Man I really want to know what inspired these murals
I totally forgot to mention that in the video! 😅 The samurai mural in Sokrates' room was inspired by League of Legends - I tried to kinda make a crossover character of Spirit Blossom Ahri and Yasuo but with my own twist and design, plus a calm cherry blossom background. The glowing squirrel-bunny-creature is just something I came up with, thought it complemented the feeling of the painting! 😄 For the other mural in Cedrik's room I tried to gather inspiration from some of his favorite games like Fortnite, Rust, etc. and make a more atmospheric night scene from that. Thanks for the question! ✨🙏
@@Nerdforge wow I thought they might have been more direct references, you're so creative!!
The love she feels for her brothers...
Hiii ilove you nerdforge
@@Nerdforge the squirrel bunny reminds me of the carbuncle from FFXIV online.
"Whaaat? Has Martina been here?" Why was that so wholesome? Best sister ever!
Without a doubt haha
@@mattearenzi8972 you made me click it btw.
Felicity crossing now I clicked it bcs y’all said so 🗿
What a coincidence, not many people are called Martina.
@@sonnvaglitch6385 if you come to Italy you will find a Martina every two seconds
Youngest brother: *freaking out*
Middle child: "Was Martina here?" In a chill voice
Middle child’s wayyyy to used to it 😂
Major cool points!
Lol
Middle brother is used to the attention-seeking behavior
@@pigglewiggle175 what??
I totally loved the: "Has Martina been here?" it was so natural
Just like, naturally, this is another incredible project
Lol yes
I love how in awe the younger brother is. Where as the older brother, who's more used to Martina being Martina, just walks in like "Martina has definitely been here hasn't she?"
Ikr, its just so commonplace for him lmfao
you dont know them.
@@gustavwf6710 ?
He also got up the stairs later so he probably saw some of the changes to his younger brother's room through his still open door, so he had a hunch of what to expect in his own room.
I love both their reactions: one is "HOLY SHIT!" and the other is "That must be Martina" 😅
And how the older brother saw the lights and was like "And that's Hansi"! 😂
Sad part is thats about how my siblings respond when i do stuff for them as a surprise too. Hayden does the “holy shit its so cool” and Douglas is just “Lilly did this didnt she?”
I like how one brother just repeats "Holy shit" for a while while the other is just like "Has Martina been here?" 😂
"Watching paint dry" is a saying that means something is boring
But watching paint dry in a timelapse might be one of the most satisfying things I've ever experienced
My husband wanted that job for real 😂
Sammmee lol
@@somethingbambi875 xD
as a person with an entire family full of creative artistic people, I can confirm that when he walked in saw the mural and just said, totally deadpan "oh, Martina's been in here"... that... that was an 'artistic sibling' mood.
I have come home in the past, and like only been gone over the weekend for a trip or something and- boom! Whole ass mural or all new interior decorating or something. Like HOW DID YOU LITTLE SHITS DO THIS I WAS GONE FOR 2 DAYS!!
I love that they weren't even surprised it was just "has Martina been here"
Big props to your dad for being so supportive of your talents that he unleashed you in his own house.
Her body is perfection
Yes, but that's not the right response to this comment mate XD
@@peterick5418 😆
@@peterick5418 seriously, I read vIPR’s comment as “his body is perfection” as if they were talking about her dad and I was kinda confused not gonna lie 😂
Okay but what do you think people would do if like they moved out what do you think the people who move in will do
The snack bowls really pushed this over the top for me of what a thoughtful sister she is!
