Vitara…
Would have loved to see the 4 cylinder engine on this which tata had showed off also a mild hybrid to make the car more fuel efficient would have meant the car would be the best in market..
Will you recommend Nexon petrol DCA or Elevate CVT or Grand Vitara Automatic for around 16 lakhs? Our monthly run is 800-1000km, 60% highway & 40% city and village roads, we want to keep car for atleast 10-12 years in Nashik
Looks like a video game console! Not sure why all are going towards such a funky look? Contemporary designs are better, VW duster, solid steering wheels and simple central screens will do, fees overdone. A smooth 4 cylinder petrol, lower ground clearance to control body roll, better visisbilty outside for rear passengers (pls enough with the coupe) will make this a matchless car.
Steering wheel modifications were unnecessary. It’s gonna look really bad a year down the line. Steering wheel had only one fatal flaw; it was challenging to operate the horn
Overall the interiors and exteriors are excellent, tata really nailed it. The mechanicals of this car remains the same. The same not so refined 3 cylinder petrol engine and the slow to react DCT gearbox which is a not so exciting addition. The same not so refined and not so smooth noisy diesel engine. People who did not have any problems with the drive feel of previous generation Nexon with the totally revamped design now , will not have anything to complain about this new iteration....
I don't know why but the interior looks a bit empty and the integration of the screen to the dashboard looks like an afterthought. Overall the car itself looks fresh and well thought
That petrol engine definitely needs a replacement . Two things they missed in this update is ADAS and the new TGDI engine. Otherwise this new update is slick
Biggest concern with tata nexon now is automatic Choice between petrol dct vs diesel amt is very tedious and cause confusion One is with good diesel engine and preliminary amt gearbox While other is with mediocre 3cyl petrol engine and good dca gearbox How to choose between these two
Nexon is actually ageing reverse! A perfect example of a product which evolved over time and increased the appeal with every update and increased the base of its buyers.
It definitely looks something more than a facelift, Tata has really taken the game up even for the segments above and below it.
They should have provided the 1.2 T-GDi engine which was showcased in the 2023 Auto expo
I'm in loss in words. This new Nexon is a giant leap ahead. It is way better than the old one. This will easily have the sales it had earlier and will trump the brezza
The Paint Quality looks Top Notch 😍 .. I've loved the design.. Interiors.. And the exterior!!

Beautifully updated❤
Top class review, each and everything explained neatly 👍
this is the big step up and upgrade and it looks beautiful is any colours 💖💖
Purple color is same as what the Palio NV had during launch.
It's been 6 years since TATA launched Nexon and it's been 6 years TATA has consistently not improved it's service quality 😮
Diesel engines still rock when it comes to uplifting the driver's enthusiasm
I was apprehensive about the purple color but it looks stunning ❤❤
Tata's Blockbuster Saga continues with the jovial Nexon 💜💜.Purple colour looks fantabulous.Excellent review as always 👍
oh my that purple colour looks gorgeous 💖
Cadbury dairy milk edition 😂
woooww! Tata nailed it! awesome look upgradation of nexon!✅
MS will probably reconsider their feature deletions they silently did on the Brezza recently.
I have driven DCT almost 30k km, best milage, best speed, best acceleration. Love it❤
Lambo launched a car in purple and now Tata ❤
All inspired by taarzan the wonder car
Really love the new design. Such a smart vehicle. I think a new stylish logo will ensure that the makeover is complete. Just wow, what a complete car overall.

That purple looks like the prowler. Daaaamnnn amazing this SUV is definitely worth it
The New Tata Nexon 2023 Facelift is looking more Muscular than the previous one ♥️🔥 Although it should have been launched with the ALFA Architecture Platform 😍🙏
Nexon is seriously playing the game...👍🏻
That purple looks simply outstanding ❤
Wow ..Interior , exterior everything looking so fresh and futuristic. This could be easily the Timeless design for Nexon. 👍
Nexon reminds me of good old ecosport.aging like a fine wine car. Looks are lovely too
Wow the looks and feature updates are amazing, only gripe is that I own the Nov 2022 model.
THAT PURPLE COLOUR IS SICK....!!!!!🔥🔥🔥
Am I the only one who thinks the infotainment screen isn't straight??
Best in the segment by far…
are the headlights powerful enough?
When will they launch facelift harrier?
Excellent details. Thank you so much 👍
Great awesome whatever to be said about review from autocar love u auto car ❤❤
I m going to book now.
nice what variant and color you picked 💖
@@aimanfitri0ivpurple is my favourite if dark edition comes then it is best
Hwz the suspension? It was hard on the earlier model?
My new Nexon gave me 23 kmpl average on highway. I was really surprised and amazed. 🙂
The design updation is superb. Especially the rear side. It's a big step from the safest car in the country 💘
I can only imagine this car in Dark red edition.. ❤ never knew that i would love purple colour so much 💜
Excellent Review ...can we expect dark edition in this new model Nexon?
Tata gave everything! I usually praise Hyundai & Kia for giving every single useless feature. But tata played so well no useless features but every needy features!
I ❤ this look
Steering wheel have display in it then how will the airbag will work in accident ??
there's no display on the steering wheel and the airbags as usual
Dats not a display kiddo, its just a glossy finish..seems like tata fan bois r disappointed wid that gimmik 😂
Sir plzz solve my query🙏 I m to book nexon facelift but confused between petrol/ deisel… driving 400km per month , 50% in hills, manual , my first car
Too much hate for the diesel engine. Having been driving diesel cars for the past 10 years, i struggle to adapt to a petrol car. Sad to see very less manufacturers are now investing in diesel engines.
Looks great.. but the glossy finish on steering N too much purple on seats looks weird..