Imagine having friends over
Their reactions would be priceless
They’d just be like: yeah I have the best sister ever 😂
You know what I enjoy about this video? It was honest :) it wasn't over exaggerated, nobody running around yelling. Just a couple of yonger brothers walking into their rooms like "Oh hey, my extremely talented sister painted my room cool." Heck yeah :3
Honestly them being Scandinavian probably was a big part of that. We’ve got pretty muted responses to stuff like this in general. XD
Hmmm sounds like zhc
I'm glad someone else appreciates this. It feels like the natural evolution of UA-cam as both the platform itself and its user base grows and matures. I'm excited for the day where this kind of content is propped up by the algorithm because it's at users want more of. That way the masses can follow the horizon trend as usual and we all make out. (Like bandits, not with our face holes)
Thry looked like they were bothered and hated it... 😕
@@nomdeplume2213 it's just a cultural thing, I guess. I don't think I know a lot of people, especially at that age, that would be jumping with joy and cheering in front of others. They seemed glad and appreciative to me in their own way. 😊
I freaking love how the first thing one of them thinks after seeing a GIANT BEAUTIFUL PAINTING appear from thin air in his bedroom wall is "Ok. Has Martina being here?" HAHAHAHA XD
Both rooms look awesome! As awesome as the sister these two gentlemans have
I laughed so hard at that moment, my neighbors heard me!
i love when he’s like “oh Martina has been here” 😂😂😂 so sweet and the murals turned out so cool.
Based on the reactions of her brothers I have the impression that the themes of the murals fit quite nicely to their personalities.
One appears more direct, bold and maybe a bit mischievous (which fits well with the bright colors, the partially drawn sword and the three-tailed squirrel), while the other appears more dreamy, observing and reflecting (which fits well with the subtle beauty of the night scene and the wanderer resting next to the fireplace seemingly reflecting on his adventures).
These are brothers who know their sister: "Was Martina here?"
I never knew how satisfying it can be to watch paint drying while Martina is working on the wall! Your brothers are so lucky to have such a talented sister! I adore you!
BTW: Best wishes to Hansi, too!
Can I just appreciate how you draw fires? Whenever you draw them you make them look just so amazing and so much more realistic than most people can
Yeah, when I try it looks like a bunch of triangles, and fireflies tied to the triangles.
Her fire technique is actually really interesting. The first thing she does is break a rule of painting fire. Normal fire is orange to white. First thing she does is add this deep red, or really strong orange. But the contrast because of it makes it LOOK brighter. So while, if you look at a video or photo of fire, you would never see those deep dark reds and oranges, it somehow looks sort of "hyper-real" on the paintings. It's a unique technique, I haven't seen anyone else pull it off that way.
@@rolfathan Right. Her fires are the most beautiful fires I've ever seen
@@mystic_tacos I'm sorry, that made me laugh XD
Awesome! I love how your brothers say “Has Marina been here” like it’s the most natural thing. Neither one is angry, but is instead amazed at how their rooms have been redecorated - like it’s the greatest surprise in the world (and it is). I also like how your dad pretty much says “your brothers rooms need a make-over, go crazy with it” and is cool with it. Seriously, wish my family was as cool as yours.
I love the color palette you use in your paintings pink, purple, all the shades of blue. you make incredible contrasts and add a lot of light to your work
Their reactions was such a typical teenager response, like I know my brother would react EXACTLY like this if I did this to his room xD
I love that your dad is supportive of your art & your brothers were so caught off guard 🖤💜💚💙 I loved this
I just gotta say, I LOVE the added clock to show just how much time passes while you’re doing projects. Really puts it all into perspective 👌🏼💛
"Has Martina been here?" 😂
great work - especially with those liquitex spraycans they are by far the hardest to control cans on the market! Mad respect - beautiful vandalism 😂😂👍
Thank you so much 😊🙏 First time using it for any painting, so I'm lucky that I decided to just do the first rough color blocking with them 😅

Lol. “Has Martina been here?” Such a brother comment. The rooms look amazing! Especially the lighting & details as well as the murals. You get the awesome sister award! Do they do art too?

"Has Martina been here?" Lol, amazing work as usual, and as expected. Every time you went back to painting the darker of the rooms was another "holy shit" moment. Bravo!
I love that the clock is in there to show us as the time elapses even when it is sped up. Incredible work.
Great, now I am sitting here in my livingroom, staring at my blank white walls and wondering how much the paint would cost me... Awesome work Martina! I love both motives sooo much!!!
I don't suppose you ever got an answer to that, did ya? 😁
@@eden1909 I actually did xD I was so inspired that I bought paint some time later on Amazon and started with a reference that I really liked. It took a huge amount of time and even today I didn't reach the "finished" stage yet, but it looks extremely cool in my livingroom and I am super happy with it :D
@@SPGRAsassin murals are so easy to just....never be done with lol
But because of that you can randomly add stuff in with time, which makes them 10 times as fun imho
Not much, I just bought simple grayish-black paint and painted the wall where my TV is. And it looked so much better already. Also, I do not tend to buy the most expencieve brushes either, BUT be ware of the brush losing bits, if that dries on the wall, it won't look great. So either make sure to get a good brush which could be expencieve or always be on guard. :P
Really beautiful artwork, I wish I had something like this on my walls! Congrats to you both on 1M subs!!
Thank you Zak 💜
@@Nerdforge its awesome
How can one person be so creative and so good at all these creative projects? It blows my mind
4:00 At this point I'm thinking "Bob Ross would approve of those happy trees that will watch over your brothers."
I love that your brother looked at an epic art and asked "Has Martina been here?"
He immediately knew your work and that's awesome
: "Vandalizing my brother's walls."
Me:" You enhanced them! I wish my wall could look like that."
"It looks great."
This lets me think about the day you painted your van.
Nice idea making the paintings murals.
Man, why isn't my sister an artist that could paint my room?
Wait. I am a 36 year old man and don't have a sister...
Great job, would hire you to paint my office/gaming room ;)
I'm 42 and do have a sister. If she did this to my room I might not physically hurt her, but everything would be flat white again by nightfall, or I'd book a hotel. Crazy street art is fine for the street, but I have to sleep in here and my nightmares don't need any more fuel to wake me up screaming three to five times a week.
@@InservioLetum Well I didn't specify, but since I live in my own flat with multiple rooms, I really would love to have my office/gaming room painted. But yes, the rest of my walls should be white! I had to give in to one gray and one gray-blue wall in our flat already - my girlfriend wanted that. And to be fair it looks kinda cool, but I had to stop her from using realy bright colors. One can't look at that shit after 6 months.
@@InservioLetum I'm also 42, I'd definately keep the art on the walls if it looked something like this! But I also can't stand all white walls :P
I really like this, i know what its like having a small room, you cant really personalise it cause there isn't enough space to decorate it, so being able to paint the wall and make it look nice for them is so cool.
That campfire was by far the best painted campfire I’ve ever seen
I read the title and just thought: _I need to become a UA-camr, so I can get away with that too._
And after watching the video I thought: _I wish my brother would be a UA-camr._
oh my gosh, the night scenerywith the red tree IS SO PRETTY!! i love the light effects evrywhere and the small flowing things, wow!
I think you are an amazing artist and a great big sister. You and your brother lighted up my day and made me smile. Thank you !
wow, you truly are an artistic genius, the way you painted the sword in LAST despite the pose itself and then hand perspective depending on it!!!! the way you paint fire, how you make things really glow and have so much dimension! how vividly you visualize things in your head before recreating them irl is crazy. you're insanely talented and beautiful and inspiring!! i love watching you create these masterpieces! i knew the first one was League inspired, it looks like Spirit Blossom Martina!!
Nerdforge videos are always a day-brightener, and the boys' reactions made it that much better.
I just found your channel today with the finger project videon in the YT trends. This is the second video I watched and I'm subscribing now. Love the murals, you're so talented! This came as a surprise to me since usually tech talented people are not talented in art, so satisfying to see a person having both!
For you Martina to have a cool dad such as you do. To say Martina, come and unleash your inner self on your brothers rooms is by far the coolest dad ever. A very supportive father who believes in you is totally the best dad any daughter could have. Hats Off to you both.