Is it worth buying existing Nexon at this moment ?
Any suggestions..
New India and Great New Cars by Indian Manufacturers!!!!
Can we get rear disk brakes in Creative varient?
Would have loved to see the 4 cylinder engine on this which tata had showed off also a mild hybrid to make the car more fuel efficient would have meant the car would be the best in market..
Yes it needs more powerful engine
Nailed it..Great upgrades.

Honda elevate always . Nexon is crap.
Honda Elevate. It is a segment above. Engine is much refined and imo it will feel more premium.
Go for elevate as it has high ground clearance, nice interiors and one segment above than Nexon as well.
Its the Next Generation of Tata Nexon since it got it's mid life update (Facelift) back in 2020 .
Get rid of the touch sensitive buttons and make them buttons and nobs, then we get one of the best interior.
The steering reminds me of the steering columns of Tata HCVs from early 90s
Tata should have used better insulation/ dampening and dct in diesel to make a good experience for the buyers
What are you talking about?
Better insulation?
This car is effin 50% more insulated than the previous gen..... Isn't it a huge step up?
Tata in next level !!! ❤
Jay, how tall are you? The head restraints don't seem tall enough to be effective.
Indian PPL won't remove plastic protector from gloss black interiors so no need worry about scratches and smudges😂
I think I have found my First Car to buy.
Most advanced design and features enhanced it to First Global competitor from INDIA🇮🇳
Why no awd?
I wish they launched it with the new GDI 1.2 engine. Glad they didn't discontinued the diesel.
May you please compare Tata Nexon with the Honda Elevate
The Purple/lavender colour interior might look good to a few people initially but that colour will be an eye-sore afterwards.
Am I the only one who noticed that the centre infotainment is off set???? Perhaps might be perfect on production models...
@autocarindia1 any updates regarding harrier and safari launch dates?
Since you asked- Like the interior. My GF loves it. Its defo an USP for its unique proposition.
Great all rounder car.
Tu baat bahat badhiya kiya re…achha laga skill to achhi hai teri
try to include horn test or a simple horn sample in the video

Clear winner Sonet Diesel AT with 6-speed Torque Converter !! Match made in Heaven with unmatched interior quality.
Steering looks similar to the one found on Light Trucks.
The shade of purple is really fresh to look at
Is it 2023 or 2024 model?
Autocar India to correct it..!
Missed opportunity to make it a Tarzan the wonder car reference in this video!
Waiting for safari update 🔥🔥🔥
2023 neXon gives proper definition for the word "upgrade"
Steering wheel modifications were unnecessary. It’s gonna look really bad a year down the line. Steering wheel had only one fatal flaw; it was challenging to operate the horn
It reminds me of my childhood favourite car
"Tarzan" by its purple color
I hope they never change the TATA logo. Its such a timeless design.
Looks wayyy outdated
@mronion597 not at all.... even 15-20 years down the line the current logo will look good. It's timeless... it's mature...
This will be the game changer for Tata.
Game changer for sure
Great car
Love this Rich Purple color 💜
Its hideous 🤮🤮
Overall the interiors and exteriors are excellent, tata really nailed it.

Ta-Ta-rzan The wonder car 🚗❤
Best review I have seen. True to it’s worth not like other lickers how are acting like an extended PR team.
This is a really good upgrade!
The purple one gave me flashbacks of Tarzan: the wonder car.
Both friend and rear are stunning, but i think side silhouette should have a boxy top like evoque…..
What's with TATA and their 3 Cylinder engines? They should update the engine, indians deserve better.
Finally rear wiper under the spoiler just like range rover
Nexon is going to be the number 1 selling car and the numbers would go more than 20000 per month atleast for 6 months.
Biggest concern with tata nexon now is automatic
Choice between petrol dct vs diesel amt is very tedious and cause confusion
One is with good diesel engine and preliminary amt gearbox
While other is with mediocre 3cyl petrol engine and good dca gearbox
How to choose between these two