The lighting on the mural with the sowrd lady satisfies me on another level
I like how one brother is like WOOOOW and the other one: "Hmm, Martina was here". 😂 Now you need to come back and paint the other side of the rooms to match.
Martina is not just a great artist but a super cool sister as well.
I'm the oldest daughter of 4, with two younger brothers and a younger sister, and I'm the only one in our family with an artistic bone in my body. While I don't share much in common with my middle siblings, my baby brother and I are total nerds together and I love making art for him since actual merch can be expensive. I'm not very gifted in traditional art nor can I really afford it, but this still reminds me of when I'd make things like printed out and laminated cake toppers for his birthday, or just doodling an anime character for him when I need inspiration. It's a very nice feeling, and it's great seeing other artists do things for their families as well. ^^ Definitely loved this.
My mum used to paint murals in my room and would also paint my bunk bed. One I remember was me as a princess with my two pugs in front of a castle.
Good thing your brothers left their rooms clean. My brothers' rooms would have been disasters
I mean, if I understood her correctly they weren't even moved in yet, so who knows how messy their rooms will end up in the future :D
It doesn't seem like they were living there yet. I think they just moved in? I mean there was nothing in those rooms except a bed and a table and a chair... :P
@@maxinehunter4933 yeah they were each also carrying up their monitors at the end. So most likely not moved in quite yet
Growing up I loved SUPERMAN and wish I had a mural of Christopher Reeve as Superman as a mural in my room but I am now kind of old for that being 70 years old! You do beautiful work and I love watching your videos! Well done from Ohio USA!
Love how genuine their reactions were. Compared to all the screaming we get on other such videos on UA-cam.
Love how your's and Hansi's Dads are so supportive of what you do.
I've thought wall murals were cool for a really long time, and this only increases my desire to paint one
I cried. Thank you, family is precious.
This is SO INCREDIBLY CUTE!!!! aw 😍💗 You have a beautiful family... And are so creatively talented. Every time I thought the mural was just about done, she starts highlighting or shading and... Wow. 😲 Just wow. So cool!
It was fun hearing you speak Norwegian. I find it amusing to try and see how much I understand as a Swedish person.
Is it similar language? Like Dutch and german
I realized something during this video. When the "new patrons" rolls went on, I thought "What a cool video for your name to appear in that roll, it must feel kinda special !". And then I thought that the video I appeared in as a new patron (the diagon alley bookorama) was awesome too and I felt special for it. And just like that, I realized all your videos have that special kind of vibe, and that's absolutely amazing. So many videos, so many projects, and you manage to make every single one of them special and astounding. Thank you for making content of such an amazing level, I'm very happy that I get to help a tiny little bit towards it ! Thank you for all the smiles and wows you give us all :) Also, I'm very jealous of your brothers :P They get amazing murals, and an amazing sister and brother in law ! ^^
You’re an amazing sister to do this for your brothers.
In fast motion as you painted the womans hair you could see the shine and sparkle of the wet paint. The light made the wet paint seem to sparkle and move as it dried. It looked like magic energy coming from the brush as it moved across the wall. Cool surprise
My brain instantly when reading "lil brothers walls vandalized":
"Please a pink unicorn with pink LEDs! Please a pink unicorn with pink LEDs! Please a pink unicorn with pink LEDs! Please a pink unicorn with pink LEDs! Please a pink unicorn with pink LEDs! Please a pink unicorn with pink LEDs! Please a pink unicorn with pink LEDs!"
and the unicorn must fart a rainbow!
I was thinking that the two brothers now never will be able to change their rooms. :-)
My 9 year old son would be very happy with that on his wall
@@melissalemmons549 Teen brothers? Nope. Mine would have killed me (while I was laughing hysterically but thats not the point)
@@LaserGadgets he's not a teen yet, but pink, rainbow, and sparkles have been his favorite colors for as far back as he could express an opinion. Just like I wouldn't do a red or blue mural for him, I wouldn't do a pink sparkly one for my other sons.
